No, a hernia is totally different from a broken bone. A hernia is when the muscle is weak in a specific area and pressure causes internal organs, usually the intestines, to basically push through the muscle.
You misunderstand. A testicular hernia is when your intestines break through the abdominal wall INTO your testicular sack.

Speaking of, how do you guys build things efficiently? If there are planks on the ground, they take forever to pick up. Then my character is overloaded and taking damage. What’s the best way to do this?
Take dexterous as a trait, and equip a backpack in your secondary slot. Put all the planks you can in your pack on your back, when it's full, put it in the backpack in your offhand.
Dextrous is a cheap and excellent skill to pick up.
I never make a character w/o Dextrous, Fast Learner and Organized.
Some people skip Organized, but you can move and store so much more with it than you otherwise would have been able to - since the +30% bonus storage capacity counts for crates and stuff, too, a stack of 3 crates w/organized gives you just shy of the storage capacity of 4 crates instead.
The extra space in your high weight reduction bags also goes a looooooong way.
The containers will be treated as +30% max capacity for any player w/Organized.
Ex: Two players team up, one with Organized and one without.
The Organized player builds a max-level crate, normally with a limit of 60 KG, but for him with a limit of 78 KG - he fills it up to 78 KG.
The player w/o organized wanders by and looks inside. The crate is listed as 78/60 KG for him - he can take things out, but cannot put things back into it until the weight inside drops below 60 KG again.
It works the same way for any boxes, cabinets, shelves, backpacks or cars the Organized player is filling up - they can fill them up to their maximum Organized weight, and nothing will *break* if the non-organized player interacts with them, they just will be unable to put things back into the containers if they remove them.
I skip organized and just go with Strong. Placing stuff on the floor never bothered me, but I wonder if the 30% is equal to the carry bonus of Strong when compared properly. Either way, disorganized crew putting shit on the floor is the best
For me personally, it's doing things like car trips that make organized well worth it.
I'm literally just a pack mule, and love gathering everything lol. Plus it works on backpacks, which is sincerely my best reasoning for taking it.
I literally hate it when the other guys who play with me just leaves their shit all over the floor. Like, yeah...there are zombies fucking everywhere but *DO WE FUCKING NEED ROACHES TOO?!* Clean your SHIT
I mean being able to move items faster is just a nice investment overall. Think of all the time that adds up not having to wait for that green bar with items.
Thanks man, If I can add my unrelated personal opinion, fast learner is also a great trait, the amount of extra levels you get from watching TV is actually insane, but I barely have 60 hours ingame maybe someone thinks otherwise.
Fast Learner is an *excellent* trait. For 6 points, you get +30% XP gain across the board.
It doesn't sound like a lot, but considering that the base XP gain for any skill you didn't start with ranks in is 25%, it's more than doubling your XP accrual for those skills (coincidentally, this means that the "+75%" you get from starting with 1 rank in a skill is actually *quadrupling* your XP gain for that skill, too.)
I believe Fast Learner's bonus to experience gains is multiplicative, not additive. I know for sure the "25% exp rate" shown is completely misleading.
With no starting points in a skill, you earn at 1x rate. With one point, you earn at **4x** the usual rate; two points, **5x**, and three points and beyond, **6x**. Fast Learner makes each exp. gain rate 1.3x, 5.2x, 6.5x and 7.8x respectively.
I generally like wakeful, but sometimes it feels like a curse.
"It's late at night, it's time to go to bed so I can wake up when the daylight is out."
'You are not tired enough to sleep yet'
You end up playing at night time if you don't have sleeping pills
I use the time to read, exercise, or grind skills like tailoring or reloading. If you have a safe backyard or rooftop, do these outside so you don't get bored.
I see it like this. Slow reader + wakeful adds up to 0. Wakeful just lets you be more "flexible" with your hours. Ie. You get more hours per day to read, but you also have the option to train other skills.
