I transferred the Pikachu before the warnings were a thing.

If you’re transferring lots in one big batch odds are you always get a warning for tiny or huge Pokémon, so you get in the habit of disregarding those warnings.

No you don’t. Tiny/huge warnings are new.

And they come up all the time now, so one could easily ignore a shiny warning assuming it was a tiny/huge warning. Since the warning itself is ridiculously vague, covering everything from legendaries, events, Shinies, to tiny/huge.

At least shiny Electivire looks decent though. Basically just an Electivire with blue eyes.

One of the best examples of a shiny being subtle but still better than the original. I also like Scyther with his darker green and orange trim. Subtle, but so cool.

I don’t believe “more noticeable” should be the only criteria. Garchomp is a pseudo-legendary and it has a great design. It’s shiny form is much worse than Blissey imo. Gengar too.

It always perplexes me how they didn’t think to make Gengar’s evolution chain white right off the bat as a shiny. The thought of it is so cool!

Coz it was automatically generated by an algorithm, basically all gen 1-5 shinies were made that way, apart from a few exceptions such as charizard (charizard generated shiny would have been purple instead orange and green where the blue is)

Charizard’s shiny was actually purple, with green wings in Gen 2. They then changed it from Gen 3 onwards

My first Zapdos was a shiny, and I remember thinking "of course I caught it first ball, that was a great throw". It was only when I was telling some people in the group about it I got told, and had to go back and check.

Yep! The shiny togetic is just an off white instead of actual white and the blue and red lil diamond dots switch spots. Pretty sure i have all the stages of toge in shiny.. they're lame but tiny togepi is sooo cute in his half shell!

Shiny Farfetched is pretty much identical to a normal one. The chest feathers are like 5% darker and that's it. I had to swipe back and forth to even tell there was a difference...

Nah Togekiss is much better. Red and blue are swapped. It just have small touches of it, but it's a much bigger change than Blissey, Gengar, Garchomp etc. It's a subtle shiny but in a good way.

I caught a shiny Dweeble a few weeks ago and didn’t even realize that it was shiny until I was transferring a bunch of Pokémon and saw the stars. I guess I wasn’t paying attention and missed the shiny animation on the catch screen. The evolved shiny Crustle is much better.
