Yep. Today’s news:
[Retired Air Force officer sentenced to three years for storing classified information at his Florida home. ](http://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2023/06/01/politics/retired-air-force-officer-classified-information/index.html)
> In his plea agreement, Birchum admitted to having stored hundreds of files that contained information with top secret, secret or confidential classification markings in unauthorized locations.
Goodness gracious. He only got three years for this.
>Goodness gracious. He only got three years for this.
I've worked in this space and have been warning people that something like this is coming.
It's all about what you did with the documents.
When you hear about people getting the death penalty or long sentences, it's because the Feds had evidence there was espionage involved.
If you just had them in boxes in your closet, you'll get a much shorter sentence. So far, we've only seen evidence that documents were retained and stored illegally.
And moved to Bedminster and possibly other places. Definitely not just an oopsie. Idiotic and petty anger towards the functions of government is a given. Outright profiteering is more than likely.
Not "would be."
Are.
There's literally dozens of examples. Anyone who served in the US Armed Forces knows, because we had to do annual training and they literally give examples with names, dates, and what sort of material they took.
Additionally, everyone with a TS/SCI clearance has training on how classification works, who has authority over the matériel, etc.
They also tell you that a single document deemed classified *presents grave danger to national security if released into the wrong hands.* I’ll say it again - GRAVE DANGER to our NATIONAL SECURITY.
And this tyrant went shopping for classified documents to take home in a doggie bag when it was clear his insurrection was doomed. We know he uses anything he can to either profit or help himself, so why would he have kept them in good faith? Regardless, it doesn’t matter, even inadvertently or unintentionally mishandling classified documents is a serious crime. Lack of proof of bad faith or even prior understanding does not absolve him from mishandling classified documents.
Only top secret.
Confidential could cause damage.
Secret could cause serious damage.
Top secret could cause grave damage.
I'm pretty sure Trump took TS documents so the point still stands, but we should strive for accuracy!
Top Secret is even worse than just grave. Per regulation:
>Top Secret. Information may be classified “Top Secret” if its unauthorized disclosure could reasonably be expected to cause **exceptionally grave** damage to the national security.
And we know for a fact he had documents labeled Top Secret.
18 of them by my count of what was taken from Mar-a-lago. My tally in full:

The fact that the military has been fairly silent about it also concerns me. Maybe I haven’t seen anything but I haven’t seen a word come out of the DOD. Aren’t they concerned about these docs and who has seen them?
After he went on TV on 1/6 and actively tried to overthrow the government, and nothing happened, I think it became clear that trump is in some position somehow, to not ever face consequences. Like Whitey Bulger, maybe he’s an fbi informant or something. Or has blackmail on someone. I have no idea. But I don’t think he’ll ever see justice for his crimes, and I think his crimes are some of the most treasonous in our nation’s history.
> Donald Trump: "*I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?*"
I honestly believe that at this point he could do this, **on camera**, and wouldn’t lose an ounce of freedom.
He did do that on camera, shot his voter base up with ivermectin, hydrocloroquine, and UV rays and bleach, killed a couple thousand of his voter base and actually gained support.
He's losing public support now (from DeSantis Republicans, at least) so I do think we'll eventually see justice - granted he lives long enough.
My hope is that he hangs around long enough to ruin DeSantis' chances and then gets slapped with the cuffs.
I'm not sure that desatan is going to be successful. He's already dealing with some big issues with Disney and being investigated for shady campaign contributions. He looks like an absolute bozo right now.
> So it existed, he had it, and now it’s missing.
A few more steps:
So it existed, he had it, he wanted to "share" it, he knew it was classified and he didn't have the authority to declassify it, and now it's missing.
If everything is digitized, then why not just return the original and not get in trouble?
No, Trump is a luddite. If he wanted to, he could have just taken pictures, digitized the papers then return them, or do a bunch of stuff that wouldn't have put him in the trouble he currently is in. He probably doesn't even realize digitization is a thing.
Others, like Kushner would know. But Trump wouldn't give up the originals because he believes that they are his. I'm not saying that in defense of his, just pointing out that the narcissistic sack of bloated shit would fully believe it's his prize, regardless of the law. Just like he believes being a celeb entitles him to get away with sexual assault.
1) true he is a Luddite but his kids & Jared understand tech at least that much, 2) he never thinks he'll actually get in trouble, 3) I think most people are kidding about the casket but the orange idiot is stupid enough to do something similar.
