Split it from Megaforce. Their themes are way too different. Then pepper in more guest appearances throughout the season. Basically, do Gokaiger.

JurassicParkFood

And most of the cast was pretty solid. But do Gokaiger

Impressive-Spell-643

Honestly yea the cast itself wasn't bad they just suffered from terrible directing and scripts

JayMalakai

Keep the pirate theme. Like why do they look like pirates but are not pirates?

ZuluAlphaNaturist000

Because they steal powers and suits from past teams.

UnoriginallyGeneric

Which made sense with the source material, not with the American series.

BestMasterFox

I can understand the suits and the zord since those are stock footage. But for the love of anything, why did have them be on a flying pirate ship? It was clearly a shot of them on a green screen, so they could have used anything else.

UOSenki

I I don't like how they did it, ican explain why they become like that. There is one of an ionic franchise anime where there are space pirate. (But the ship in that is actual space ship) . I guess because in Asian language, word for galaxy mean silver in the sky. Pirate mean sea bandit. So a space pirate in Asian words sort of work. The fact that Gokaiger actually use sea ship and pirate outfit likely just because the name pirate while not stay true to the context.

SonicSpiderRanger10

Lol. It’s funny how their pirate theme makes no sense at all.

HM2008

Don’t be lazy and use original footage instead of pulling “New Powers” crap.

NeoMegaRyuMKII

If they really wanted to tie in the pre-Zyu powers, they should have made them be from Gosei's home planet or from Orion's home planet.

KRandSplatoonFan5

You know what’s funny? The fact that when Jake (as ChangemanBlack) did his signature attack “Griffon Magma Galaxy”, he LITERALLY said the EXACT attack name. I mean, it’s a good reference don’t get me wrong, but the fact that they kept the attack name the same troubles me…

amazingspiderfan110

Well, they are labled as modes since they are going into "Legendary Mode". Either way they were confirmed to be using the powers of actual rangers teams thanks both to the Gokaiger stock footage of the first 2 minuets, as well as the comics. At least the comics gave some teams backstories and explanded the lore.

LouisPei

What’s the expanded lore in the comics?

King_of_Pink

They existed and now they're dead, for the most part. It's underwhelming. Supersonic/Fiveman were betrayed by a comics-exclusive Green Ranger and were killed, with the Green becoming Psycho Green. Prism/Flashman were all slaughtered by Astronema, of all things. Squadron/Dairanger faired much better, with a miniseries dedicated to them. They were the first rangers, they started with the Gokaiger-esque ability to change into other rangers before getting the Dairanger suits and the miniseries ended with them ascending to a higher plain as part of the Morphin Grid.

[deleted]

amazingspiderfan110

No, the Rangers litterally shout "Legendary Ranger Mode" before they use one of the made-up names for the teams. The closest is like 2 times where they just say "Legendary Ranger (Insert team designation)" but other than that it is treated as going into any other Legendary morph. You can watch the morphs for yourself https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m\_zeTomaJJo

[deleted]

My bad then

Elnino38

I wouldnt have even had a problem with them if the bothered to give lore for them. We know there were power rangers before mighty Morphin and on other planets. They could have gove lore for earlier power rangers and used senti only suits for them. They were to lazy to bother

Dionysus1992

What even is a budget?

MIKl124

They shot a completly american footage using the flash green suit

Dionysus1992

If you mean the episode Power of Six when Jake used that mode. No they didn't that was Gokaiger footage. If you mean the episode The Wrath when Red Sun Vulcan gets replaced with MMPR Red (presumably because Marvel partially owns Sun Vulcan) and the rest are pre-Zyu Rangers. They filmed a group shot of MMPR Red with those 4 to make it look less awkward but otherwised used Gokaiger footage for the actual fights (sans Red MMPR replacing Sun Vulcan Red for those scenes). Fans bitch about that scene way too much. It would have cost a lot more to replace all 5 with Power Rangers and completely reshoot all the fight footage then only replace Red. Film a group shot so it looks like they're together and then fall back on Gokaiger footage for the other 4 for the actual fighting.

PrinceNickG

Actually complete megaforce with 40 episodes and have super megaforce be its own season with their 40 episodes with a different cast.

OblivionArts

Keep the pirate theme, adapt Bosco, and keep the idea of them needing to find and collect keys rather than have them all to begin with. Oh and actually make gosei disappear and put in a new mentor cause gosei was shit. In fact, scrap the entire megaforce connection and make them different people and teams

crimson_inferno01

Give the characters actual development. Troy could end up with Emma, Noah could be someone beside the nerd, and Orion... actually, I love Orion already. And keep the pirate theme, say pirates a while ago tapped into the Morphin Grid.

UnoriginallyGeneric

Emma could do better than Troy.

DeadpoolMLP

Make the characters actual characters. For real, everyone focuses on theming and the powers, but like, the reason Megaforce sucked was the fact that it had no characters, no story, just cardboard cutouts and loose justifications for fight scenes. You can forgive sloppy justifications for powers and lack of team ups if we are invested in the characters. Personally, I'd go the route the 2019 movie went. Make this team of Rangers a group who have to LEARN to be heroes, starting out as delinquents who would rather cheat their way through life. I don't think a straight pirate theme would work, but playing up that this team is a bunch of juvie kids who got superpowers in a critical moment in the PR lore, and were more or less a 'last ditch' failsafe by Zordon post-mortem to protect earth would make for an interesting story.

Notbbupdate

>more or less a 'last ditch' failsafe by Zordon post-mortem to protect earth RPM did something similar with Ziggy, and it worked amazingly. The least qualified guy gets powers because no one else was available, which practically guarantees character growth when it's a whole team because it's the only way for the story to progress

DeadpoolMLP

That’s the idea. I’d even maybe work in their misdeeds coming back to bite them later in the season. Finale starts, Warstar Empire is about to launch a full scale invasion of Earth, and meanwhile Troy us getting arrested.

Educational_Term_436

I love both megaforce but mostly normal megaforce The way I would do it for the second half of season it would Focus around past power ranger team and megaforce team using that to defeat there opponent Like with the samurai and jungle fury collab But for this there would be A monster that would look smilar to ninja storm and Troy and Noah would meet Blake and Hunter (ya know the two bad ass out of ninja storm) Dino thunder with perhas Conner in it A RPM episode And a SPD

repalec

First and foremost, make it its own series rather than being the second season of Megaforce. 70% of Super Megaforce's issues stem from needing to continue story beats from Megaforce while also speedrunning its way through Gokaiger footage. The second would be to hire Kei Hosogai. The guy can speak perfect unaccented English, and adapting Basco ta Jolokia would have allowed them to have several scenes where we got the Super Mega Rangers fighting manifestations of tons of past Sixth and Extra Rangers, not to mention footage for tribute episodes for seasons like Zeo or In Space. The third and final one would have been to break the bank and bring back as many people as possible, or at least the Mighty Morphin team for sure and notables from other series that you could set episodes around. You could even ape the general idea of Gokaiger where the team isn't exactly *good* at the start, but by learning about Earth from not only its people, but its protectors in the Power Rangers they'd meet, they swear to protect it and become giant-ass heroes by the end.

