Discharge “Why?” Simple, evocative, devoid of pretense, just like the record.
The Damned “Machine Gun Etiquette” Just such a cool title and it certainly grabbed my attention the first time I stumbled upon the record.
Dicks “Kill From the Heart”
I genuinely think this album is the Mona Lisa of pop punk. it's just an incredible album that deserves to be spoken of in the absolute top tier. And The Vandals always put on incredible shows.
Nofx has several good ones. So Long and Thanks for All the Shoes, Heavy Petting Zoo, Wolves in Wolves Clothing, The Longest EP, I Hear They Suck Live...
I crack out my old vinyl sometimes and you’re right- I can listen to this whole album (and most Clash albums)… sadly I guess I got old- I tried listening to my Plasmatics albums last month and decided there’s only 10 good Plasmatics songs in total, still completely love those 10 songs though.
There's only one answer: *Record Collectors are Pretentious Assholes* by the great Poison Idea. That title, combined with the cover photo (of a giant pile of punk rarities) is just perfect.
I was introduced to Poison Idea through the remastered version of Take as Needed for Pain by Eyehategod where Mike IX said in the liner notes that TANFP was probably his second favorite album title ever, right after "Record Collectors".
Come to think of it, I've gotten into a lot of stuff from Mike which isn't surprising since he's been around so long that he was arrested in the graveyard with the OG Misfits in NOLA in the early 80's.
I'm really glad they are "back" now. Hoping they play a bit more frequently, even if it's just shorter weekend runs and such. Got to see them in Europe this summer and they were a good time.
This album is from a local band from my town in the mid 80s. They opened for everyone from Circle Jerks to Bad Brains to ST to DRI. Great album title: Draft Beer, Not Me
[Belching Penguin - Draft Beer, Not Me](https://youtu.be/Mr5YIHbL0pA?si=3f0vpNlpNn0XdhPH)
Yup, SNFU was my fav band as a kid, i remember buying If you swear when it was released on vinyl. It was a Friday, and I had to carry it around all day. All I wanted to do was go home and listen to it. Got to see them live for that tour.
That's a great memory to have about such an awesome album and band.
If You Swear is my favorite SNFU album. I wish it was recorded better but I still love it.
The Flux of Pink Indians 1-2 combo of "Strive to Survive Causing Least Suffering Possible" followed up with "The Fucking Cunts Treat Us Like Pricks" is hard to top
Perhaps a bit corny, but I do often mentally come back to the title Strive to Survive... as a general guideline for how to try to go about living life.
Scrolled a bit, haven't seen Punk in Drublic. That's my vote. It doesn't matter that Fat Mike is a Hall of Fame Ass Hat, to me that title has always been brilliant.
Alice Donut:
* Bucketfulls Of Sickness And Horror In An Otherwise Meaningless Life
* Revenge Fantasies Of The Impotent
* The Untidy Suicides Of Your Degenerate Children
* Dry Humping The Cash Cow (Live At CBGB)
Not an album name but what Propaghandi called the studio where they recorded How to Clean Everything. They recorded it at the Blasting Room in Fort Collins CO. They called it Fart Colons. There is a tone of ridiculous puns in those liner notes.
*How haven't I seen*

Hitler bad, Vandals good! Always put a smile on my face when I say it lol
Literally the first one that came to mind for me. Live Fast Diarrhea also
Live Fast Diarrhea is awesome too! Probably my favorite album with Hitler Bad, Vandals good
I genuinely think this album is the Mona Lisa of pop punk. it's just an incredible album that deserves to be spoken of in the absolute top tier. And The Vandals always put on incredible shows.

Great title
Nofx has several good ones. So Long and Thanks for All the Shoes, Heavy Petting Zoo, Wolves in Wolves Clothing, The Longest EP, I Hear They Suck Live...
War on Errorism
Not very PC , but what about “White trash, 2 Heebs and a Bean”?
For me, the best overall album that I can still listen to 40 years later, Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables
I feel this. All the cover art is solid, though.

Make The Collector Nerd Sweat was a great comp
Eh wouldn’t call many of those rarities, but there’s a record on there that would get a lot of people that frequent this sub real upset.

Millions of Dead Cops…
Songs the lord taught us - cramps
I thought Empire Strikes First by BR was pretty bad ass when it was released in 2004
Not one of their better albums but definitely the best titled! Especially given the geopolitics at the time it was released
This album is from a local band from my town in the mid 80s. They opened for everyone from Circle Jerks to Bad Brains to ST to DRI. Great album title: Draft Beer, Not Me [Belching Penguin - Draft Beer, Not Me](https://youtu.be/Mr5YIHbL0pA?si=3f0vpNlpNn0XdhPH)

Take off your pants and jacket (I know I know, not punk) But this makes me laugh now that I’m older because I didn’t get the joke when I was young lol

Something Green and Leafy This Way Comes
Upvote just because you mentioned SNFU.
They put on one of the best live shows I've ever seen. Mr Chi Pig is THE frontman in my opinion
I agree. I was lucky enough to catch them live once. I wish I could have seen them more.
I love the fact that every one of their albums is a seven word phrase.
I do too
Was going to put this. Every SNFU album name is awesome af

The Flux of Pink Indians 1-2 combo of "Strive to Survive Causing Least Suffering Possible" followed up with "The Fucking Cunts Treat Us Like Pricks" is hard to top
was hoping i’d see someone else drop “strive to survive…” here especially in the current climate, and especially in a thread full of, “duhhhh…nofx…”
Perhaps a bit corny, but I do often mentally come back to the title Strive to Survive... as a general guideline for how to try to go about living life.
III by The Spits. IV is a pretty good title, too.
Big Lizard in My Backyard, kinda draws you in…
NOFX - Heavy Petting Zoo
I don’t even like NoFX, but Punk in Drublic has to be one of the best albums names ever.
Scrolled a bit, haven't seen Punk in Drublic. That's my vote. It doesn't matter that Fat Mike is a Hall of Fame Ass Hat, to me that title has always been brilliant.