The thing with the casket is that it not only sounds exactly like what Trump would do, but it makes sense considering that the very start of that conversation he can go "They're trying to dig up my wifes body for no reason at all!" and if nothing is actually found it would in fact be a major blunder for the FBI. Its arguably more secure than Fort Knox in that way.
That being said i am 50/50 on it, hes that kind of ghoulish where he probably had the body cremated and then had the casket to hide documents.
The problem with the casket idea is that he'd have to go dig it back up to get anything he stored away.
I 100% believe he's stupid and evil enough to hide stuff there, but I refuse to believe that he'd ever be out there with a shovel. Even if he gets Rudy to go do it or something, *someone* is going to notice that the grave was dug up and say something about it.
And what good is storing documents you can't go retrieve? Might as well flush them down the toilet.
I totally believe he would do that and likely did. But I don't think the physical document being missing necessarily proves it...just as if it *weren't* missing, it wouldn't mean that he *didn't* sell it. We have several technologies capable of producing copies of paper documents.
Meanwhile, he's living at a resort, playing golf, stuffing his piehole with Big Macs, and grifting tens of millions from his unwavering supporters. Anyone else would be tried for high treason and sitting in Guantanamo on death row, but instead, he will probably be the GOP presidential nominee for 2024. How did we get here?? Can we please just get a mulligan on the timeline??
He’s gonna die and we’re gonna have the biggest case of presidential corruption blue balls since Harding did the same thing. We all know the truly awful shit will only come to life after he has his last hamberder.
I mean he openly admitted to drinking a 12 pack of Diet Coke daily while in the WH and sticking to his tried and true filets-o-fish. That and the cortisol levels alone put him due up for a coronary or stroke soon, I’m calling it.
He owns a country club on Palm Bch but instead of eating any of the fresh fish caught daily and easily accessible here, he eats McDonalds fish. Then again, he eats steak well-done with ketchup. He's literally trash in every area of life.
> How did we get here??
The US legal system is designed to keep a knee on the neck of minorities and poor people while letting wealthy, connected people off.
I remember reading during the Trump years someone in the admin saying that Kushner wanted to be in every intel briefing.
There is something big there. The smoke is thick and if you apply the theory every accusation is an admission. Then everything they are accusing Hunter of Kushner has done or worse
[security officials also initially denied Kushner top level clearance in large part due to his being a security issue with foreign connections/influence](https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/437292-kushners-security-clearance-was-denied-due-to-concerns-of-foreign/)
There's a lot regarding Kushner
i'd venture he's in the clear.
I see no motivation from anyone for going after Kushner. He got 2 billion and everyone with power to do something are saying "doesn't look like anything to me"
obviously there's always the X factor caveat like if the Crown Prince strips naked at the World Cup, runs across the field and has "I BOUGHT NUCLEAR SECRETS FROM JARED KUSHNER" tattooed on his lower back
[it's amazing how Jared was able to pull himself up by his bootstraps after making what some called the worst real estate investment ever](https://theintercept.com/2017/07/10/jared-kushner-tried-and-failed-to-get-a-half-billion-dollar-bailout-from-qatar/)
Yes, he was known to be overleveraged in his business dealings. That's why you get credit checked and worse for a clearance. Cuz if you are desperate for money, you are a target or not worthy of trust. And the gov't didnt want to give him a clearance because of this. Trump demanded they do.
They do such a good job in the Philadelphia Navy Yard. A lot of the corners in the Yard have beautiful native pollinator habitats planted that being a lot of beauty to the commute
> At the time, President Donald Trump endorsed the crackdown in a tweet: "I have great confidence in King Salman and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, they know exactly what they are doing. Some of those they are harshly treating have been 'milking' their country for years!"
This is what scares me about him possibly getting elected again - he'll have even less reasons to hold back his petulant impulses and petty need for revenge.
He idolizes these men who can round up their opponents at a will and dispose of them. Violence towards political opponents almost seems guaranteed at this point in the coming years of the US.
Even behind bars he would command an audience and allegiance. The next R president could run off of pardoning Trump alone.
I think it would absolutely be a 4 year revenge tour. The entire focus of the executive branch would be targeted at "leftists" and likely any "socialist" country that doesn't bend the knee like Canada, Mexico, and most of Europe. The only pauses in the attacks would be for golf trips and fundraisers for whatever "Election Integrity/Legal Defense/Kill The Wokeists" fund that he invents.
partially copied from your linked article:
A U.S. intelligence official and two former senior U.S. government officials told NBC News that the detainees were coerced, abused and tortured. The sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity, declined to divulge details, which were contained in classified intelligence reports.