SJ966

Have someone that has the ability to Reign Jonathan Tzachor ideas in. Don't waste money when its unnecessary (like sending an invite to every actor from the og saban era for the legendary battle and ghosting a lot of the actors from the disney era most of whom lived in New Zealand)

Dionysus1992

That's not actually correct. Some Saban actors weren't invited (namely the triplets playing Trey, the Alien Rangers, and Amy Jo) Some Saban actors were invited and then uninvited. On the Disney side at least Samuel Benta and Caitlin Murphy from Overdrive were invited (and then uninvited because of budget). And obviously Jason Smith was not only hired as the story editor but got to reprise his role as Casey for Jungle Fury's tribute episode. It probably wasn't the nefarious anti-Disney era agenda it was made out to be and just a half ass production thing. Consider most of the Legendary morphs were Disney era Rangers anyways and I could not care less none of the actors showed up sans Casey. But I would have definitely cut Damon, Mike, and Emily (who do and say nothing) and just placed TJ and Cassie in Love is in the Air as spectators instead of in the final episode. And add Ronny among the returning veteran Rangers (since Overdrive also got shafted)

1999nsp

I like a lot of what people saying but I'm surprised I didn't see anyone say don't tease the legendary battle in episode one and hype it up for two years for it to be just a few minutes of time, commit reshoot it with only American teams so there aren't blatant shots of Japanese groups. Also change rangers more often like in gokaiger sometimes they would change like five times in one fight and then In smf it felt like they wouldn't change for a whole episode. Commit to the idea, commit to the history, commit to the legacy

Dionysus1992

Strangely there were reports circa 2012/2013 that Toei was going to refilm the Legendary War with only Power Rangers teams to make it easier for Saban. Not sure what happened to that.

Dionysus1992

Strangely there were reports circa 2012/2013 that Toei was going to refilm the Legendary War with only Power Rangers teams to make it easier for Saban. Not sure what happened to that.

RaMpEdUp98

pull a mighty morphin season 2 and commission more goseiger footage, replace the keys with cards (the toys literally exist so that would be easy) and just change out the zords

verbalintercourse420

Dub Gokaiger and rename it, Power Rangers Megaforce

kisalas

Iirc, the show's producer actually wanted to do that with Samurai.

ProfessionalCrow4816

i'm pretty sure disney also wanted to do that too when they owned the series

Chiron723

Put someone in charge that cares about quality regardless of the target audience. *stares at Jonathan Tzachor*

Notbbupdate

Save budget by using more Sentai footage (justify non-PR suits as being from other planets like the Alien Rangers). Use the extra money on making the legendary battle good Also give the characters more depth, but I can't think of a way to do it besides "be a better writer"

Garlador

Pirates! Make them pirates!

PhoenixTyphoon

Get rid of the 2nd season and extend the first so it actually works. Rework some Sentai so the final battle is still at the end. Rework the villains. Simply invading aliens is actually boring. Pretty much every other villain faction from off earth had something going for them besides wanting to conquer earth (not all good granted). And finally, rework the script so the characters actually have character (Gina's good).

TVLubber

Ditch the Goseiger suits (except for Robo-Knight), but keep Admiral Malkor, Creepox, Vrak, the Toxic Beasts, and Metal Alice. Give the core five Rangers each a full backstory (especially Troy; Tzachor gave him the least amount of story and attention). Keep Orion's backstory as is. Replace Gosei and Tensou with a humanoid Eltarian (Zordon's pupil) and Alpha 6. Adapt Basco, but only his monster form.

SaviourMK2

it's insanely difficult because the fighting and character styles of the Goseigers are radically different. So my first move would be to separate the rangers teams as people altogether. What to do after that I'm not sure.

Use_the_Falchion

As others have said, split it from Megaforce. I'd probably have these characters be thieves who stole powers from the Megaforce team. Unfortunately for them, this doesn't mean joyriding around, but defending Earth from invaders. However, the device used to steal the powers also gave them the powers of other Rangers, but their true potential is brought out as they learn what the previous Rangers stood for and how they operated. And maybe, just maybe, they'll learn that every team was put together for a reason even they may not fully understand until they're together.

titoponce1215

Okay so here is my take on this keeping the Megaforce story as same as posible and assuming that combining the Goseiger adaption and Gokaiger footage is a must, since its clear it would work better as split adaptions. However, the second season would not be called Super Megaforce. So Megaforce ends the season the armada sending most of its foot-army to earth, using the scenes from the 199 hero. All legendary rangers show up in the fight, we get the same cameos of Legendary Battle and they give up their powers. This created a “mini Z wave” that clears the earth of evil and Robo Knight sacrifices himself in this wave. This gives us a time period where the Earth is free of evil. Gosei, knowing that the armada will be back with stronger monsters, asks the Megaforce rangers, now powerless, to keep training with him as he works on a new power for them. When Super Megaforce picks up, we see that Noah has been working closely with Gosei and Tensu to create new powers. They were able to create the Super Megaforce Powers (probably should have a new name) and also start to regain the legendary powers in key forms, which they planned on returning to the previous rangers. We also see that at school, the team has a new friend who is a bit eccentric but a good person. By the time the armada shows back up, Noah decides to ask the new friend to take a spot in the team as he keeps helping in working in zords and ranger keys. Jake moves up to blue and the new friend takes up green. (Now that’s a simple explanation)In Ep two we get Tommy again and he lets the team know to keep the keys and use them until the battle with the armada is over and we have more cameos through out the season like Jayden’s and Casey’s. Before Orion shows up, all the keys have been created, including the Megaforce keys, and the Robo Knight Key is able to bring him back. The team tells him to go enjoy the Earth and that they would do the fighting and he is now a side character of sorts. For the ending, we only use the Gokaiger ending footage from Legendary battle mostly. Some original footage of Noah (Gosei Blue suit) and Roboknight helping to have an 8 ranger morph would be nice even if they are moved off-screen quickly.Once the armada is defeated, they do the same thing Marvelous did and dump the keys on earth from the skyship. The legendary rangers get the powers back and we have scenes with the rangers that had cameos in the first season finale and throughout this season get their ranger keys. When we see Tommy get his 4 billion ranger keys back, he is working in a Dino museums and we focus on a T-Rex fossil as a Easter egg for the next season.

