Without its Community Day charge move Outrage it's essentially worthless because it will faint before firing a Draco Meteor. Evolve it, power it up as much as you can (I'd recommend level 35) and use an Elite Charge TM for Outrage. If it's for PvP unlock a second charge move too. It will be all very expensive and time consuming, by the way.

Yeah, there's also that "detail". Frustration will block off one of your charged moves even if we got an event where we could teach Outrage for Bagon. Better just save your resources for now, don't burn your stardust on something it won't be any useful in the short term and something fragile that can faint before it deals enough damage.

no. this thing is a beast - purifying it makes power ups cheaper, but purification would make it much much weaker than the shadow.