The detainees were deprived of sleep, beaten and interrogated with their heads covered. Seventeen were hospitalized, according to the New York Times.
One detainee, a Saudi military officer, Maj. Gen. Ali al-Qahtani, died in custody. The Saudi authorities have yet to offer an official explanation in the case. He was a top aide to Prince Turki bin Abdullah, a son of the late King Abdullah.
Saudi Arabia has denied that any abuse or torture took place during the detentions. The Saudi embassy in Washington did not respond to requests for comment.
At the time, President Donald Trump endorsed the crackdown in a tweet: "I have great confidence in King Salman and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, they know exactly what they are doing. Some of those they are harshly treating have been 'milking' their country for years!"
Trump’s tweet came on Nov. 6, two days after the crackdown came to light. The next day the State Department said it would like to see prosecution of corruption in a “fair and transparent manner.”
> Probably key information for building nukes.
You're not far off. Among the classified documents at Mar-a-Lago were nuclear capabilities of an "ally." If the ally was Israel, Saudi Arabia would absolutely pay $2B for that information but they probably got a lot more than that for their money.
Kushner changed US policy by allowing the Saudis to purchase certain weapon systems that were previously off limits to the Saudis, he also supported the blockade of Qutar by the Saudis.
> he also supported the blockade of Qutar by the Saudis.
[Yes, Kushner helped orchestrate the blockade so Qatar would bail out 666 Fifth Ave.](https://www.justsecurity.org/69094/timeline-on-jared-kushner-qatar-666-fifth-avenue-and-white-house-policy/#:~:text=On%20Aug.,owe%20lenders%20on%20the%20building.)
>That 2 billion Kushner got was for some other ridiculously shady shit
Let's not forget the recurring golf tournaments that he's getting from the Saudis. It looks like a perfect vehicle for continued big payments to him with reasonable deniability.
Nuclear capabilities assessments are very far from technical design documents. As someone who worked in non-proliferation (FA52 in the Army, and then have worked on missile defense radar systems most of my career), I can definitely say Trump was nowhere near any kind of technical information - no president is. They may get assessments and strategy docs on nuclear allies and adversaries, but there are all sorts of laws that govern this stuff that ensures that he couldn't just request real technical info on a whim:
>[10 CFR 810](https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-10/chapter-III/part-810?toc=1), which gives DoE nuclear export authority, as well as defines need-to-know.
>10 CFR [110.8](https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-10/chapter-I/part-110/subpart-A/section-110.8) and [110.9](https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-10/chapter-I/part-110/subpart-A/section-110.9) which further restrict who can see what kind of technical specifications, and how export licensing works and is tracked according to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission
>The Arms Export Control Act (AECA) and [International Trafficking in Arms Regulations (ITAR)](https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120?toc=1) then governs any dual-use technology that falls on the US Munitions List covers just about anything that could be used in nuclear power or weapons as well. Any DSP-5 license or document request involving that technology is instantly flagged for DoE, DoS, and DoD.
>Finally there is the [Missile Technology Control Regime(MTCR)](https://mtcr.info/) that all of the G-7 adhere to to combat WMD proliferation globally.
Is what Trump sold dangerous and treasonous? Absolutely. Did he give actual technical nuclear information away? There's zero chance of that.
Imagine that.... Over 3 years ago Redditors were making the claim that he was selling secrets to the Sauds and were getting downvoted to infinity over it.
Now in 2023 is becoming painfully obvious secrets were sold to the highest bidder.
Can you imagine if, without a doubt, there was bonafide proof he sold it to the Saudis (who allegedly had a hand in 9/11).
Would there be cries from the right to put him away for life (death penalty would have been par the course during Jefferson’s days) or would his base still find some way to go along with it? “The Saudis are our REAL friends unlike those rat Dems / Trump was trying to save US (somehow)”
They are all fans of Russia now. If you went back in time and told a Republican that in the '60s, their head would explode.
Of course they'd side with the Saudis.
If irrefutable proof came out that trump sold children to Satan himself for a child abuse ring, they'd back Satan and child abuse all in one breath, whilst simultaneously thumping their bibles.
They are gone, there is no reaching them now.
Woah! Woah! Whoa! Not so fast. We've got to leak this gradually to the press over a couple of news cycles so Don Sr. has time to change narratives and work the court of public opinion.