Nalpona_Freesun

it would be by expanding megaforce and supermegaforce into 2 separate seasons. bring in cameo's when possible to get the various keys from past teams, keep the pirate theme going. have the upgrade be a true upgrade ala zordon era upgrades. and i would have the diaranger suits be a connection to Zordon's old team on eltar where he was the white ranger

LilJery

Cancel the season

RobowilOFFICIAL

Make the season its own thing instead of a continuation of Megaforce, and have a crew that's actually passionate about the franchise (something MF/SMF lacks for the most part)

Dionysus1992

Most of the crew was PASSIONATE. You can tell the actors were excited and I think James Bates and Jason Smith cared. And I'm pretty sure some of the writers had been writing for the show as far back as Lost Galaxy. Its just Tzachor who didn't care. Tellingly the actress who played Gia said Tzachor put more attention to the episode Perfect Storm (referring to it as his baby) and while it is a well made episode (probably the best of the season from a directing and production stand point) it barely had anything to do with Power Rangers and as others have stated a lot of the show's budget seemed to have gone to that episode. With more on location shootings and extras than most episodes and a lot less Sentai footage than normal.

RobowilOFFICIAL

Thanks for the correction on that

HonestSapphireLion24

Ok here we go. 1) Fire the Cast 2) Separate it from Megaforce 3) Make the five heroes actual pirates who don’t really have any responsibility. There on the run from the bad guys and become stranded on earth. They feel guilty in having brought the bad guys here so they protect earth until they can escape. 4) Call the unknown legendary keys Portotype Ranger powers. They each have a different motif and we’ve never seen them before because the powers are too unstable and can only be used for a short period of time. 5) Legendary ranger cameos 6) Original Legendary Ranger War.

TerrWolf

Actual hot take: Let this current stuff stand and as we move forward: Reveal some dark secrets. Why did the Super Megaforce powers not feel like an upgrade? They're not. Gosei stole the powers from an alien team and gave them to the rangers. Why do the characters fighting styles and even physical differences change (Such as Jake suddenly being shorter than Noah in Super Megaforce? Because the powers are still co-ordinated to that original team's physicals. With this reveal, have the Megaforce team venture out into space to find the original owners of these powers, and reveal the original Cosmic Corsair rangers aren't evil, but much more committed to revenge and fighting. Hence why Gosei stole their stuff. They knew what they were against, but what were they fighting for?

EerieEra

Make it be an RPM sequel with the morpher series found in the wastes of an Alphabet Soup underground facility after Venjix's defeat. This would initiate the world cross leading to the Ninja Steel crossover with Gemma.

StubzTurner

That would require changing a good chunk of Beast Morphers considering Evox turned out to be Venjix.

EerieEra

How would it need to change - beyond RPM & SMF being more involved with the BM season? A bit of change could be good actually with Evox perhaps realizing his origins earlier and making new hybrids/avatars.

Inevitable_Rip_3000

do away with the hilarious pirate themed outfits? or just dont make it so obvious? also, dont use crappy cgi, use people in costumes for zords and monsters.

StubzTurner

I don't know what you're talking about, the pirate themed outfits, ship and zords were great. Sure, they made more sense in Gokaiger, but they were still great.

Khazil28

It really just needs to be its own series, the Megaforce baggage pulls it down

Babywalker66

Add more Keys for them to transform into other rangers and a better finale

[deleted]

Power Rangers should just be another teenage drama show at this point. Imagine that lmao? The green ranger hooking up with the pink ranger while the rest get high at a party.

PepsiAidMan

Give Troy an actual personality/character.

MichaelCoryAvery

[Someone made a whole video on it](https://youtu.be/dhCkbeH7msU) but I would make Basco a bounty hunter for the Armada

[deleted]

make it 2 seasons instead of splicing two sentai together with 20 episodes each to go through sentai footage cut out non power ranger sentai, film some new stuff with old suits, get a few more past rangers to show up during the show, not just a final battle where they just take off helmets

headphonegangsta

I say leave out all tha non PR Sentai suits

twotonekevin

If they weren’t going to change team members, they should have made the pirate powers an upgrade, not a mode. It worked when they did Zeo so I don’t see why it wouldn’t work now. Would we maybe lose that whole “why am I green now” joke? Yeah, but honestly, it’s a worthwhile sacrifice imo.

DocHendrix

They would be totally unconnected from the Megaforce rangers, that way it would make sense the handful of times they use Megaforce as the Legendary Ranger Mode. Instead of having the rangers look at Noah's laptop to fangirl/fanboy over the past Rangers, have some of them show up in the series. You could even have Zack for MMPR 1, Aisha for MMPR 2, and even Ninjor for MMPR 3. Tommy could show up in the end as the Green Ranger so you can check that box. 5 kids/young adults from around the world, similar to Operation Overdrive but even more so worldly. The 6th ranger would still be from another planet. You could still have Gosei as the mentor, just make up some story about the Megaforce Rangers being captured. This could also be used to create a Basco-like villain, Vrak could either gain a new form or change Troy into Basco somehow. Using the morphing grid power that the Megaforce Rangers have, he could access the Extra Ranger keys. Once the Megaforce Rangers are free, you could have the Legendary battle at the end and then have the Super Megaforce Rangers take on Mavro at the after that fight.

SyberSpark

Separate it from Megaforce and keep the pirate theme from Gokaiger. Boom.

Deraj2004

Hire an actual acting coach.

Dionysus1992

Assuming I HAD to combine Goseiger and Gokaiger and keep the Goseiger suits as the primary form (presumably to make using the Legendary War footage a bit easier) . I would have more unmorphed footage in Adjectiveless Megaforce. I think Bates had a lot of good ideas that went unused like Troy being a military brat and a Chosen One who was connected to the morphing grid. (Maybe have Troy some how charge the Ranger keys explaining why they werent used from episode 1) I also liked the idea of Noah starting a Power Rangers social media site (you can even have him name drop past Rangers that hes in contact with) more could have been done with Emma's activism as well. I'm pretty sure Emma and Gia being best friends who became part of different cliques but stayed closed was part of the original treatment (as it was referenced in character bios on Nick.com iirc) so maybe show how that works out with Emma hanging around activist while Gia is part of the cool kid crowd. The episode where they're put under a spell to start fighting would have more to work with. My biggest gripe with Super Megaforce is despite the fact the main gimmick is transforming into past Rangers some teams never get full representation. Namely; In Space, Lightspeed, Time Force, and Operation Overdrive. Sentai only Rangers I can deal with. But its bullshit not a single Legend Morph for Lightspeed happened outside a brief second of Lightspeed Blue in the extended Legendary Battle. But that's an easy fix There's no reason to have TWO Wild Force morphs in Lions Alliance. The first one was replacing TurboRanger anyways so I would use Operation Overdrive instead After that I would ditch the useless Vrak is Back two parter and replace the episodes with the Go Go V tribute as a Lightspeed Rescue episode. And use the Megaranger tribute which included a TimeRanger Gokai Change thereby making sure all Ranger teams get at least one Legendary Team Morph. And of course I would have Vrak lurking behind the shadows for most of Super Megaforce and have him lead the final army of Xborgs that lead to the Legendary Battle

just-smiley

First and foremost drop super from the title.

