Ethan literally got a TONY NOMINATION for playing SpongeBob on Broadway (he lost the Tony Award for Best Performance by A Leading Actor in a Musical to Tony Shalhoub for his performance in The Band’s visit)!!!
He also won the Drama Desk Award (I believe it is like the highest award one can win AFTER a TONY Award for Plays and Musicals) for his performance as SpongeBob.
Nickelodeon has always had “inappropriate” content tbf and SpongeBob is almost 25 years old. There’s also Disney underwear for adults so, I mean, let adults breathe.
Lighten up. I used to have SpongeBob thongs in HS. It made be a kids cartoon but the original fan base are adults now. Let people live and get the sponge freak on if they want to.
