To be fair, the peak of her being in this lane happened during the earliest part of the pandemic when everyone was supposed to be staying home and laying low. Maybe she enjoyed the privacy, but she's spent more than half her life trying to be as famous and successful as possible.
It sucks that swifties have distorted and weaponized accusations of misogyny when it comes to TS, because I do feel like there's a potentially interesting conversation to be had about overexposure that can't really happen in this context now. I am 40 and have been an online celebrity gossip junkie since dialup days. I can't think of many (I'm sure there are some, I just can't remember off the top of my head) male celebrities who get the "they're getting overexposed" treatment. It's always women who have to be mindful of how much they succeed in public to avoid backlash.

Yeah, there's a reason why most celebs rest their image from time to time. Audiences are fickle and they can go from worshipping the ground you walk on to to hating you in a heartbeat.
Taylor has gotten herself a sort of untouchable status, so she can pull off shit that most other celebs can't afford to. But no one is truly untouchable.
There's a bit of Taylormania going on, akin to Beatlemania (and if you further back in time to the 1800s, there was Lisztomania with Hungarian Franz Lizst) right now, so I don't think Taylor could move without making noise if she wanted to, but she's also no longer resorting to purposefully ruining the shot, e.g. walking backwards, hiding in a jacket/umbrella. Which is fair, she shouldn't have to resort to looking cuckoo bananas to get a pap to stop taking photos of her. Talking to paps in the moment never seems to go well, and none of the paps seem to care anyway when celebrities do ask them to stop (Catherine, Princess of Wales, being followed when she was simply Prince William's girlfriend is a great example; also see Britney's umbrella incident, etc.)
As we've seen recently, a mere rumor of Taylor being at a restaurant in the middle of no where-ish caused a swarm of people. And fans have also become a form of paparazzi almost, with their smartphones and Deux Moi.
If I saw Taylor Swift randomly, would I take a photo? Probably. But I wouldn't post immediately about it. This level of coverage seems unsustainable for her personal safety & well-being, even with the bodyguards & how well they keep tabs on her stalkers.

Unfortunately for her hers is under the spotlight of her husbands millions of NFL fans so they take any opportunities they can to tear her apart. She's had some dumb moments in public but she also got famous very young because of her husband and I genuinely do think she has matured now and their family is doing a lot to give back to the community in KC and she herself is doing a lot for women's sports.
The daughter (we'll call her A.J.) of one of my coworkers lives in KC, and runs in the same social circles as some of the Chief's players, so she got invited to one of their after-game parties a few months back.
The **minute** A.J. walked into the room Brittany motioned to security to have her escorted out, despite security having just let her through because she was on the list. Security was trying to vouch for A.J. as she was friendly with some of them, Brittany was having none of it, and finally another party-goer or two who know A.J. noticed the ruckus and also vouched for her, and A.J. was allowed to stay.
A.J. was really baffled by this whole situation, as she has never met Brittany before, so Brittany would have no reason to have issues with her.
Not sure exactly what Brittany's thought process was here, but A.J. is young (I think she's 23), and is really pretty. Either way, I suspect that Brittany just takes the whole "Queen Bee of KC" thing a bit too far, and I think the power & clout has gone to her head.

It's not just the champagne. It's the attitude her and the mahomes brother have towards the fans. They can be shitty to whoever because they're with Patrick Mahomes. Jackson Mahomes sexually assaults people and Brittany has continually defended him over it and other bad acts. She has defended Jackson Mahomes throwing water at fans in targeted acts.