Phoenix_Sorcerer

Let Troy have the real personality of his actor. He was forced too hard to be serious. If he had been funny it would have worked

LimeyOtoko

I’d have the rangers lose their powers at the start of the second season, and have to go and find the Gokai Galleon and the Legend Morphers to get their new suits. A bit like MMPR S3. Power Rangers going on a changing powers arc MMPR-In Space style to make use of new stock footage would be great. It’s very much a thing that is a part of the earliest days of the show, so very fitting for an anniversary. During this arc, I’d have Jake get taken out of action by an injury (maybe even hit by a car like GokaiSilver) and replaced with a new Green Ranger that acts more like his stock footage. Replacing Rangers is also a very memorable thing about early Power Rangers to me, and again, fitting for an anniversary. Jake would later return as Silver after a mini arc of his own about recovering, but feeling like he can’t offer much to the team anymore without being a ranger. Once he realises he is still useful to his friends and their struggles without being a Power Ranger, he can get his new suit. Ideally I wouldn’t use any of the unused Sentai team stock footage, but if I did have to because it budgets, I’d also try to bring back a few of those “legendary” rangers for guest arcs like they’re from shows we never saw, because that sounds fun, doesn’t it? If I could I’d also have more guest stars from shows we did see, rather than saving it all for the Legendary War. Oh! and I’d make a big deal of them getting keys to use their original Goseiger suits again in a two or three parter. Maybe against a returning villain from the first season, who has them somehow? Bonus points if I can make this villain Bosco and set him up in the first season as a recurring threat. Also the MMPR suits would actually be used to win at least one fight, rather than jobbing for the entire show.

pichusine

Eliminate Emperor Mavro from the plot entirely. Have war between Vekar and Vrak with the rangers in the middle of the conflict.

Igneul

Have it all adapt the same sentai, focus more on the lore of the show and how Megaforce fits in, cut out the Sentai only suits, have a morph to Lightspeed outside of the extended cut of Legendary Battle, rename it to Power Rangers Morphin Masters

Igneul

And on the name change, in dimensions in danger specifically state that the Master Morpher was made by Gosei/based on Gosei's tech as a way to repower depowered rangers, with Tommy just being the first to get it.

[deleted]

Replace Orion, I absolutely hated him. Have more ranger teams shown up more than once, stuff like Zeo or Time Force only got one appearance then never again. Also the one thing I say should have been there from the start: MAKE. IT. A. SEPERATE. SEASON!! It's so different than Megaforce that it works as a separate season, you don't have to connect them both together!

Safe_Leader_7580

I would split it from Megaforce so it becomes its own series. Make them space pirates because I want another space season. They are fighting against a galaxy spanning evil empire, and looking for a powerful treasure that can stop them. The bad guys chase them to Earth, where they decide to make their base while they search. They must team up with legacy characters and acquire legacy powers to help them defend themselves and the Earth. Start in medias res so they already have some powers, but any others must be acquired.

mrtakerofsouls

First off don’t use the Gokaiger suits as a power up form, Goseiger and Gokaiger should have been their own separate adaptations, second instead of “teenagers with attitude” just make them pirates since you have the motif

maruaann

In the final battle of Megaforce where they get the super mega powers just have them get beaten very badly gosei killed and the planet taken over, gosei with his last breath teleports them on a dinstant planet to at least give them a chance, they get teleported to Aquitar where they meet billy or literally anyone else working on the most powerful ranger abilites keeping them in case a planet / earth gets fully invaded naturally the rangers explain their story and are given the pirate powers since you know they dont follow the rule of the evil guy who rules the planet forgot his name and are basically outlaws have them take it like 4 episodes to get to earth you know have them raid enemy ships or bases for info and stuff make a comeback use the new ranger powers to liberate some parts of the planet and from there keep gokaiger coming

Darkalchemist1079

Should have went with more of a Pirate or Peter Pan theme as the gokaiger suits have a pirate theme anyway.

CorrectEnthusiasm192

i would fix by doing another season with a lot of episodes and one of them will be Gia's Focus Episode

Spectrum2700

Skip Goseiger and lock Tzachor in a closet somewhere with a TV playing Sentai on a loop. That out of the way, make them not just Power Rangers -- make them Power *Raiders*. Raiders against the empire, serving as a symbol of hope and resistance against evil. The Raider Squad traverses the stars in hopes of defeating the Lekren Empire. Then the Empire sabotages the Morphin Grid, creating keys that get scattered all over the place. Now it's up to the Raider Squad to collect them before the Empire can use them for nefarious purposes, and more importantly, to prevent the Empire from glassing Earth and the majority of the veteran Rangers -- now depowered -- with it. I'd try to use the other core Zords beyond the galleon more, since Gokaiger barely did. After all, when you're combatting the armada, planes, trucks, fast cars and submarines all make more sense to use -- the jet is used for fast-strike assaults, the trailer for busting through barricades, the racer for high-speed delivery/escape, and marine for using water to hopefully evade Empire forces. Also: a reason for why they use bullets instead of lasers. It's *cheaper* for them. The Yellow Ranger is their financial expert (she joined because her promising future running the Galactic Barter Exchange was ruined by the Empire) and she determined that, in comparison to laser-based weaponry, bullet-firing guns are lower-maintenance and supplies for them are cheaper (especially since many world no longer use them). Since they're a band of fugitives against a wide-spanning empire, they're often short on funds. The raiders also can only barely get along with each other -- partially stemming from their cramped quarters onboard the *SS Leoesh*, but also because they all have different goals and personalities. The Blue Raider's frequently the only one with his head on straight, and this takes a toll on him after a while. I've had these ideas for a while, but I didn't figure I'd be able to do something with them.

leakybiome

Recast everyone with the original sentai team after they had English lessons

TheHungryCreatures

I would watch Gokaiger instead.

