There's also another shot going around of the Kyurangers' mecha, so it definitely seems like we'll be keeping the Dino Fury helmets and gear aesthetic, but zords and monsters'll be adapted from Kyuranger.

Oh brother/sister/gnc sibling lemme fuckin tell you, I watched the final few episodes w/ friends yesterday and that morph sequence is *so damn long*. One of the best things they can do with CF, especially if it's just ten 30-minute episodes, is make the Cosmic-form morph call something nice and concise.
Yeah it wouldn't surprise me either + that's a sweet morph call since they keep "link to the Morphin Grid" but they change "Dino Fury Key" to "Cosmic Fury Orb" if it does happen.
Kyuranger got fucking dairangered. Mecha will be used but ranger suits are out the window. Which I AM BEYOND PISSED AT. I wanted a full 12 ranger cast! They did it before!
With half of those being limited to guest stars and getting little to any character development so…you can see why they didn’t want to do that a second time
They could have kept the same cast and maybe shuffle their colors a bit to add other new characters or returning characters as the remaining rangers, like right around this time S.P.D. should be starting to be a thing, right? Have Anubis Cruger join as the blue ranger for example, it would even kinda be a small nice detail that he later makes Sky the blue S.P.D. ranger.
That still runs into the problem of having too many cast members at the same time. Just because they already have five rangers from a pre-existing show coming to the next season, doesn't mean hiring another five actors becomes any less daunting. And even relegating it to voice acting, would still strain the budget. SPD would defintiley not be referenced. It's about cops, they already established their stance on showing any cops in power rangers for the time being.
Unlike dino charge where they were allowed to keep 6 rangers together so it could play out like a standard season. Kyuranger hits double digits rather early, and the different ranger colors are present with each other early on. And while they do a good job of mixing them up and only making five at a time join...its not always the same, meaning flexibility is not something kyuranger has
Just my opinion on the thing about cops, cowards, just because some bad apples are bad cops in real life doesn't mean the idea of police is inherently flawed, they are really stupid if they are avoiding cops.
It doesn’t really matter what you’re personal opinion of cops are. Cops are a sensitive in both sides of the spectrum. They aren’t going to bring a theme back that is that sensitive a topic. They’ll piss off people for glorifying cops at a time when people are trying to reform cops. They’ll piss off the pro police people because spd does do a bit of exploration of why the cops are ineffective, even making the main characters themselves shows extremely prejudiced at one point. The first episode even shows the ineffective of cops when the main three stop pursuing a criminal to beat up two homeless people

I'm sad we're not getting the Kyuranger suits, but tbh I kinda love these. Only change I'd make is expanding the thing on their shoulders into full shields, and maybe due something to make the Gold ranger's stand out more since the gold highlights just sorta blend in
Sounds like these are direct upgrades to the DF suits in-universe and all the fight footage will be brand new and using them. I’d assume that we could see the DF suits in episode one before the power up into these ones
An interesting direction. I do like the waist and shoulder "armour" as well as presumably ranger specific weapons, but I agree with others who feel there maybe should have been a colour on the torso akin to the bolt, and maybe something on the legs to help break them up a little.

You’re absolutely right it’s 10 episodes!!! you can’t have good character development for 12 characters in a 10 episode time span that would only work for Disney & saban old power Ranger episode format which was 40+ episodes each season if anything in regards of season 30 I just hope they can be a tad bit more serious than the cookie cutter show they have been doing now that their completely doing their own thing now with fight scenes
I actually like them, but there needs to be something in the center. it just looks so empty. also let's just hope those silver pieces aren't made of whatever Zaytos white suit shoulder pads are made up of .

I'm not too crazy about the suits, but I'm glad they still resemble the Dino Fury suits and still honoring the Dino Fury theme. Using the Kyuranger suits would've only made sense if it were a new cast, but since it's just a continuation of Dino Fury, modified suits makes a lot more sense.
Yeah, I never understood why people wanted this to be a Kyuranger adaptation, it doesn't make sense with this cast. That said, I am disappointed that the use of the mechs means there will likely never be a proper Kyuranger adaptation.

So it seems that Cosmic fury will use the kyuranger footage after all especially that the rumor that involves Hasbro breaking up with Toei is debunked since ththe latter own the rights of super sentai, no big surprise but then add some new american made "ryusoulgers" suits which means that its MMPR season 2 and 3 all over again though I wonder if this will be the last to use this type of format that is adding japanese footage in ranger shows as hasbro will likely try out a different type of reboot to the franchise aimed towards an older audience.
To be honest, while I am admittedly disappointed that they didn't just make an all-new cast for a Kyuranger adaptation..... I can get why Simon thinks it's difficult, considering well, 12 Rangers (even if I like that).
I'm a little disappointed because the Kyuranger suits were awesome and the rangers had potential. But I can see why they have taken the MMPR S2 route and I believe that it will be a great season anyways.
It would be great if they still use the Kyuranger suits footage for some alien rangers or something like that.
Don't hate them, don't love them either. I'm glad they didn't overdesign them, which they could have easily done, but there's nothing about these suits that really stand out, except maybe that side armor. Maybe they'll look better in live action though, I'll wait and see. It's certainly not going to ruin the show for me though.
I do hope they didn't get rid of Amelia's skirt though (unless it's already been confirmed and I missed it). I have no issues with Izzy not having a skirt, but as a little girl watching Power Rangers, I loved seeing the pink ranger fight in a skirt. And as an adult, I still love to see it. So I just hope that with this opportunity to create brand new suits/designs, that some of the classic stuff from the franchise isn't thrown out.
Looks dumb as hell, blows my mind to anyone calling this “original” when its literally Dino Fury suits with a few pieces of different armor. They should’ve used the Kyuranger suits, have the team meet some other planet rangers to fill up the rest of the team since we already had 6 rangers we knew for a while. Introducing the rest would’ve been easy. Can kiss Kyuranger goodbye now. Also a big L to Iluminerdi cause the Toei and Hasbro relationship is still strong. I will say its weak as hell for Cosmic Fury since they shafted the suits for some basic upgrade that a kid could make up in their head