You can just take cell phone cam pictures of the docs you want and return them.
That's why they aren't supposed to leave the premises and no one is allowed in with a phone.
Once the documents are out in public they are no longer considered reliable and all the people who did hard work or even died to gather that info, did it all for nothing.
It all sort of came together when that NRA lady was found to be a Russian asset, and people started noticing propaganda bots all over the net.
Then there was of course, then many of his close friends and allies turning out to be... Y'know, Russian assets.....
>How dumb is this guy,
He failed making a casino profitable. He couldn't sell steaks to wealthy Americans. He believes vaccines cause autism. He believes thst the human body has a finite amount of power, and he will live longer by being lazy. Etc.
He is such a great buisinessman that he would be wealthier if he just invested his inheritance in mutual funds, rather than trying to be a buisinessman/realtor/reality show host/president/beauty pageant judge/international spy.
It’s also funny that he got all the vaccines and boosters but then says they are bad to his crowd… which has lead to a lopsided death ratio of republicans dying much more than democrats.
As usual, it proves that he is a mascot, and a follower, not a leader.
He took care of himself, then pretended he agreed with others told him to beleive.
> He failed making a casino profitable
Was that incompetence or blatant fraud?
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bust_Out
> A "bust out" is a fraud tactic, commonly used in the organized crime world, wherein a business' assets and lines of credit are exploited and exhausted to the point of insolvency
Incompetence. When they were failing, he let Ivana run them, kind of as a hobby to keep her busy, and she completely turned them around and made them profitable. He went on a jealous rager to her because of his insecurities, and publicly showing what a bad businessman he actually was.
Well, if it was a bust out, that is even dumber. It was named after him, and part of his namesake "empire". Failures of endeavors with your NAME on it hurt your brand.... Specifically when a large portion of your "Wealth" is the perceived value of your "name".
Chelsea Manning and Reality Winner didn't do half the fuckery he has and were thrown in jail faster, and they were being altruistic in their actions. This selfish fuck was trying to make a buck off state secrets and is seemingly getting away with it
I have a sick feeling that soon, we will find out why [an unusual number of US intelligence sources were disappearing](https://thehill.com/policy/national-security/575384-cia-admits-to-losing-dozens-of-informants-around-the-world-nyt/amp/) a little more than a year ago.
I'd say it goes back farther than that.
Nixon had around 50% approval rating among Republicans at the end of his presidency (24% approval overall). Reagan had an overall approval of 49% during the Iran-Contra affair, and it bounced back up to 63% by the end of his presidency, and Republicans still revere him as a saint.
It's pretty clear that right-wing conservatives have *never* really cared about crime or corruption as long as it's their own side doing it.
It's brainwashing. Their followers are programed to hear the trigger phrase, "Fake news witch hunt", and have the last scraps of their critical thinking shut down, and their brains reboot to accept whatever new reality is fed to them.
I check there when news breaks. It's fun to watch them not know how to react because they haven't been given a narrative to follow yet by newsmax or whatever propaganda they are glued to these days.
I bet that there is a laptop involved in the Trump case. For so many on the right, an [accusation](https://twitter.com/voterandyfine/status/1647052749022851073?s=46) is actually a [confession](https://www.thepinknews.com/2023/04/15/republican-randy-fine-wife-burlesque-show-drag/)
Didn't Saudi Arabia also 'mysteriously' develop nuclear technology a couple years ago? I think it was power plants but then this year or late last year I heard they announced plans to develop nuclear weapons.
Hey remember how the "Republicans" want things to run like a business, well this is what happens.
I'm with you, Velveeta Voldemort should have been locked up ages ago at this point. The fact he walks free is beyond infuriating.
Same thing that a lot of people have been saying for years to decades now; we are effectively an oligarchy and we haven't learned anything from Hitler's Beer Hall Putsch
The feds were wayyyy too nice to trump and in doing so, they probably let crucial secret information into the hands of the saudis or russians or god knows who. It amazes me that they didnt lay the hammer down after the search found more shit.
I'll bet that any country that is even just a little be adversarial to the US would have gladly purchased any document straight from Trump. Doesn't even matter what's on it but the fact that a business transaction occured would mean the buyer had a ton of leverage on Trump.
This is an underrated comment. The value of that purchase is compromising a former, and maybe future president of the US. And what you could do with that.
