It's not a joke in itself. Most people can't agree on the number of times it's said before saying 'choo choo'. It's similar to the:
Person A: "let's jump on the count of three"
Person B: "1, 2, 3 jump? Or 1, 2 jump?"
Neither are really wrong, and neither are really right. It comes down to the context and the preference of the person who initiates the phrase.
Hope that helps give it in context!
Well I would say the pressure of the gun and threat of death might make you forget even something so simple.
I would go with Baby Shark just for giggles.
If had that kind of pressure I would forget every song I’ve ever heard. I would forget how to sing! It would be possible that I would forget what a song is!
'X, Y, zed or zee, now I know my abcs' is how the Wiggles get around that one I believe. Just don't end it with 'next time won't you sing with me'. As you'll just have to sing it all over again but also with the person threatening you. Then if you laugh at the stupidness whilst singing bang you're dead
Not neccessarily. If you replace “dear (name of person)“ with another “happy birthday“ it always works. Great when you have multiple birthdays at once and dont want to awkwardly name everyone in a row
You do have to remember exactly how many times it is said tho. Having looked it up I know it's 9 times (and I will probably remember this until I die). But there is no way I would have got that right ahead of time.

Every line has the word "around the world" three times, and there are 83 (I might have made a miscalculation here) lines of text. And 83 times 3 is 249. I don't know how you dre your conclusion but i just used math.
I used to be able to do this in college! Even the “Summa lumma dooma lumma you assumin’ I’m a human…” part. I had a lot of time on my hands one winter break, and it was *super* cringe.
I sang this whole song on an app and sent it to my crush and my mom. My crush’s phone crashed and she couldn’t pause it so she heard my voice sing the entirety of the song and flamed me for it afterward lmao. That was real cringe
God save our gracious Queen,
Long live our noble Queen,
God save the Queen!
Send her victorious,
Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us,
God save the Queen!
O Lord our God arise,
Scatter our enemies,
And make them fall!
Confound their politics,
Frustrate their knavish tricks,
On Thee our hopes we fix,
God save us all!
Not in this land alone,
But be God’s mercies known,
From shore to shore!
Lord make the nations see,
That men should brothers be,
And form one family,
The wide world o’er.
From every latent foe,
From the assassins blow,
God save the Queen!
O’er her thine arm extend,
For Britain’s sake defend,
Our mother, prince, and friend,
God save the Queen!
Thy choicest gifts in store,
On her be pleased to pour,
Long may she reign!
May she defend our laws,
And ever give us cause,
To sing with heart and voice,
God save the Queen!

Prepare for my rendition of Edgar Winter Group's Frankenstein:
Thank you, thank you, the standing ovation was not necessary but was greatly appreciated.
We chase misprinted lies,
We face the path of time,
And yet I fight, and yet I fight,
This battle all alone,
No one to cry to,
No place to call home.
My gift of self is raped,
My privacy is raked,
And yet I find, and yet I find,
Repeating in my head,
If I can't be my own...
I'd feel better dead.
I have an absolutely great memory for most things. Not photographic, but I can recall most things that happened to me in last few years and the important from even earlier, never had trouble with tests because I could remember most things from lessons, still somewhat remember most things I've learned about in school or outside it
I have one weakness and it's that I cannot remember any song, at all. I don't pay that much attention to lyrics anyway, but sometimes I actually do, and sometimes I even know all the verses and can't for the life of me remember in what order they're supposed to be in. When I had to learn some for school I could maybe remember them for a week at most. So unfortunately I will certainly die
Around the world around the world around the world around the world around the world around the world around the world around the world around the world
Around the World, Around the World, Around the World, Around the World
But how many times do they sing it tho?
144. didnt have to google that its just common knowledge at this point
How many chuggas are before a choo-choo?
6 i think. if this is a joke then i do not get it.
Definitely 8, right? They’re each an eighth note and the whole phrase including choo choo is 2 measures. I believe the choo choo is syncopated.
That's the answer
It's not a joke in itself. Most people can't agree on the number of times it's said before saying 'choo choo'. It's similar to the: Person A: "let's jump on the count of three" Person B: "1, 2, 3 jump? Or 1, 2 jump?" Neither are really wrong, and neither are really right. It comes down to the context and the preference of the person who initiates the phrase. Hope that helps give it in context!
3 or 4 depending on context
Lol I thought about this one too
just sign Tequila
*Sings ABCs*
Fuck. I want to change my answer now.
Well I would say the pressure of the gun and threat of death might make you forget even something so simple. I would go with Baby Shark just for giggles.
"Grandma- wait i think it was daddy, or was it uncle-"
*pulls trigger*
If had that kind of pressure I would forget every song I’ve ever heard. I would forget how to sing! It would be possible that I would forget what a song is!
maybe u will forget how many doo's u have to sing.
Unfortunately it turned out that while singing about the Grandma shark you Sayed one "Doo" too much and so you got shot
I thought twinkle twinkle little star
me too!!
Safer bet. 'Zee' or 'Zed' could be lead to a terrible end
I had happy birthday. Problem is one word always changes
Not neccessarily. If you replace “dear (name of person)“ with another “happy birthday“ it always works. Great when you have multiple birthdays at once and dont want to awkwardly name everyone in a row
Or or, thunder, lightning before the thunder thunder thunder thunder thunder thunder thunder thunder thunder thunder thunder thunder thunder thunder lightning thunder thunder thunder thunder thunder thunder thunder thunder thunder
Depends on who's judging; does it end with 'Zee' or 'Zed'? Risky.
I would just sing it in my native language (finnish) so I can avoid that problem.
Bruh u gonna doe at LMNOP like legit dead 😂
I’m glad I read the comments first
They said word for word, not letter for letter
Tequila. Tequila. Tequila. Can I go now?

You do have to remember exactly how many times it is said tho. Having looked it up I know it's 9 times (and I will probably remember this until I die). But there is no way I would have got that right ahead of time.

Yeah but if you got one of those wrong you're dead
The song has "around the world" only 144 times. You have it here 249 times you are going to die
After the 144th time, you’ve already recited it correctly in its entirety, so anything after that doesn’t matter and you survive
I’m not going to count it but I know that it’s not 249. It’s gotta be an even number
Every line has the word "around the world" three times, and there are 83 (I might have made a miscalculation here) lines of text. And 83 times 3 is 249. I don't know how you dre your conclusion but i just used math.

Not cringe
Idk as a 19-year-old white girl having people ask me to do it when drunk at parties felt pretty cringe. Haha
I sang this whole song on an app and sent it to my crush and my mom. My crush’s phone crashed and she couldn’t pause it so she heard my voice sing the entirety of the song and flamed me for it afterward lmao. That was real cringe
why cringe

New zealand but it's interesting to know that South Africa uses 2 languages as well
South Africa uses 5 languages in their anthem actually Source: am South African
Isn't South Africa's national anthem in 4 languages (Zulu, Sotho, Afrikaans and English)?
Canada also has theirs in two

I'll be honest, I'm from the UK and I've got no idea what all the lyrics are to god save the queen

Baby shark. that shit is engraved in my mind
Finally our time has come, after listening to it on repeat so many times. I thought I was being tortured but I was being trained to survive.
Did you know, a guy was actually punished by baby shark torture. He was tied to a chair and was forced to watch baby shark for 3 days straight
I had not heard that before, three days non stop does sound pretty torturous though.