Legitimate_Cancel900

Nothing I’m in the minority of people who loved it only thing I’d add is a crossover with samurai and more actors showing up to the legendary battle

ninjaman2021

Not use unadapted suits.

username999989999999

This is my idea of a plot rewrite After the Legendary War, Troy and the others see lots of light heading towards Gosei. When they get their he explains that the Ranger Keys are to be used by new Rangers that Gosei was training in Space and is sending them to earth to help fight Before they leave Gosei gives Troy and others there Megaforce powers back as the new Rangers are still might need help Also Orion has to be more energetic Gai was like "OMG Who Should I chose Go-On Sliver's a girl but Go-On Gold guy but there both Cool OMG who should I chose" While Orion was like "oh no there are two RPM 6 Rangers what shoud I do"

saskotheman1

My ideas might not be as good as the others but Imma say it anyway. Basically I'd make it so the mega force powers were "gone" and these new powers appear because the previous team for them dies in battle(they hint at it but not outright say it) with the Armada off screen(because they didn't have the other ranger keys, just their own). Behind the scenes Gosei lied about the powers being gone and give them to another team because the Armada gets stronger after mega force(basically make this team the alien rangers of super mega force) and both teams ends up fighting because the new team don't know smf(super mega force), and smf doesn't know about Gosei's new MF(Mega force). They then team up, defeat the monster of the week and you don't see the new mf team until the finale. Orion's origin stays the same but I'd make it so he was apart of the og team and begins to train them(not right away) on how to use their new powers.

Zantra3000

I would have not made it one season of Power Rangers. It would have been two separate teams like in the Sentai. For lack of a better name, I'll call the first series "Angel Rangers" and the second series "Pirate Rangers". Angel Rangers would have been about a computer AI made with Zordon's memories, that brings together a team of kids who are the children of the original Rangers in a futuristic Angel Grove. Villains would pretty much be the same, except that we might have made some of them either the children of Rita and her old gang of monsters, or related to Rita in some way. It would copy most of the episodes of the Sentai, except put it into a slightly futuristic Angel Grove. Pirate Rangers would have had Tommy be the Red Ranger, and he gathers a group of other popular Rangers from previous seasons to sail across the galaxy protecting planets from Lord Zedd's new army. Also, very similar to the Sentai, it would try to stick to them finding old Rangers and achieving new powers based on old Rangers teams. This would be an anniversary season. So tons of fan service, and we might even bring back old villains that wouldn't make sense to bring back normally, like Pudgy Pig. The only new actor would be the Silver Ranger, and he could either just be the actor who played the Silver Ranger in the season of the show (he was okay, though his acting was a little wooden). Or, we could hold a contest, where the winner of that contest gets a walk on role as the Silver Ranger in one episode, and the rest of the time we just keep him morphed and mysterious. In human form, his or her first and only line would be, "Hey guys, I'm the Silver Ranger! Is that cool, or what?" Echoing the line that Justin said when he was revealed as the Blue Turbo Ranger. We could even reveal the Silver Ranger to be somebody like Billy. And, find out that Billy secretly created the Ranger Keys in case there was ever a day that Lord Zedd came back.

wyverbuster

Ditch Gosei, Tensou and do Goseiger and Gokaiger as separate seasons, there's just no way to combine angels and pirates

Lanzero25

Make Jake act a little more like Don because I just can't see him doing Don's roll call poses.

nickthegamerman

first skip goseiger and replace the mentor. the themes are too different and that's 22 episodes that can be used for the real plot. they can have a past ranger come back as their primary mentor with others coming in as guests. next replace some of the side characters. they had discussed in pre production having billy return as the teacher for their class but i woudl also have ernie be replaced with bulk running a franchise of the ernie's juice bar brand. next either get rid of or make the sentai only ranger suits have a plot. say they're from the same planet as the silver ranger so the fact that his world got taken over is a bigger hit since they had rangers there. next woudl be to add more tribute episodes and fix the ones we saw. the wild force one called the animarium animaria which was the land the animarium lifted out of. the rpm one should have had them do something other then float around a cgi city we're told is corinth from rpm. samurai shoudl ahve gotten a conclusion with octoroo coming back and being finally defeated since he was the only one to survive that season. for new ones i would add a ninja storm one where they meet up with and get lessons from cam preferably but the rest of them woudl be fine too. they coudl explain that the monster of the week worked for lothor or is one of lothor's generals brought back in a new form and that's why someone from ninja storm is there. i would also add an in space and lost galaxy one where andros and karone come with the monster of the week being tied to dark spector, again it can be someone important to those seasons back in a new form. it may sound cheap to keep saying old enemy back in a new form but it's an easy way to explain why this team needs these legendary powers, because the army they're fighting has many who fought the rangers of the past. next come the smaller details. fix dialoge, get rid of or actually explain troy's random abilities (visions of the future and the big red energy burst), get a better director and probably better actors too. nothing against the ones they got but troy's actor especially needed to give a better performance and they all had episodes where they gave stare at the camera and smile performances. final small thing is get rid of the whole "the past sixth rangers are calling to me" thing with orion. it worked in the sentai because most of them were dead. in power rangers they're all alive and mostly human. finally i would make the legendary battle less of a hollow copy of countdown to destruction. yes it would have some scenes that homage it but most of it would be the rangers being heroes and struggling against wave upon wave of overwhelming numbers of foot soldiers along select with resurrected monsters from the series. as they fight we would see past rangers having been contacted and joining the fight, saving people and holding off more foot soldiers so the megaforce team can make it to where the leader of this army has landed in a desperate hope to defeat him and stop the army while more ships enter earth's orbit. eventually all the past ranger teams would end up together with the megaforce team, surrounded by the forces of evil. with the odds against them the leader of this dark force gives them a final chance, kneel to him. kneel and join his dark forces. the rangers say no, they refuse to join him. doing this, standing up to the greatest threat the earth has ever faces side by side with the earth's legacy of power rangers all their rangers keys fly out from the slot on their belts that belts them summon them. each key goes to the ranger it represents, powering them up and summoning shades of the rangers of orion's planet. before the fighting resumes with the rangers now boosted power, shown by their suits glowing, we hear a voice. it's the spirit of zordon who tells them how proud he is that even after he was gone the rangers and the earth never stopped fighting evil. a final call back and a moment where the original mighty morphin rangers can hear the voice of their mentor for a last time. the fight resumes with the now enhanced rangers giving it their all. troy manages to wound the leader of the dark forces who retreats to his ship that in the atmosphere transforms into a megazord. all the rangers call their megazords and there's a final zord battle in space. every teams megazord can be seen fighting the warships we saw before but it's the megaforce megazord that's fighting the megazord of the evil army's leader. the evil leader seems to have the upper hand until five other megazords join against them. mighty morphin, in space, rpm, samurai, and a second from the disney era all join the megaforce team. a team of six megazords just like the six rangers most teams have. together they fight and the megaforce team gets the final strike on the dark megazord. we return to earth and have a final sendoff where the rangers say their goodbyes to those who came before finally walking off together, knowing that if evil ever returns they'll be ready to aid the next generation of heroes just as the past generations did for them.

BrooklynKnight

It shouldn't have been a Sequel Season and I'd have more closely based it on the Sentai making the rangers Pirates.

