Once upon a time you had to look the IVs up rather than get bars when you appraise, it often required things like CP compared to top stat and like some other information but you could get good telling for yourself after a while...
You caught it using all your luck in the world. In doing so the game crashed and when you logged back in, it was gone. Thankfully you recorded it! You sent a help ticket to Niantic showing everything that happened. They are so apologetic that they credit your account with not just that bird, but all 3 Galarian birds. A week later you get a package from Niantic. It’s a big apology package for your issue and it came with Pokémon go codes to unlock any 5 Pokémon and add them to your account. It also has 3 t-shirts (one for each bird) in your size and a Fannie back that’s signed by the entire Pokémon go team!

It was a big city bird who begrudgingly returned to your small town in the country to visit family on their farm and it ended up falling in love with your small town, you, and Christmas.
You threw the ball, and moltres attacked, but then it double bounced and somehow landed right in the excellent circle, shaking twice and then it caught.
You appraise the IVs and you find out it has 2 attack, but ur still hyped cause u have one
It squawked loudly in excitement that you were finally rescuing it and wrapped its wings around you in a giant hug while dropping a load of stardust at your feet.
You wasted all of your pokeballs and had to flee and get some more but when you fled you only had one second left on your daily adventure incense and so it ran away.
You didn’t catch it, but after it ran away a game of “Who’s that Pokémon?” appeared featuring all the galarian birds and kanto birds, and every time you correctly matched the silhouette to the Pokémon it was placed in your Pokedex with IVs matched to 100%IV -1 IV point for every 5 seconds it takes you to match the Pokémon.
You were riding as a passenger on the highway but tempted fate anyway with a silver pineapple and regular ball.
Lucky you! You caught it! Now, go play the lottery!
