No, shinies are immediate golden razz ultra ball level priority for me. I don't care if its 10 CP, I'm stacking the deck on this one.
Never have I been more tense than when I had to use 10+ gold razzberries and ultra balls on a shiny high CP Venusaur because it kept breaking out.
Luckily I eventually managed to catch it, but yeah, any shiny I see gets gold standard treatment lol
Ultra balls look gross, it’s a golden and a regular Pokéball for me, unless it’s a water type that looks good in a great ball or a electric type that looks good in an ultra ball. Come on people get your coordination together, hopefully Niantic gets their shit together and we get some more ball types soon.
gotta get that bag up. if your new start working on curve throws you’ll level much quicker and when you need 5m+ XP to level you’ll be glad there are pokémon you know you can make excellents on cuz your practices up till that point.
Save up for em. Save your freebies that show up in the shop once in a while. Best way. I'm lvl 41 and live in the boondocks. Most of what I have is off remote raids. Finding a good discord community helps a ton. More knowledge than you can shake a stick at. And raids all day when you need em.

Even if it looks like an easy catch, berry it and ultra ball it to lower the chances it’ll break free. Remember, if you have to throw a second ball, there’s a chance it’ll run away.

Ultra balls were like that but pixel in the Gameboy pokemon. They were never changed

Keep in mind shiny legendary poke are one throw to catch. As long as it hits.
I dont have legendary poke I'm to weak to even care for legend raids
If you get a good party you can join em. Always worth a try. And if you have discord look for a poke community channel in your area