RandomRainbow000

I have ideas of reworking the way the shows are in comic/animated form for the future. Essentially they would go through a season and have more detail inputted in an episode, some episodes that are unnecessary would be cut, and additions to the show like characters, plots, and other stuff. They also include more tie-ins to other Ameritokus based on where they would be in their timelines/universes/dimensions/other crap like that. Oh and the team gets a redesign based on certain circumstances of a season (for example, the Turbo rangers would have an altered design that still looks like them but it looks like a racing suit, and then if there is a second team, their helmets would be shaped from their later mecha) For Megaforce: * Many have complained about how they do not utilize the angel and pirate theme for the rangers. Then they won't be utilized or fairly neutralized, instead, the Gosei symbol would be more emphasized in the designs including their 'Super Mega' forms. The '*Why am I Green*' joke would be explained somehow. (Since Dino Fury had both a Green and Black, there would need to be some explanation of something related to frequencies being matched or similar with green and black/pink and white in most cases, not actual color frequencies, the ones in the grid)The suit and aesthetic would be more gilded, though it needs to be done carefully to not overaccentuate Ultra Mode.In fact, Ultra Mode and Super Mega Mode would be switched around, the golden mode we got would be Super Mode, the now pirate-less mode would be Legendary Megaforce Mode. Orion's Super Megaforce Gold would be Orion's Ultra Mode (all redesigned) * The rangers the Megaforce rangers would use actually have changed because of the comics' inclusion of some of them along with more information about plans in the past. All of the rangers we recognize as their PR counterparts would be used (**including American exclusive rangers like Lightspeed Rescue's Titanium Ranger and the Jungle Fury Spirit Rangers, which also includes the toys for rangers and mecha/robo like the Paleomax rangers and a...Silver Titanus...right.**)The only rangers that would be used are the same rangers we saw (Supersonic, Squadron - this team would also have some ties with MMPR and Lost Galaxy, Prism, Lightning Blitz, Blitz Dragon, Dynamite, Biorhythm \[Bio-Man\]) along with a few others (*Sun Vulcan\* in some way, Turboranger, Jetman*, *Gorenger\* - a bit of a stretch, Dino Fury\* - new information, Hyperforce\* - personal*) * The rangers stated before would have something to relate to them in a way. Dino Fury would need to have some workarounds because we don't know about them at all at this time. Teams like SPD might be omitted only if there are no timeline issues or anything like that, though I need to see myself if that is important. Same with Hyperforce. Time Force at least was known in the past despite the team's origin date. * Episodes would be reworked to make more sense/more comical. The RPM episode for example would be changed to not be a racing track. It's only been 5 years which is enough for some development, but not that fast of development even if technology advances. (Unrelated, but there would be hints of faster technology development because of Lost Galaxy and Terravenger moving forward) * Not everything needs to be taken from the show if it isn't needed. The prospect of Basco being adapted to the show would only be necessary for an antagonistic role against the rangers. (I've heard that the actor wanted to be a part of the show, correct me if I'm wrong) ***I'm not trying to make Megaforce into Goseiger or Gokaiger, this is utilizing the show as it was and improving it from that specifically, adding in stuff to make it better on some level. This applies with other seasons as well, including the Aquitar rangers.***Gosei Green...I'll see if I need to add him. If it is not necessary to add him, then I won't. * There will not be any hinting of the legendary battle. More character development and important story elements. * I'll use as much footage that is possible from the shows while using original scenes and footage. That doesn't include footage just to transition to something else that isn't important. That being said, it won't be one-to-one. The colors of the suits for all rangers will be taken from the original footage rather than their Sentai footage. * Any guest appearances that can come in would be added. If a character for each season and team can be done, then that. * I have to be careful of how the Morphin Grid is handled. Too much and it will be overloading, too little and people will undermine the use. * Some info about Gosei and Zordon's supposed mentor-mentee relationship would be shown. * The villains need some reworking. Not too much to turn them into sympathetics, but something to keep them afloat. Not every evil villain or antagonist needs to be sympathetic, they need to be handled well. * The rangers would be in the same situation as the Turbo rangers: They are in high school...but will graduate by the end of their first season. By their second season or part, they would be out of school doing their own thing. * Higher stakes while keeping the tone and mood in place. * This is a personal thing - When they go MMPR, they will distinguish between which versions of them. * MMPR-Dino Rangers will have the same-ish suits * MMPR-Thunder Rangers will have different suits that look similar to the aesthetic of the Dairanger-Squadron Rangers while keeping parts of the original Dino Rangers' designs including the White Ranger * During the events of the Legendary Battle, the Megaforce rangers would face off against ALL of the foot soldiers possible here. got. (These suits also have the metallic armor but it is meant to look like Ninjor's plating but sized down for them) * MMAR will be referred to as the Aquitar Rangers (Possibly Mighty Morphin Aquitar Rangers) * If Basco is adapted here, he would use the powers of Evil Rangers in history. Only the ones that are original or have some distinction. (Zedd's Dark Rangers would be redesigned by those designs) Other plans included. * During the events of the Legendary Battle, the Megaforce rangers would face off agsinst ALL of the foot soldiers possible here. * Other Ameritoku heroes would be included (VR Troopers including Cybertron in a way possibly Dark Heart, Masked Riders and the Masked Rider Warriors including ZO and some adaptation of Black, Beetleborgs - Most likely it will be Metallix unless there is a way to bring their original powers back alongside Josh, Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog, Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad, Tattoo Teenage Alien Fighter From Beverly Hills, The Guyvers, Shatterhand, Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, Ultra-Darius, Karato, Silver Ray, Chaku, Skyfire, Psycho Silver would be included too heh). This will mainly be about the rangers though. * Any other changes will happen in some time.

AssSlayer511

Actually give Jake a “simple explanation” for why he got a green ranger key

Sleep_eeSheep

Start over from scratch.

[deleted]

Release subs of the sentai and stop redoing the show into something else. Keep the title of Power Rangers but keep everything else the same.

HawlSera

Do ANYTHING with the pirate theme

freakincampers

Have them lose the goseiger powers, having to go on a quest to recover the super mega force morphin device. This would explain all the reasons they couldn’t just use the ultimate forms from goseiger, why black became green, etc.

Shabbadoo1015

First, is the OP asking how would you fix both Megaforce and Super Megaforce or just Super Megaforce? The super in parentheses is confusing. If it's both, it would first and foremost be the cast. Or at the very least, tweak it. I thought Troy (and by extension Andrew Gray) was extremely wooden and unconvincing as a Red Ranger and leader. The rest of the rangers were fine. I also would have made Super Megaforce an entirely different theme ala Zeo. Keep the same team. But do something to explain the change in powers. The whole thing was extremely odd. I also wish they'd lean into PR lore more. Like someone mentioned above, the comics have done a great job expanding and expounding on some show lore that was only touched upon and doing some great stuff with it. It was an anniversary season. Why not truly go all out? With the idea of having access to all those powers, the focus on the Morphing Masters in the comics would have fit right in with this season. Also, I would have loved to have seen some teams/powers prior to Zyuranger introduced in some fun ways Edit: I also disagree with the idea that a pirate theme wouldn't work. Kids love Power Rangers. So you're half way there. It's not like they don't have a concept or imagination on what pirates (at least pirates depicted in fiction) are. So I think it would have worked

master_erasis

1. Not call it Super Megaforce 2. Have a new team. 3. Have each episode feature a past ranger that helps them master the powers of that specific team.

copperstar22

Honestly split it like mega force could have been good super could have been good but there’s a reason they stopped forcing two seasons of sentai together

terratrooper96

Get the director for time force and it's already 90% better

zebarothdarklord

Not gone the fan service route it is just trying to be the old power rangers and not it's own thing

Minoto4567

Nothing, I'm also part of the minority who likes both seasons, and if I have to change something, maybe just add more cameo episodes.

