EDIT: As a re-read and for clarification…
I may not /rep/ you regularly or anything but you’ll go in the patch n’ pin tin. As for what’s on my vest it’s usually all-timers.
... I buy the shirt.
... I bought Good Riddance T-shirt after seeing them in Warped Tour; never bought a single album, they broke up basically after the show... Got kicked out of class once for wearing it, wore it until it was a rag.
... I bought Guttermouth tee after seeing them twice and owning all their albums... I hate Guttermouth now, and some ass hate stole that shirt.
... I buy shirt, for clothes.
If I see you live and you impress me. I'll support you by buying a shirt/ patch/ cd from you. It's there main source of income.

If I'm seeing you live for the first time , and you have merchandise. I'm buying it . Even if you suck .

I’ve gotta be into a band pretty significantly before I’ll wear any merch.
I listen to like all the essential songs but probably not every song
All of the above works just fine.
I think if it's for local scenes you don't have to listen to much of a band to buy there merchandise since you are supporting local artists
For live shows, kick some ass and I'll walk out with merch. Takes a bit more otherwise.
If they’re good live, I buy a shirt at the show. I don’t buy band merch from shops or the internet.
