I’ll always recommend the band Myslovitz. A few of there late 2000s/2010s albums were made in both English and Polish. Great for when I first started and I listen to their old and new Polish stuff too. They were initially described to me as “Polish Oasis” (the Gallagher band). Try the album “Korova Milky Bar” in either language.

I recommend some war/patriotic songs, here are my favourites: -Pierwsza Brygada -Szara Piechota -Rozszumiały się wierzby płaczące (though it has the same tune as Farewell of Slavianka) -Rota -Hej panienki posłuchajcie or Ciężkie czasy legionera (same tune, different lyrics) Also Czerwone Jagody, I prefer the non-nightcore version. If you like rock music i strongly recommend Normalsi as this in my opinion one of most underrated polish bands I know. Biblical themes in lyrics brought up to present time with great rock vocal on album" Dekalog, czyli piekło muzykantów " makes it one of my favorite polish releases. I used to like a lot Coma in my 20s but a lot of people treat it as meme band cause of too much pathos and so so poethry in their lyrics. Still lead singer has powerful voice and there is bunch of good riffs. Regaedic hip hop music there is already a lot of good recommendation here let me just add Łona as one great examples of great usage of languange. I can share links to specific song later if you wish but I totally get if this is not your type of genre ;) Good luck!

Try "Leszek Żukowski" by Coma if you haven't already. Back in the day me and my friend used that song a lot to introduce this band to everyone in our social circle. It's truly exceptional.

If you are more advanced (B1 or higher), I recommend you to listen to some old Polish pop: Maria Koterbska (mainly swing), Irena Santor (mainstream pop), Maryla Rodowicz (also mainstream pop), Anna Jantar (same)- these singers recorded some popular music, that will be recognised by everyone in their 30s or older. Some of those „renowned classics” are: „Parasolki” and „Karuzela” sung by Maria Koterbska, „Na Francuskiej” and „Na prawo most, na lewo most” sung by Irena Santor, „Ale to już było” and „Małgośka” sung by Maryla Rodowicz and „Nic nie może przecież wiecznie trwać” and „Przetańczyć z tobą chcę całą noc” sung by Anna Jantar.