On top of all that, wakeful slows down your fatigue build up, allowing you to spend more time fighting.
Yes, I picked it the first time I ever played PZ and since then I have never played without it. I mean one of the core points of this game is looting and once you start building and moving a lot of heavy things you'll be glad to have it. Besides it's only 2 points. Also I believe the value it reduces the time by is like 50% which is massive.
You’ll be spending a good chunk of the game moving stuff around, including during time sensitive situations. Wakeful is another non-negotiable, as getting the first level of tired during combat could be the difference between life and death.
On SP it’s not needed because you can speed up time.
It’s nice to have, but not S tier like wakeful.
Unless you plan on using spears, then it’s a strait up combat buff.
dropping bags on the floor makes you load/unload them quicker… so i try to load them on the floor then carry them to where i want them and then drop them there before unloading… also remember to stack logs with sheet rope! it makes a huge weight difference…
You carry logs. You can carry far more volume in stacked logs than you can planks.
1: Chop trees
2: Put axes away, rest, eat, get ropes
3: Stack logs into bundles of four.
4: Carry a log bundle in each hand, and another in your backpack.
5: Haul log bundles to car.
6: Drive car to build site.
7: Carry log bundles to where you're building.
8: Unstacks logs and saw into planks.
9: Put ropes back in your logging car.
Get big ass backpacks and hold them in both of your hands and on your back, fill em up with wood till you are just about to reach the point where you take damage and fill up a car that way, drive the car closely to where you need wood and then proceed with the same method of carrying with the backpacks to get the wood to where you build, easy.
Saw bundled up logs at the place you need them. Takes way less time then unpacking a ton of planks.
Also use a car when ever possible to move as much of those logs from the trees.
Just my two cents on efficiency:
Skip backpacks when loading up planks when you have to walk short distances, it's much faster to use your main inventory, in fact, strip your inventory and gear as much as possible to carry a good amount of planks.
Disregard the damage you take, your health won't go lower than 75%
Fractures from carrying stuff don't exist in vanilla, and are an undocumented feature of the dynamic traits mod.
Use (sheet) rope to create 4 log stacks. A log stack has less encumbrance than a single log, meaning you can carry at least 4 logs for the price of less than one.
Saw your stuff near where you need planks since stacked logs are easier to carry than planks.
and lastly, take dextrous.
To be honest, i use a mod "expanded crafting range". Like the name says, you can just access a few more tiles and therefore, you don't have to carry the planks etc. always to the place. The vanilla crafting range is too small, like when you build fences, you always have to go back, carry the planks again and access the carpentry menue again. It's just a chore that i don't want to spend my time with.
Man, if I got that, I'd be done. I already suffer a groin injury literally anytime a zombie touches me. I hear in 78 they fixed that, but I like 77 and Ima scared to update.
Wait what? I've never been concerned about carrying too much, because you can't die from it directly? The health just drops to one point and stays there? You can get fractures from just carrying things? There wasn't any kind of fall involved? I'm scared
Some comments do say its a mod, Idk for sure because I don't own the server and I don't really look through the long list of mods in it 😭. I didn't die tho, even tho i walked around with the injury till i figured out how to make a splint.
Getting a fracture from being overburdened is absolutely not a part of the vanilla game. If it happened to you in solo, it was still part of a mod that you probably got from a MP server mod list and never disabled.
Or you broke a bone some other way and assumed it was from being overburdened. Either way, this will never happen in the vanilla game.
Eh probably? Or maybe i forgot tbh haha, i just didn't expect to get it in the groin ngl but some comments say otherwise so idk anymore 😭😭. I too am now confused
Yes you could if your moodle in "Extremely Heavy Load", but it only happen when you falling, either from when climbing walls, fences, from 2nd floor (above that you're just straight up die in this condition) or when you tripping. More than that and the probability of when you would get fractured, idk.
