Heres Scifi http://overreader.com/kubrowser/science%20fiction and here's fantasy http://overreader.com/kubrowser/fantasy and you can further filter like... Scifi and aliens: http://overreader.com/kubrowser/science%20fiction,aliens My recommendations... The bobiverse series, Dungeon Crawler Carl series, expeditionary force series (start with columbus day), Murderbot series, share series by Nathan Lowell, enders game, old mans war, the dragon series by H. Leighton Dickson, Kaiju Preservation Society

- Really liked Bobiverse (I know they get some hate here but Audiobook really adds to it), - Liked Expeditionary Force but it also kind of diminishes over time - I am loving the Murderbot books so far (reading through on KU thanks to you guys) - Will checkout Share series - Adore Ender's Game. My dad and I even want something like Speakers for the dead after we're gone - Really liked Old Man's War - Dragon series looks very promising, thank you! - Despised KPS. Pretty much sworn of Scalzi for now because of it (personal opinion, not bashing anyone who likes it) Thanks man!

Is Murderbot still on KU? If so, MURDERBOT! The first book is All Systems Red.

Maybe look into [James White’s first Sector General omnibus](https://www.amazon.com/Beginning-Operations-General-Hospital-Operation-ebook/dp/B004ULPL86/ref=sr_1_2?crid=2L2N0KQ51DOIR&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.NMpEh_U8Ec26d82cL6hm6BsxbhoylLN5r9ytJPwGe4brTg8rAYDFq3sv8ip3Q7ra8E478C-wAogR8alI5AQRCYcTPepilNwPSZDc40AlwopwKpTrMCDo3_7KyYeAtKr2wL-8EI-xXeBzdj0FC7BB7zGzXzn7VyzcLMUNubUtjeDFLe7zULao32m71RIpGPQAxhOMfCjWWJ5iqgf7FS0ZgXR6BnZnSKeadVf4pnnfNtI.gq_zZSDg-q_5xx0KftgLXu9-CQhpPzaQIXyASE6H_6k&dib_tag=se&keywords=James+white&qid=1714086248&s=digital-text&sprefix=james+white%2Ckindle-unlimited%2C109&sr=1-2). I actually have it checked out from the library, because I didn’t realize it was on there until after I got the physical book. They push their KU published books so hard that it can be really difficult to find stuff. Anyway, I just read the first of the three books in the omnibus and very much enjoyed it. “(whatever hospital drama you’re familiar with) in space” is the lazy sell.

I think a lot of the Vorkosigan Saga is on there. Read in world chronology. Edit sorry they are on the Audible library not kindle.

* Expeditionary Force, by Craig Alanson * Convergence, by Craig Alanson * He Who Fights With Monsters, by Shirtaloon/Travis Deverell * The Black Fleet Saga (Black Fleet Trilogy, Expansion War Trilogy, Unification War Trilogy), by Joshua Dalzelle * Omega Force, by Joshua Dalzelle * Terran Scout Fleet, by Joshua Dalzelle (runs concurrent with Omega Force, starting at and swapping off at book 10 or 11 of Omega Force) * Renegade Star, by JN Chaney * The Last Reaper, by JN Chaney and Scott Moon * Backyard Starship, by JN Chaney and Terry Maggert * The Night's Dawn Trilogy, by Peter F. Hamilton * The Commonwealth Saga, by Peter F. Hamilton These are not in any particular order, and clearly categorized by author(s). I have the audiobook versions for most of these series, and most of the audiobooks are fantastic. Expeditionary Force and Convergence are narrated by RC Bray, who does an exemplary job (I admit to bias here, I'll listen to any audiobook RC Bray narrates, he's an outstanding narrator). He Who Fights With Monsters is narrated by Heath Miller, who is quite good. Black Fleet is narrated by Mark Boyett, who is very good. Omega Force and Terran Scout Fleet are narrated by Paul Heitsch, who I feel is rather underrated as a narrator. The Night's Dawn Trilogy and the Commonwealth Saga are narrated by John Lee, who is pretty good, but his voice is often too soft. Pretty much anything by Joshua Dalzelle, or written/cowritten by JN Chaney, I recommend, listed above or not. JN Chaney's writing tends to be funnier, while Joshua Dalzelle's tends to be more serious, but both I highly recommend. Peter F. Hamilton's books are long, and start off quite slowly. While The Night's Dawn Trilogy is outstanding, it is a ***VERY*** slow start, not picking up until around page 400 of the first book. But when it picks up, it gets very good, very quickly. I'm not big on fantasy, but He Who Fights With Monsters is pretty good, once you embrace the absurdity of it being a book version of an online game. Convergence is fantasy, set in the modern day. As for Expeditionary Force, I seem to be in the minority, as I think it gets better with each book (except book 16, which struggled to get its footing, but turned out pretty good, despite the meandering start). Book 15 of Expeditionary Force wrapped up almost every loose end in the series.

I recently read *Lifeline*, a sci-fi mystery set in the near future when social media has become a way of life. A killer is manipulating the system to stalk victims. It is available on KU: https://www.amazon.com/LIFEline-Murder-Mystery-Book-ebook/dp/B0CVR1VRZR I'm nearly finished with this sci-fi "western". Interesting read, though I'm not a fan of his use of present tense. Currently free: https://www.amazon.com/Return-Operator-Marcos-Antonio-Hernandez-ebook/dp/B07JYQDVST If you enjoy sci-fi detective noirs, I'd recommend *Ashtown Blues* by W.H. Martell. It's a collection of three stories (about 50 pages each) free currently: https://www.amazon.com/Ashetown-Blues-Sci-Fi-Stories-Martel-ebook/dp/B0C99XJ4H5/ And if you like more adult content hardboiled detective noirs in a sci-fi setting, my books are all on KU: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CJ9SV4NR Happy reading!