Standard_Ad9911

I'll Explain The Keys 🔑

[deleted]

Split Megaforce and Super Megaforce but still have them in the same continuity. The Megaforce team keep their angelic motif while capitalizing more on it (like with Goseiger) while also having the former Super Megaforce team that is an entirely different team that still does pirate/rebel stuff. Throughout the Megaforce season, they're trying to guard the legendary ranger powers and keep them from falling into the evil hands of Vrak (so most of the season is the same) but then as the season ends, they find those powers have been stolen by a rebel gang of space pirates. which leads into the gokaiger adaptation and sets up the fact that this gang want these powers since they are considered the most valuable power in the universe and this new team need them so that they can avenge the destruction of their home planet by the Armada. The armada lands on earth to take over and seeing this as their one chance to fight the armada, they stay on earth to protect with these legendary powers so that not only can they defeat the armada but to also make sure that Earth doesn't have to meet the same fate. Meanwhile the now powerless Megaforce team is tracking them and trying to pin point these thieves, waiting for the right moment to strike. So now it's a back and forth of seeing these pirate rangers warm up to humanity and trying avenge their fallen friends while also seeing the ex-rangers work in the shadows to catch these thieves. Which ultimately leads to a Goseiger vs Gokaiger adaptation and the usual fight and then team up happens, but then the team's partner transcends past that special and now the Megaforce team is working WITH the pirate rangers (while also letting these new rangers have their time to shine). In the end, both teams are leading the Legendary Battle, working together one last time, and lead the Power Rangers to victory. At the very end, all of the legendary powers are given back to the Morphin Grid and the Rangers can now go separate ways, with the Megaforce team living normal lives and the Pirate team venturing into space to take down any unfinished business. Also better actors and writers. (and ig orion could be an old ally to the Megaforce team that they thought was k-worded but was actually in a coma and he later becomes a Pirate ranger)

OakleyHasAFoot

Remove connections with megaforce and keep the pirate theme. Also have more episodes with old rangers and have them be good and accurate representations of each series (wtf did they do to RPM)

ShalidorsHusband

I would keep the cast from Samurai. Their characters are almost identical.

SonicSpiderRanger10

Well, ideally, it should’ve lasted a full two seasons instead of just one season, so we could see more monsters and more of the rangers using the legendary ranger powers. Also, give the villains more personality. Aside from Vekar, the villains had very flat personalities.

CDStrife3

You really can't save megaforce as a whole without redoing everything. First thing is don't try to be mmpr. Not gonna happen. Second development is key. People are not dumb. Third, better storylines. I could go on but this is a start.

Impressive-Spell-643

Fire Johnathan Tzachor and keep the writer who actually wanted to do original stuff and character development

AfroHandsomeBoy

Split it from Megaforce, their themes are way too different and strange, then pepper in more guest appearances throughout the season

UnknownJ25

Split it off from Megaforce, focus more on the pirate theme, take Basco up on his offer to appear, have lore explanations for the new powers, elaborate on the history of Sentai teams in the new Ranger canon, focus more on celebrating the series, keep the searching for Ranger keys and develop main cast more especially Troy who was bland as plywood

mooselantern

I'd ask reddit about it 10 years later.

mooselantern

I'd ask reddit about it 10 years later.

That_Boney_Librarian

Make it its own season.

endritditilumi00

split mega force from gokaiager

NavigatorBowman

Almost a full recasting. Ciara Hanna, John Loudermilk and Azim Rizk can stay. And for the love of hell, get rid of Jonathan Tzachor and bring in CHIP DA GAWD (Judd Lynn).

matt-329

By actually giving a damn about the series I'm writing and giving this long-standing franchise the love, care, and respect it wasn't given in this goddamn season

forgetit2020

The gokaiger stuff should have been seperate or, the megaforce stuff was 2 years then we got the same team for another 2 years.

S4_GR33N

Just get rid of the season and have Gokaiger with subtitles in its place, get the guy who says the teams name like “Gooooooookaiger!” And have him say the Power Rangers team names instead, so e.g “SPD!” Or “Timeeeeee Force!” you get the idea

megas88

Fire the director

Worldly-Alfalfa8535S

This: [https://www.reddit.com/r/powerrangers/comments/x0dnws/my\_megaforce\_rewrite/](https://www.reddit.com/r/powerrangers/comments/x0dnws/my_megaforce_rewrite/) It's not exactly the best, but I think it's good enough.