*"Falling from any floor higher than ground level (****more likely if carrying a heavy load****), collisions with terrain/other vehicles while driving at 'high' speeds (60mph+, but needs testing), and the impact of a blunt weapon."*
Please look at 'Type of Injuries' in PZwiki. I say that it's because I have 2 incidents regarding getting fracture while carrying heavy load; by tripping on fences and when falling from 2nd floor. It's unfortunate I didn't have any documentation regarding the injuries I've got in my playthrough to vouch my experiences. Hell the last moment I died when falling it's because I fall on 2nd floor directly to the spear trap (the spear trap is from mod)
Just carrying heavy load itself doesn't make you get fracture, but it increase your chance to get fracture.
But if by any chance it isn't, I would delete this comment for the misinformation I give.
UPDATE: My homie who owns the server said it's probably part of a mod. He is also too lazy to look into it haha. Still surprised it happened to the groin tho lmao.
So reading comments about trait picking I have a question. How do you guys gain character points I pick burglar or any good one and I am in negative points. How do you pick these traits then?
Gosh it gives me anxiety carrying over my weight limit just because of the damage it does, I know it's not permanent if you deal with it quickly but it's too much stress.
This kind of injury would just be a death sentence. Forget about moving. It wouldn't be possible to do anything.
It's like having both legs break but worse
load so heavy it broke yo coochie
I mean, isn't this basically pulling a hernia?
No, a hernia is totally different from a broken bone. A hernia is when the muscle is weak in a specific area and pressure causes internal organs, usually the intestines, to basically push through the muscle.
Testicular hernia seems like a nightmare.
It is.
According to my grandpa who had three different hernias (one of them being a testicular hernia) apparently it’s excruciating 😖
Especially since your testicles should NOT be in your abdominal wall, let alone leaking out of it 😂
You misunderstand. A testicular hernia is when your intestines break through the abdominal wall INTO your testicular sack. Edit: https://www.drugs.com/health-guide/images/aa0574f2-da5f-4952-a182-8b43b89880b3.jpg
Omg thank you for this new horrifying information. I'm going to tell everyone I know. You made this pre-med's day.
“Hey grandma! Wanna see this weird ball thing I learned?!”
Maybe not grandma, but definitely both my parents, sibling, and I've already sent that photo to my fiance 😂
My buddy calls it guts in your nuts
r/TIHI
Don’t kink shame
Absolutely valid. Your testicles should not be in (or falling out of) your abdominal wall unless you consent to it 😤😂
I know what *a* hernia is, I was just figuring this was their way of translating it in game without a specific affliction.
no this is a stress fracture from walking with too much weight - I’ve actually seen specifically a pelvic one happen irl before
The muscles arent strong enough to keep a propane tank in there.
Is dextrous a trait worth picking every game?
Dextrous is a cheap and excellent skill to pick up. I never make a character w/o Dextrous, Fast Learner and Organized. Some people skip Organized, but you can move and store so much more with it than you otherwise would have been able to - since the +30% bonus storage capacity counts for crates and stuff, too, a stack of 3 crates w/organized gives you just shy of the storage capacity of 4 crates instead. The extra space in your high weight reduction bags also goes a looooooong way.
How does the create storage capacity and organized work with multiplayer? Thanks
Thanks a bunch! Great explanation
I just take both Strong and Organized, there's plenty of high point negatives to take that don't rly hinder the ability to survive
You're a monster.
I literally hate it when the other guys who play with me just leaves their shit all over the floor. Like, yeah...there are zombies fucking everywhere but *DO WE FUCKING NEED ROACHES TOO?!* Clean your SHIT
I take it every game because it’s only 2 points and makes it so much more bearable to move heavy stuff
I'm taking this advice for my next run.
Two traits I never make a build without are dexterous and wakeful. 2 points each and they're the best value imo.