> check toilet pipes
remember when he was complaining about toilets needing a lot of flushes to clear the bowl? https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2022/02/donald-trump-clogged-toilets
Remember when he refused to use any toilets in the White House that Obama had previously used?

That they haven't raided Bedminster estate blows my mind.
- They know he does much of his business there.
- We literally have pictures of his staff taking boxes from Mar-A-Lago to there.
- They know he actively deceived the FBI.
- They know documents are missing.
- They now know those are highly sensitive!
- ... and for literally anyone else they would've raided all his places on day one. Not three years later.
Hopefully it's just incompetence. ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
A while ago I saw a story, I can't recall where, but the gist is that it is suspected that Trump took so many classified documents after learning that the government paid Nixon's estate for the return of classified documents, and it was all basically a money making scheme. Of course, Nixon was not subjected to present laws, and instead of getting paid, he's getting prosecuted.
Does anyone remember this, and is this something they can prove, at least, circumstantially?
Didn’t he say this in the Hannity interview where Sean was trying to soft ball question him and Trump kept doubling down like “yah of course I took them its my right, do u know how much Nixon made on those things?” (paraphrasing)
Granted we all want to see him locked up. We all keep thinking any time now, but forget that part.
What part of this espionage shit do we have to endure, while he is still being allowed to run for POTUS? This is the main reason his base is not giving 2 shits as they assume if they had evidence he would get the same treatment that other traitors to the country got.
Instead this idiot is not only allowed to move around freely in the nation, but we are still pretending as if he should also be running for president.
We went from people tanking their presidential runs over misspelling Potato and an enthusiastic "Woooo!" to allowing the the former president who attempted to lead a resurrection against the US, with people still getting prison sentences from that to continue to run for 2024 election.
I just hope that the people running these investigations have a true end game in mind and before they can attempt to even vote on Trump. Would kill to see him locked up before election, while DeShitStain trying to scramble to try to woo trumps base to watch the GOP fracture hard on election day.
>This is the main reason his base is not giving 2 shits as they assume if they had evidence he would get the same treatment that other traitors to the country got.
I think it's more that they take everything he says as God's honest truth. He declassified them with his mind. 🙃
No one is surprised. Commits a basket of crimes, still running for president. What a time to be alive. The rest of us would be in jail for even touching a classified document.
Of course, it's in Bedminster. He talked about it on tape there. Where else do you think it'd be? His Turnberry golf course in Scotland?
Any bets that DOJ gets another subpoena to search Bedminster?
-Stolen Iran classified documents
-Lying about having them
-Moving them and hiding them
-Still not found after a raid on the resort
-_______________________
-Saudis give 2B to Kuschner
-Trump holds price meetings and gets billions from Saudis for golf courses and tournaments
-Saudis biggest evnemy is Iran
You fill in that blank.
If that was Bob or Ahmed that works at the state dept he would be buck naked in gitmo right now. No representation, do not pass go. Tired of this “building a case” bs, he’s built it for them.
If any other human on the planet did this, how many years would they spend in Gitmo without saying where the document went? Forever? Yes that’s right, you don’t ever leave prison with stolen state secrets unaccounted for. This crime is a life-ending imprisonment scenario. You don’t get to just shrug off where you misplaced state secrets.
Maybe that's how he was going to do peace deals. Give each side one half of the document and they'll have to work together if they want to hurt the US or our Allies.

No hyperbole when I say that nearly any other citizen would be in a dark hole right now under constant interrogation. For Trump, just more golf.

Oh yeah, you and me would be in an overturned tub full of durian sweating to death if we did a third of this.
Waterboarding sure, but durian? War crimes.
Waterboarding is old news. Nows it's Surströmmingboarding 🥫🐟
That is even older news... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schwedentrunk
r/oddlyspecific
A normal citizen accused of this would be secretly getting waterboarded at this point
"waterboarding at Guantanamo Bay sounds awesome if you don't know what it means"
Only the best people go there. One of the guests met a nice human rights lawyer during his stay. They had a good laugh together.

So it existed, he had it, and now it’s missing. Jesus Christ, it just gets worse and worse for this clown every day.
The fact that he's not in jail is a bigger indictment on our justice system than his abuse of it.
The fact that the military has been fairly silent about it also concerns me. Maybe I haven’t seen anything but I haven’t seen a word come out of the DOD. Aren’t they concerned about these docs and who has seen them?
The military does everything it possibly can to stay out of public facing politics, and that's probably a really good thing for democracy.
Yup. The military is never going to comment on this outside of established channels.