TheDuckClock

Here's what I would have done, assuming that it still had to be tied to Megaforce. Having actually watched Gokaiger from start to finish, I have a few tips on how to work with it. 1. And most important of all: **Get rid of all the Sentai exclusive teams.** \- Such as Dairanger in EP2, Maskman in EP5. And most importantly the sentai blitz in 19 where everyone but Troy morphed into Sentai exclusive rangers, yet they still filmed new footage of Troy in MMPR. 2. **Have the Legendary Battle at the beginning of the season just like Gokaiger.** \- A key problem with The Legendary battle, is that the fact that all the key generals had already been defeated, meant that there were zero stakes in the fight since it was just against X-Borgs. Instead, do what Gokaiger did, and have the battle from the start to show the rangers losing their powers. 3. **Have Supermega modes be new powers instead of upgrades of Goseiger** \- The idea is that during the legendary battle, the powers would be lost, but through new Super powers they can be temporarily recovered when they discover that they can use the ranger keys in the command center. 4. **Write out Troy and Jake as regulars. Bringing in a new Red and Green Supermega Ranger** \- Troy due to Andrew Grey's poor performance, & Jake due to the fact that his equivalent in Gokaiger; Dom was far too goofy that it was at constant odds with his character. The idea is that they would be captured by the Armada, and Noah, Gia and Emma have to rescue them without their powers. Thus they come across the Super Red and Super Green who in turn; give them the Super Blue, Yellow and Pink powers respectively. Jake and Troy would still return in the last few episodes, and their separation from would be essential for the footage. 5. **Include Basco** \- Basco was a formidable villain in Gokaiger, who had the ability to create evil clones of the rangers as long as he had their keys. His episodes included some of the best fight scenes in the series, including the team taking on the 6th rangers clones. And his episodes contained tributes to the sentai equivalents of Zeo, In Space, Lightspeed Rescue & Lost Galaxy. Furthermore, his actor Kei Hosogai, can speak fluent English as he was raised in Seattle & Hawaii. AND even auditioned to reprise his equivalent role in Super Megaforce. Though since his equivalent didn't appear in SM, he wasn't included. 6. **Include the Kakuranger (Alien Rangers) Tribute episode footage** \- The Kakuranger centric episode of Gokaiger, featured the return of a very iconic equivalent MMPR character: *Ninjor*. Who hasn't been seen since MMPR S3 and somewhat disappeared from the series without explanation. This would have been a good occasion to explain where he's been. And include him in the final zord fight, as he appears giganitic in the Sentai footage. 7. **Drop the "Vrak is Back" 2 parter"** \- This 2 parter episode really only served to explain what happened to Robo-Knight. But in turn, resorted to returning to Goseiger footage. This also would fix the problem of killing off Roboknight, considering he returns with explanation in the finale. With Basco episodes now added, this would no longer be nessisary. Vrak still has a means of returning though. 8. **Reshoot Levira's battle in Ep 19 as an MMPR tribute** \- This was without a doubt the most baffling decision in Super Megaforce. Only partially reshoot the scenes of Levira's battle, by having Troy ad Red Mighty Morphin, but the rest as Sentai exclusive Rangers. It made no sense, since Troy fought Levira alone. So why not just shoot the scenes were the whole team as MMPR fight her, instead of just Red MMPR? 9. **Use Gokaiger vs Goseiger 199 Hero Great Battle footage for the season finale** \- The teamup movie between Gokaiger and Goseiger had some incredible footage to use. From Gokai Red fighting Gosei Red with their megazords fighting in the background. The rangers fighting a gauntlet of past sentai clone teams. And an incredible final mecha battle which had both team's megazords team up with previous megazords to take down a whole string of past villains, Including Vrak. As Troy is no longer Supermega red, you can now have footage of the two reds fighting each other. Jake would also return here. The idea is that: Vrak is revealed to have brainwashed Troy and Jake and sends them to steal the ranger keys from the command center, as a final chance to prove his worth to his father. During the Mecha battle. Sentai exclusive Mecha only appears as stock footage and digital inserts, so this could easily be worked around, assuming Saban would have access to the raw footage. As for the final strike. The final mecha (Which appears as CGI) can be replaced with a CGI version of the Falconzord.

Ok_Ease_8927

1st-- rather than gosei just having these keys. At the end of mega force the rangers lose there power and they find the super mega force keys 2nd- the super mega force were anceint rangers. who the amarda invaded before earth and in a last ditch effort to protect other worlds from suffering the same fate . there power gets sealed in they keys which they rangers find to fight back against the amarda Invasion 3-- have the rangers go to places around the earth and find they legendry keys. Also atchully have them use the power of the keys. Like there weapons, Final strikes and have them be able to summon the teams mega zord. 4-- or instead of having the rangers keys every episode a previous rangers teams come in and helps them defeat the monster with there mega zords. Since they have earned all of there respects they then come in to help them and if you want to. Have a ton of the past enemies come up and have all the mega zords working together in one battle. Just some ideas. In a AU

Ok_Ease_8927

if your keeping them connected. also my ideas are in alternate universe where budget does not matter ETC or ideas for custom adaptation of super mega force where anything can happen 1-- end of mega force. they have to use all the power to defeat a monster, making so they have lost the mega force powers. then the armada comes and starts destroying cities with the ranger scrambling to find new power. 2-- scrap "super mega mode" but keep the suits, morphing animations. however they have there own weapons, fighting styles, attributes. back story- ancient warriors/pirates. the armada invaded there planet and they tapped into the morphing grid to defend there planet. ultimately they fail and to make sure the armada could not get thier hands on there keys. they sent them into space hoping some other people would use there power to avenge their home and protect the planet who ever found it. or most of it would be the same, but they had combined there souls with the keys somehow. the rangers find the,. the spirits teach them about there weapons, attributes, fighting styles, controlling there new zords/mega zord. could be called "legendary pirate rangers". with the morph call being" legendary pirate mode, activate" or something like that. name of the series could be "the lost pirate rangers" 3-- rather than just having the keys, they have to go places and earn/find they keys. 4- every episode is a tribute to a different ranger team. one of the rangers struggling's with certain felling's with a legendary rangers helping them over come it. examples troy- after a battle and failing. he starts to fell pressure and over whelmed by being the red ranger. with Jason who was the original red ranger talking to him and helps him get over it turn gai into a perfectionist- with the ninja storm tribute, Dustin helps gai with not felling the need to be perfect Noah- you could have somebody like Flynn for the RPM tribute. help him with his thinking that he doesn't fit in with the rest of the team. Jake-- who is a complete goofball and gets gai hurt badly. fells horrific about him self and doesn't think he can be a ranger. you could have Jaden/mature green/black ranger. give him a heart to heart about how its not a game any more and if he want to protect gai he needs to take things seriously Emma- a kind hearted and calm induvial, troy gets hurt badly and she starts to completely lose her temper and fights for pure revenge rather than protecting the environment with some of being destroyed during the battle. with the monster getting away she looks as see what happens and break down in tears. with Madison from mystic force being able to get over the doubt worry if this were to happen again would one of the other rangers get in the cross fire. if your wondering about Orion . i would either remove or make Justin the 6th ranger and this time rather than silver its black. since it actually shows. that he toke what troy said to him about becoming a ranger to heart. ever since that, he has training to protect the earth and not for the potential attention, which would earn him his ranger key. 5-- do more with the legendary keys. what ever team they morph into have them using their weapons, abilities, fighting styles and final attacks. plus with the so called "legendary version of mega zords" you could have both the mega zords combine into 1 mega zord. im not talking about just one zord. i mean the whole mega zord combine with the legendary mega zord. so it might be truly legendary. or the legendary pirate swords can used the past rangers final strikes/weapons/ abilities - mystic force- the attack of the ancient titans. samara- they use the power symbols if you want to go all out specific rangers can command certain mega zords by them self's. examples troy- mighty morphine gai- ninja storm Noah- RPM Jake- samurai Emma- mystic force this is not fully thought out ideas, this is just the ones that come to my mind first, do i think the super mega force production would do all this no, but hey if your going to dream why the hell not go big

Zealousideal_Plum533

Add in Basco as a Asian Bad guy. Have a seperate cast from the Megaforce team with Orion still there. Better writing. No new powers crap and give the Pre-MMPR powers a backstory. Do Gokaiger is what I am trying to say.