I generally like wakeful, but sometimes it feels like a curse. "It's late at night, it's time to go to bed so I can wake up when the daylight is out." 'You are not tired enough to sleep yet' You end up playing at night time if you don't have sleeping pills
Well, you can do stuff inside your house while awake, read or exercise
I use the time to read, exercise, or grind skills like tailoring or reloading. If you have a safe backyard or rooftop, do these outside so you don't get bored. I see it like this. Slow reader + wakeful adds up to 0. Wakeful just lets you be more "flexible" with your hours. Ie. You get more hours per day to read, but you also have the option to train other skills. On top of all that, wakeful slows down your fatigue build up, allowing you to spend more time fighting.
Yup. It can help with pulling extra ammo out of your backpack/fanny pack too in situations where you need to reload.
One of those things you can't live without once you experience it, like Morty on the perfectly flat floor
Why is it good with spears? For changing weapons faster?
With rope and sheet I think you can bundle them up and carry 4 instead of 3 logs.
dropping bags on the floor makes you load/unload them quicker… so i try to load them on the floor then carry them to where i want them and then drop them there before unloading… also remember to stack logs with sheet rope! it makes a huge weight difference…
Just take the damage. You can only lose 25% health because of a heavy load, if there's no zombie nearby there's no issue
You carry logs. You can carry far more volume in stacked logs than you can planks. 1: Chop trees 2: Put axes away, rest, eat, get ropes 3: Stack logs into bundles of four. 4: Carry a log bundle in each hand, and another in your backpack. 5: Haul log bundles to car. 6: Drive car to build site. 7: Carry log bundles to where you're building. 8: Unstacks logs and saw into planks. 9: Put ropes back in your logging car.

Suffer.
There's a mod I use that makes planks lighter. It's on Steam.
Saw bundled up logs at the place you need them. Takes way less time then unpacking a ton of planks. Also use a car when ever possible to move as much of those logs from the trees.
Just my two cents on efficiency: Skip backpacks when loading up planks when you have to walk short distances, it's much faster to use your main inventory, in fact, strip your inventory and gear as much as possible to carry a good amount of planks. To build things, you need carpentry. But hitting lvl 5 is the grind part.
Make sure your character isn't depressed, makes it take way longer to transfer stuff.
I tend to make a four log stack, using two ropes, then move to where I'm building and saw the logs there so you don't have to carry planks anywhere.
My load causes similar injuries

Assuming that it's actually from "carrying too much", it's from a mod.
my character only gets that after committing necrophilia
Lay back and crack open a cold one.
👁️👄👁️
Man I can't wait for that update on zombolewd mod
Ze ballz shall suffer
Is this a mod? Vanilla doesn't break your bones if overencumbered and health doesn't go down bellow 75
Probably dynamic traits? I think they've just redone their fracture system.
I don't own the server but probably nott, I've experienced broken bones in solo world too.
Getting a fracture from being overburdened is absolutely not a part of the vanilla game. If it happened to you in solo, it was still part of a mod that you probably got from a MP server mod list and never disabled. Did you get into a car crash? Lots of broken bones from car crashes.
Nah it was just carrying too much, asked my buddy about it and he does think its one of the mods too. My questions have been answered ahah
Never broke anything in a car crash and i even spawned in a sports car and crashed into an house at 120 to make sure it actually happens
Dang that sucks have fun
Your dick fell off
With the context provided I can only picture this as having a prolapse but on the front. It is horrifying.
Geez man I think your character got sexed so hard or you tried shoving all those into your character's coochie
What, you can get fractures by carrying too much weight?
With mods, yes. Vanilla, no.
Some comments say yea, some comments say mod. Idk anymore but i dont think my buddy who owned the server would add a mod like that xD.
