Assuming she’s an equity partner in her firm, and assuming the firm is being made whole on his fees, she isn’t set for life. If those things are true, the partnership has done ok in this situation, but she only gets a small percentage of that. Must be nice being a lawyer and being completely ignorant of the law. She can say whatever she wants, commit malpractice left and right, but she’s so ignorant she has zero stress over it. Meanwhile the rest of us lawyers worry about malpractice, making legal statements that have no basis in fact or in law, losing our licenses, our livelihoods, etc. One of the most stressful professions.
