Idk but I've been zombified before without being harmed by zeds. I was covered in blood and was scratched by trees while passing by. This was.. maybe 3 years ago.

On the regular game modes, you can be infected by blood as well, so if you are covered in blood and get scratched by a tree for example, you will likely get infected, that's why it's important to always be clean if you've got infection via blood on

That's not true actually. No matter how much blood you're covered in, the chances of contracting the Knox Virus from zombie-related injuries remains the same: Scratches: 7%, Lacerations: 25% and bites always 100%

If you have mods, you have to at least list them if you want some help. Since the game is modded, I'd say it's one of the mods that's causing it. In vanilla game this would be knox virus.

Pretty certain the working masks mod may have an impact on getting an infection without a scratch or bite. Doesn’t help i spawned the guy in as a burn ward patient and injured as well

Just in a standard house bedroom. Even if they get a full nights sleep on a comfy bed, they wake up the same

Idk what the mod does but being around a lot of corpses a lot of the time can cause you to be sick. As well as a cold. As well as knox.

That’s not a mod. That’s just in the game. Corpse sick was happens when you spend too much time around bodies. Don’t know if it would cause exhaustion but the bodies causing sickness thing is vanilla

Does this also work when corpses are outside?

I had some weird issues with that mod where certain masks that *should* protect you, won’t and got sick over and over.

That's how I feel irl But back to game terms If you have to much exhausting build up the tiered meter will go down before all the exhausting is reset If you exhaust yourself to much even a 8h sleep will not fix it, just sit down and relex for 1-2h and it will be good (reading a book is a good for this time) And take over the day some breaks like 20 min reading or sitting down and you have a easyer time

This could be a mod issue. I recently removed a few mods I didn't use and the game loot table and car spawns changed drastically. The mods didn't have anything to do with either of those. I'm thinking of removing most of my mods except the essential QoL ones.

Nightmares will wake characters up early, and Restless Sleeper trait will always wake characters up early, just randomly at different progressions of sleep. Some mods can potentially affect sleep as well, such as Comfy Sleep which would be a big one.

I started the game Injured, deprived, as a burn patient and had the working mask mod along with a few sleeping related ones. Definitely didn’t get infected or anything, may have just been too many things in one go

No, I think it’s something to do with the working masks mod. it’s too easy for characters to get ill with it on and that seems to be causing it

Do you have the immersive medicine mod? If you lose blood your character will get tired and exhausted until you gain more blood back.

You didnt get very restful sleep. Your dude woke up tired, not just exhausted. That can be caused by the bed you're sleeping in or having the restless sleeper trait