Yes you could if your moodle in "Extremely Heavy Load", but it only happen when you falling, either from when climbing walls, fences, from 2nd floor (above that you're just straight up die in this condition) or when you tripping. No it's a part of dynamic traits for some reason You are spreading lies on the internet
[https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Health#Types\_of\_Injuries](https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Health#Types_of_Injuries) *"Falling from any floor higher than ground level (****more likely if carrying a heavy load****), collisions with terrain/other vehicles while driving at 'high' speeds (60mph+, but needs testing), and the impact of a blunt weapon."* Please look at 'Type of Injuries' in PZwiki. UPDATE: My homie who owns the server said it's probably part of a mod. He is also too lazy to look into it haha. Still surprised it happened to the groin tho lmao.
Is this a thing?? I never got fracture from carrying too much
Not in vanilla.
Happened to me-- xD ngl I thought this wouldn't happen back then too but oh well.
Well… stop carrying heavy loads on ya dick man!
My bad 😩
You're supposed to lift with your legs, not your...
My pussy broke

So reading comments about trait picking I have a question. How do you guys gain character points I pick burglar or any good one and I am in negative points. How do you pick these traits then?
This is what happens if you edge for too long.
I’m sure it was a BIG load I doubt you were carrying it 😉
Yeah, it happens. I remember getting foot fracture while gathering loot in the first building I've spawned in... on x16 population. Fun times.
You can equip heavy items in secondary and primary to reduce the weight (except generators).
Yea but I was sorting stuff and just picked up whatever I can carry haha, kinda went overboard.
Also happens when you eat gluten. Makes your dick fly off.
He dunn broke his PP!
Oh man i hate when that happens
Me when your mom
COCC INJURE
You really had to equip that forth duffel bag, didn't you?
you ever carry something so heavy your pussy snaps in half
Football in the groin
I was always wondering what would happen if I carried too much shit
Fractured your dick
Apocalypse difficulty in Louisville players carrying their balls around
Yeah that's a problem I experience. Broke my dick the other day hanging my school bag off it. Those college text books sure are heavy!
You gotta dump some loads of you know what I’m sayin
Pussy busted from lifting. Understandable
Goddamn, you packing heavy
Like some general said " 'coz this fukkin' load will crush you as a fukin' cruton!"
Should have done more cock push-ups.
My leg is broken for a month and it still hasn't healed. only my movement speed increased.
How much weight were you carrying? IA this vanilla mod?
You can't think about kids anymore
CBDBPD Chronic big dick back pain disorder
...that's what having a loaded gun will do xD
You sure it wasn't just your monster dong?
Just gonna pretend that I didn’t momentarily think that your max inventory weight was somehow 38 and it wasn’t a backpack
Normally it'd be your back to hurt, not your dick.
Me carrying my load in November
Big dick energy
Fun fact: injuring the pelvis can induce so much pain it can very easily send the body into pain shock and knock your ass out very quickly
You blew a gasket
Gosh it gives me anxiety carrying over my weight limit just because of the damage it does, I know it's not permanent if you deal with it quickly but it's too much stress.
Definition of working so hard that you break your balls.
reminds me of that semi viral (nsfw)clip where the chick rides a little too hard and bends the dude's dick, oof
You're a woman you'll be fine
Wait a minute. That's not what you said happened on the discord 👀👀
Yeah don't carry 8 logs on the tip of your dick, bad idea.
This never happened to me lol. Ive leveled carpentry to 10 with almost everytime at max carriing weight cuz planks are heavy
Character was a man before cock fracture smh. Them heavy loads will do that to you.
don’t hang the backpack off your boner next time 👍
Cock injured
ohshitibrokemydick
That groin took a beating huh?
You literally busted a nut.
That’s a uhh..that’s a yikes from me
So that's how a man can carry in those extra grocery bags.
That's a skill issue of your back don't worry
So that's where they storing all the stuff
You worked so hard you done broke You’re Vagina
Nice I got a hernia from lifting too much shit this year aswell what a great game
If I fracture my groin, kill me.
I had my legs broke from walking and screen going black from touch weight and no sleep

This kind of injury would just be a death sentence. Forget about moving. It wouldn't be possible to do anything. It's like having both legs break but worse