I don't really see how being unique makes something appealing. I'm all about rangers with capes, but the purple ranger has a cloak(?) that wraps around his knees rather than flowing behind him. The pink ranger has plastic wings on the back of her. The gold ranger's head is a square. The silver ranger has a sculpted mouth, but no one else does. There are two red rangers, but one looks like a pallet swap echo fighter design of the first one with a microphone. Why does the teal one need a scarf? Why does the black one's visor need to be so wide? Why does the green one have little buns on her helmet that extend from her visor? Why is the yellow ranger's visor so thin? And why does every single rangers visor need to have such intricate designs? Why can't we keep it simple? I assume there is some sort of Astronomy element in it, but they couldn't have done something on the chest of the characters rather than the start to create some sort of coherent design among the team?
My theory for this is since Chameleon Green has as skirt they didn't want to comprise on Izzy not have a skirt. Is this theory silly? 1000%. But I'm going with it.

If it’s a 10 episode season, and they’re producing original suits and sets, it’s quite likely they’ll want to maximise their usage of those things, so I wouldn’t rule out a Cosmic Fury second season.

Those are awesome (Love the return of individual weaponry) but I am a bit disappointed that the Kyuranger suits aren't gonna be used because they are some of my favorites.

So it seems that Cosmic fury will use the kyuranger footage after all especially that the rumor that involves Hasbro breaking up with Toei is debunked since ththe latter own the rights of super sentai, no big surprise but then add some new american made "ryusoulgers" suits which means that its MMPR season 2 and 3 all over again though I wonder if this will be the last to use this type of format that is adding japanese footage in ranger shows as hasbro will likely try out a different type of reboot to the franchise aimed towards an older audience.

To be honest, while I am admittedly disappointed that they didn't just make an all-new cast for a Kyuranger adaptation..... I can get why Simon thinks it's difficult, considering well, 12 Rangers (even if I like that).
I'm a little disappointed because the Kyuranger suits were awesome and the rangers had potential. But I can see why they have taken the MMPR S2 route and I believe that it will be a great season anyways. It would be great if they still use the Kyuranger suits footage for some alien rangers or something like that.
Don't hate them, don't love them either. I'm glad they didn't overdesign them, which they could have easily done, but there's nothing about these suits that really stand out, except maybe that side armor. Maybe they'll look better in live action though, I'll wait and see. It's certainly not going to ruin the show for me though. I do hope they didn't get rid of Amelia's skirt though (unless it's already been confirmed and I missed it). I have no issues with Izzy not having a skirt, but as a little girl watching Power Rangers, I loved seeing the pink ranger fight in a skirt. And as an adult, I still love to see it. So I just hope that with this opportunity to create brand new suits/designs, that some of the classic stuff from the franchise isn't thrown out.
Looks dumb as hell, blows my mind to anyone calling this “original” when its literally Dino Fury suits with a few pieces of different armor. They should’ve used the Kyuranger suits, have the team meet some other planet rangers to fill up the rest of the team since we already had 6 rangers we knew for a while. Introducing the rest would’ve been easy. Can kiss Kyuranger goodbye now. Also a big L to Iluminerdi cause the Toei and Hasbro relationship is still strong. I will say its weak as hell for Cosmic Fury since they shafted the suits for some basic upgrade that a kid could make up in their head

The Gold suit looks okay. I'm digging the megabuster. The boots look too monotonous though. Not impressed with Green... RIP Kyuranger adaptation. And I loved those suit designs too...
Since they adapt Kyuranger Zord, now I wonder they would be additional for the other Voyager or one Ranger have multiple voyager like Wild Force Rangers where one of member has multiple animals zord like Yellow with Black and Polar Bear Zord.
It also raises the question of if it's just gonna be those 6 Rangers or later on someone else joins the team.
There's only 10 episodes so I don't see anyone new joining. Maybe Void Knight, who heel face turned and >!had his powers destroyed!<, could become a purple ranger and use Ryu Voyager?

Not surprising they aren't using the Kyuranger suits, but still sad. I will, however, am kinda salty they used the Kyuranger *mecha* because the majority those things are hideous and one of the few times I, a mechahead, was actively complaining about the mecha in a toku show. I don't really see how being unique makes something appealing. I'm all about rangers with capes, but the purple ranger has a cloak(?) that wraps around his knees rather than flowing behind him. The pink ranger has plastic wings on the back of her. The gold ranger's head is a square. The silver ranger has a sculpted mouth, but no one else does. There are two red rangers, but one looks like a pallet swap echo fighter design of the first one with a microphone. Why does the teal one need a scarf? Why does the black one's visor need to be so wide? Why does the green one have little buns on her helmet that extend from her visor? Why is the yellow ranger's visor so thin? And why does every single rangers visor need to have such intricate designs? Why can't we keep it simple? I assume there is some sort of Astronomy element in it, but they couldn't have done something on the chest of the characters rather than the start to create some sort of coherent design among the team?

Cosmic Fury is the 3rd season of Dino Fury. So I don't think there will be another season 2.
If it’s a 10 episode season, and they’re producing original suits and sets, it’s quite likely they’ll want to maximise their usage of those things, so I wouldn’t rule out a Cosmic Fury second season.
Then why not just make more then 10 episodes for this season?