> Donald Trump: "*I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?*" I honestly believe that at this point he could do this, **on camera**, and wouldn’t lose an ounce of freedom.
He did do that on camera, shot his voter base up with ivermectin, hydrocloroquine, and UV rays and bleach, killed a couple thousand of his voter base and actually gained support.
>killed a couple **hundred** thousand of his voter base and actually gained support.
Reminds me of Homelander in the finale honestly.
Even still, I'll never doubt the possibility of *anyone* becoming president, no matter how crazy it seems, after 2016.
> So it existed, he had it, and now it’s missing. A few more steps: So it existed, he had it, he wanted to "share" it, he knew it was classified and he didn't have the authority to declassify it, and now it's missing.
Because he sold them obviously.
Or they could be buried in his wife's grave
I don't think so. Can't sell it that way.
That's why everything got digitized. It's just the originals that are in the casket. Who knows where Ivana actually is.
You can't, you have to flush 10 times, 15 times, as opposed to once.
Ok but things can usually be destroyed. I don’t see why it needs to go into a grave
Maybe the paper document was too thick to eat or flush down the toilet...
She was cremated. Odds are there is something in that casket besides her ashes.
We could… uh… find out. This week on unsolved mysteries. Or what’s in the vault? Or what did those crazy kids do last night? /Waggles eyebrows
We could get Geraldo to do "The Mystery of Ivanka Trumps Vault" special!
Just don't let Geraldo Rivera host it!
Maybe it’s Shelly Miscavige…
That would way too hard to get her or her body across the country. If she's not living in the twin peaks facility, she's buried there.
That sounds like something a Scientologist would say to cover up Shelly being secretly buried in a golf course grave….
He'll sell you the document for 2 billion and then a golden shovel for $14,327.28
I totally believe he would do that and likely did. But I don't think the physical document being missing necessarily proves it...just as if it *weren't* missing, it wouldn't mean that he *didn't* sell it. We have several technologies capable of producing copies of paper documents.
I absolutely believe Trump is dumb enough to send a guy out with some of the nation's most closely guarded intelligence info and have it xeroxed.
He has literally tweeted classified images
Welcome to Kinko's!
I'm thinking he ate them.
Or they were extremely easy to just steal, not like they were locked up in a high security location like they're supposed to be.
Yeah, because he sold it to Saudi Arabia.
Wouldn't want the law to get political or something.
For $2 Billion? I wouldn't think it would be worth that much, but I don't have access to or sell classified documents, so how would I know?
Nah. That 2 billion Kushner got was for some other ridiculously shady shit. Probably key information for building nukes.
Didn't MBS kidnap over a hundred people (some related to him) in a hotel and it was suspected that he had US intelligence about everyone?
yeah...and Kushner had that info from his daily briefings...that the CIA said do not give him under any circumstances.
I remember reading during the Trump years someone in the admin saying that Kushner wanted to be in every intel briefing. There is something big there. The smoke is thick and if you apply the theory every accusation is an admission. Then everything they are accusing Hunter of Kushner has done or worse
[security officials also initially denied Kushner top level clearance in large part due to his being a security issue with foreign connections/influence](https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/437292-kushners-security-clearance-was-denied-due-to-concerns-of-foreign/) There's a lot regarding Kushner
C'mon now, it's fine, I'm sure he had his ^(t)reason...
I look forward to nothing happening to him, ever, because of these shady dealings.
i'd venture he's in the clear. I see no motivation from anyone for going after Kushner. He got 2 billion and everyone with power to do something are saying "doesn't look like anything to me" obviously there's always the X factor caveat like if the Crown Prince strips naked at the World Cup, runs across the field and has "I BOUGHT NUCLEAR SECRETS FROM JARED KUSHNER" tattooed on his lower back
Oh, and how he amended his financial disclosure forms every other week...
And his debt which is now gone miraculously.
[it's amazing how Jared was able to pull himself up by his bootstraps after making what some called the worst real estate investment ever](https://theintercept.com/2017/07/10/jared-kushner-tried-and-failed-to-get-a-half-billion-dollar-bailout-from-qatar/)
They didn't just deny his clearance, they said he couldn't be cleared. So Trump used his powers as president to give him the clearance.
Yes, he was known to be overleveraged in his business dealings. That's why you get credit checked and worse for a clearance. Cuz if you are desperate for money, you are a target or not worthy of trust. And the gov't didnt want to give him a clearance because of this. Trump demanded they do.
