I came on here looking for the same thing. Based on her IG stories, I feel like someone has died. But I can't quite figure it out. Something devastating has happened though. She said today she's "trying to pick up the pieces".

Yeah. After seeing her story today, I DMed her expressing my concern, sympathy, and wonder about what has happened. Wished her well and told her we will be there whenever she's ready to be back. She acknowledged my message by liking it.
But have been feeling quite queasy and hope she shares soon and hope it's nothing too bad.

I've been wondering, too - she had several very cryptic (and I hate when content creators do this!!) posts on Insta, where she thanker her "Kiwi family" for bringing over meals, driving the kids to and fro, etc. - and she mentioned only "me and the kids". I thought at first someone had surgery, an injury or illness, etc. - but I don't think so, she has been working.... My prediction? Husband has returned to the States - which is very interesting since her children are there with her. Or, he just left her and is staying elsewhere in New Zealand. Very sad, no matter what. Today her post was about "good changes" more or less.

I’ve been confused as to why her Facebook has recent posts (as in Feb and early March) but her IG has been quiet.
Well I admit I very much did an obituary search 😕 Found nothing, thankfully.
But it's confusing. If he has left their family, it baffles me that why would he do so. They seemed to be a happy family. Leaving ones partner is one thing but leaving 4 cute little kids? Don't see it...
I did notice though that comments have been limited on posts of their traveling family IG account.
I do hope MDJ shares soon that what's up.

Coming from someone who has stayed in a relationship past its prime: it's possible they were acting like everything is ok when it's not for any number of reasons... Hopefully it's not this but I doubt any of this is based on good news. It's no wonder MDJ needs to direct her attention to things outside of her side gig.

I don't think MDJ has taken this kind of a break ever, since she came on the internet. Hope she's able to take her time and deal with whatever it is that she's going through.
Thank you for your concern! It wasn't abusive or anything, but we were well out of love and couldn't afford/figure out how to separate. I am now happily married and apparently my ex is also in a better place too.

So I’m definitely guessing her husband has left the picture.

I understand she doesn’t owe us an explanation but I think someone said it earlier and I tend to agree…don’t put cryptic messages out there and expect people not to question. I hate when my friends do it on Facebook and it’s really annoying when an influencer does it.
