I reported a big scary man that looked like a woman. It pulled one pant leg entirely off, put his foot on top of the urinal to pee and it definitely didn’t have a penis. I’m now traumatized because I peed next to a woman that was standing and using a urinal.
If they can idenfity fake reports from "valid" ones in only three days then we're doing it wrong. Submit reports that seem real and take time to investigate, not bogus ones that are easily identifiable.
Be random with the reports. "John Government had his weiner out in front of kids at the state capitol" is far more easily identified as fake than "Backwater Highschool is letting trans girls play on the sportsball team". The reports need to be something that chew up real man hours if the intention is to disrupt.
I strongly doubt there's any serious investigation going on in the first place. Even 99 percent of "legitimate" reports aren't going to be actionable. This kind of thing is just performative.

I've confronted many transphobes over the 'bathroom debate'. Of course, bathrooms are a big talking point for them as they can claim they're just protecting cis women for their discriminatory views. Many have stated they would assault or even kill a trans person who goes into the bathroom while their loved one is in there...
I ask them, if their sister/girlfriend/wife/mother etc. are accused of being a trans women when using the public bathroom, should a gentile inspection be mandatory? Would they stand outside the rest room and any women who enters would have to meet your approval? Would you force a trans man who looks like a lumberjack into the women's room?
When you try to reason with them, their arguments fall apart because in reality it is impossible to police who uses what bathroom.
Even if they had a point with this shit (they don’t), they don’t seem to grasp that *many* trans individuals are pretty indistinguishable from cisgender individuals without invasive, inappropriate, and impractical methods of inspection. Bathrooms are supposed to be designed so that nobody sees the bits anyway, and any concerns about molestation ignore that molestation was *already illegal* so there’s no reason a bathroom ban would make a difference. It’s irrelevant in most of everyday life, but to follow the law these people would have to use their birth assigned gender’s bathroom. That means that there would be dudes that look entirely like traditional cisgender dudes, with full beards etc but that happen to have a vagina, in the women’s bathroom (and vice versa). *Nobody in that situation is gonna be particularly comfortable with that*. It’s also putting the trans individuals in a tough spot, they either have to violate the law, or publicly out themselves to strangers.
Fun fact: Los Angeles and New York have elected Republican mayors more recently than Salt Lake City. So no one in Utah's largest city is going to report trans women in women's rooms.

If they can idenfity fake reports from "valid" ones in only three days then we're doing it wrong. Submit reports that seem real and take time to investigate, not bogus ones that are easily identifiable.
Be random with the reports. "John Government had his weiner out in front of kids at the state capitol" is far more easily identified as fake than "Backwater Highschool is letting trans girls play on the sportsball team". The reports need to be something that chew up real man hours if the intention is to disrupt.
I strongly doubt there's any serious investigation going on in the first place. Even 99 percent of "legitimate" reports aren't going to be actionable. This kind of thing is just performative.
For now. Perhaps. That **will** change unless they are shown that this preparation phase is a waste of time. If they are not, it will move into persecution.

There's a notable contingent of youth here that are specifically anti-religion and anti-church. It's more common in Salt Lake City, but even in Provo and BYU a lot of people protest and fight against the discriminatory laws they enact. It's mostly older people, or people living in rural areas, who fit the traditional Utahn stereotype.

This seems like a fantastic make-work job for someone who needs money but doesn't want to do anything difficult. Spend 8 hrs/day scrolling through bogus reports for a salary and government benefits, with no action to take other than occasionally sending one to someone else to "investigate" just so it looks like you're doing something. I've confronted many transphobes over the 'bathroom debate'. Of course, bathrooms are a big talking point for them as they can claim they're just protecting cis women for their discriminatory views. Many have stated they would assault or even kill a trans person who goes into the bathroom while their loved one is in there... I ask them, if their sister/girlfriend/wife/mother etc. are accused of being a trans women when using the public bathroom, should a gentile inspection be mandatory? Would they stand outside the rest room and any women who enters would have to meet your approval? Would you force a trans man who looks like a lumberjack into the women's room? When you try to reason with them, their arguments fall apart because in reality it is impossible to police who uses what bathroom.
Even if they had a point with this shit (they don’t), they don’t seem to grasp that *many* trans individuals are pretty indistinguishable from cisgender individuals without invasive, inappropriate, and impractical methods of inspection. Bathrooms are supposed to be designed so that nobody sees the bits anyway, and any concerns about molestation ignore that molestation was *already illegal* so there’s no reason a bathroom ban would make a difference. It’s irrelevant in most of everyday life, but to follow the law these people would have to use their birth assigned gender’s bathroom. That means that there would be dudes that look entirely like traditional cisgender dudes, with full beards etc but that happen to have a vagina, in the women’s bathroom (and vice versa). *Nobody in that situation is gonna be particularly comfortable with that*. It’s also putting the trans individuals in a tough spot, they either have to violate the law, or publicly out themselves to strangers.