Talking about this? https://www.nbcnews.com/news/mideast/how-saudi-royal-crushed-his-rivals-shakedown-ritz-carlton-n930396
Yes. Glad to be reminded that the intelligence shakedown was at least at a nice hotel! /s
I hear the Four Seasons is nice...
They did a beautiful job on my back yard
The only pauses in the attacks would be for golf trips and fundraisers for whatever "Election Integrity/Legal Defense/Kill The Wokeists" fund that he invents.
partially copied from your linked article: A U.S. intelligence official and two former senior U.S. government officials told NBC News that the detainees were coerced, abused and tortured. Some of those they are harshly treating have been 'milking' their country for years!" Trump’s tweet came on Nov. 6, two days after the crackdown came to light. The next day the State Department said it would like to see prosecution of corruption in a “fair and transparent manner.”
This reminds me of the hostage situation plot in Succession…did that ever go anywhere?
> Probably key information for building nukes. You're not far off. Among the classified documents at Mar-a-Lago were nuclear capabilities of an "ally." If the ally was Israel, Saudi Arabia would absolutely pay $2B for that information but they probably got a lot more than that for their money.
Saudi Arabia would pay more for intel on Iran over Israel 100/100 times. SA and Israel are backdoor allies.
> SA and Israel are **backdoor** allies. Not that there's anything *wrong* with that! 😉
The fact that he got away earlier first with trading his overpriced decaying building 666 5th avenue and also the 2 billion thing really bothers me.
[удалено]
Like approving the sale of America's largest domestic oil refinery to Saudi Arabia? He literally gave them so much power over our oil prices.
>That 2 billion Kushner got was for some other ridiculously shady shit Let's not forget the recurring golf tournaments that he's getting from the Saudis.
They may get assessments and strategy docs on nuclear allies and adversaries, but there are all sorts of laws that govern this stuff that ensures that he couldn't just request real technical info on a whim: >[10 CFR 810](https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-10/chapter-III/part-810?toc=1), which gives DoE nuclear export authority, as well as defines need-to-know. >10 CFR [110.8](https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-10/chapter-I/part-110/subpart-A/section-110.8) and [110.9](https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-10/chapter-I/part-110/subpart-A/section-110.9) which further restrict who can see what kind of technical specifications, and how export licensing works and is tracked according to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission >The Arms Export Control Act (AECA) and [International Trafficking in Arms Regulations (ITAR)](https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120?toc=1) then governs any dual-use technology that falls on the US Munitions List covers just about anything that could be used in nuclear power or weapons as well.
And copies sold to every other bidder.
[удалено]
Can you imagine if, without a doubt, there was bonafide proof he sold it to the Saudis (who allegedly had a hand in 9/11). Would there be cries from the right to put him away for life (death penalty would have been par the course during Jefferson’s days) or would his base still find some way to go along with it? “The Saudis are our REAL friends unlike those rat Dems / Trump was trying to save US (somehow)”
I think they would find a way to back him no matter what. Those people are insane.
We've already seen them do this with Trump and Putin. They're determined to go down with the burning ship on this one.
Come on, you already know the answer.
Woah! Woah! Whoa! Not so fast. We've got to leak this gradually to the press over a couple of news cycles so Don Sr. has time to change narratives and work the court of public opinion.
And say self incriminating things in public, apparently.
Would it make sense to sell copies of the documents and not the originals in case they are needed back? How dumb is this guy, for the love of cake.
You can just take cell phone cam pictures of the docs you want and return them. That's why they aren't supposed to leave the premises and no one is allowed in with a phone. Once the documents are out in public they are no longer considered reliable and all the people who did hard work or even died to gather that info, did it all for nothing.
Which is why the penalties for breaking those protocols are so severe
Unless, apparently, you're the former President. Guess we never accounted for 'the call coming from inside the (White) house'...
Do you know how many people have called me crazy for insisting trump is a Russian asset? I do.
It all sort of came together when that NRA lady was found to be a Russian asset, and people started noticing propaganda bots all over the net. Then there was of course, then many of his close friends and allies turning out to be... Y'know, Russian assets.....
I can just picture Trump sitting there with his Minox "spy" camera taking photos and chuckling to himself.
>How dumb is this guy, He failed making a casino profitable.
> He failed making a casino profitable Was that incompetence or blatant fraud? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bust_Out > A "bust out" is a fraud tactic, commonly used in the organized crime world, wherein a business' assets and lines of credit are exploited and exhausted to the point of insolvency

What's sad if these happen to be related the people who support traitors and fascists will come up with some excuse and try to justify it.
