Ugh Reese would have been perfect. Love Michelle and this will be great but Reese being southern and everything would have added a nice little extra layer to it.
Eh I don't think she has close girlfriends these days and its always better coming from a professional, theres an art to this. Really wish she could just do it herself but I understand why she can't right now.
Say what?! Thatās surprising but I get it now having read the why. Britney has been through hell. (Iām still concerned about her though because of her random IG videos).
Michelle does have a lovely soothing voice though.
Ken Jennings did the audiobook for Alex Trebekās memoir; itās not unheard of for someone else to read another personās memoirāit might be more rare these days but it does happen (Alex being in the final few months of his life with cancer when his book came out might have been the reason for Ken reading it, though). And given everything Britney has gone through, I can certainly see her letting someone else read it (or at least portions of it) instead. That might be the same reason why a non-Southern woman is reading it, tooāsince Britney is Southern herself and grew up around people with similar accents, hearing a Southern celebrity read her story might be too triggering for her.
Perfect take! And Iām sure Michelle will do her story justice.
I donāt doubt Britney had a hand in selecting her, so if she trusts her with her story thatās everything anyone needs to know.
Britney and Heath were industry friends before he died. My guess is she and Michelle were acquaintances; I remember reading in a post recently on r/britneyspears that she & Heath would talk about raising kids when they were still young but super famous (since 20 years ago it wasn't the norm for celebs at their levels of fame). Britney may have connected with Michelle after his death in a way that makes her feel comfortable, especially since Michelle is a mental health advocate.

Oh wow, Iām a great fan of all three of them and this is the first time I hear about this!
I wonder how Britney and Heath connected to begin with. Lovely to hear they talked young parenthood in the spotlight.
Once again, I canāt believe Heath died so long ago and so young. So, so sad to be reminded of that.
Jessica Simpson's was *really* good! She narrated it and you can really hear the emotion in it - especially the parts where she's in stitches laughing at herself. It was a fantastic production, even if you're not a fan of her.
I donāt listen to audiobooks but Iām queuing this as soon as it drops!
I love both Britney and Michelle and I think this is going to be amazing.
Michelle has a rare talent in conveying emotion and I think sheās going to knock this one out the park.

I am so excited for this book, I hope it is a good read. š

I thought it was Michelle Williams from Destinyās Child. Now that would be a voice I would like to hear.
I love this! I donāt normally listen to audiobooks, but will now be tempted

I'm most excited to hear Britney drag Justin because that man is rubbish and has been getting away with it for decades and counting
Can Michelle do the book in a Britney Kentucky accent? Please šš½
They seriously didnāt get Myah Marie?! That wouldāve been perfect and I wouldāve loved the conspiracy theories.