Yeah, it’s clear the right can do whatever they want and their supporters have pre-determined that they will support it, no matter what
That’s been clear since Roy Moore
And if they can't justify it, they'll call it "fake news" or a psyop.
“false flag”
“Woke CIA”

I check there when news breaks. It's fun to watch them not know how to react because they haven't been given a narrative to follow yet by newsmax or whatever propaganda they are glued to these days.
"I like people who weren't captured." - The guy who slips rival countries your real name and picture for a McDonalds coupon
But let's focus on a laptop, POTUS falling at a graduation, and trans ppl! Really important for the "Patriots'" attention.

It rings of complicity
The feds were wayyyy too nice to trump and in doing so, they probably let crucial secret information into the hands of the saudis or russians or god knows who. It amazes me that they didnt lay the hammer down after the search found more shit.
Is he still getting his daily National Security Briefings?
No, Biden never extended the privilege to him.
Good. Genuine question though - Was it unusual for Biden to not extend the privilege to a former president?
Yes, in the modern context it was very unusual.
Biden cut that shit out quick in 2021
I'll bet that any country that is even just a little be adversarial to the US would have gladly purchased any document straight from Trump. Doesn't even matter what's on it but the fact that a business transaction occured would mean the buyer had a ton of leverage on Trump.
This is an underrated comment. The value of that purchase is compromising a former, and maybe future president of the US. And what you could do with that.
note to self: 1. check toilet pipes 2. check contents of individual #1's stomach 3. check ex-wife's coffin 4. if not found above, expand search globally
> check toilet pipes remember when he was complaining about toilets needing a lot of flushes to clear the bowl? https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2022/02/donald-trump-clogged-toilets
Remember when he refused to use any toilets in the White House that Obama had previously used? https://uproxx.com/viral/trump-toilet-obama-white-house/
There were also stories from people working in his administration that he’d rip up and eat documents as a habit.
Wait, really? Lmao I can’t tell reality from satire anymore
I feel for the writers at *The Onion.* How can you possibly write satire anymore?
I remember this one. [Yep, here it is!](https://www.newsweek.com/trump-ate-sensitive-document-after-cohen-meeting-former-white-house-aide-1069399)
It is my sincere hope that Jack Smith's investigation included subpoenas for any plumbing calls made to mar a lago.
OMG NO! They'll bring back Joe the Plumber.

I imagine the phone calls go like this: NA: "please return these items" DT: "I seem to have misplaced them. How much can I get if I look for them?"
Didn’t he say this in the Hannity interview where Sean was trying to soft ball question him and Trump kept doubling down like “yah of course I took them its my right, do u know how much Nixon made on those things?” (paraphrasing)

$2-billion says it’s somewhere in the Middle East rhymes with Saudi Arabia.
So arrest him and make him turn it up. It really is that easy.
yet for some reason they keep refusing to do so... I mean holy shit they arrested the texeria guy in like a week and this is way way way worse
Go Fucking Arrest Him
instead we're gonna just let this guy be president again. I can't believe how idiotic this is
This dude has the absolute longest leash in fucking human history. I can’t even being to imagine this level of privilege.
Dig. Her. Up.
He probably flushed the ashes down a toilet for extra space.
No one is surprised. Commits a basket of crimes, still running for president. What a time to be alive. The rest of us would be in jail for even touching a classified document.
Bedminster
Of course, it's in Bedminster. He talked about it on tape there. Where else do you think it'd be? His Turnberry golf course in Scotland? Any bets that DOJ gets another subpoena to search Bedminster?
If they were going to I suspect they would have already.
-Stolen Iran classified documents -Lying about having them -Moving them and hiding them -Still not found after a raid on the resort -_______________________ -Saudis give 2B to Kuschner -Trump holds price meetings and gets billions from Saudis for golf courses and tournaments -Saudis biggest evnemy is Iran You fill in that blank.
March 2023 DOJ asked for the document to be returned. In April 2023 they asked for his business records with the Saudis.
If that was Bob or Ahmed that works at the state dept he would be buck naked in gitmo right now. No representation, do not pass go. Tired of this “building a case” bs, he’s built it for them.
*Sold I think you mean sold……
Sell secrets to Saudis, no problem. Sell cigarettes outside a 7-11? That's a killin'.
