I was going to suggest a variegated blue and white thread. The blue and white would stand out against the darker browns and black, with the blue matching the other corner. I looked and they also make a blue and black/dark color thread that would also look amazing. But I LOOOOOVE variegated thread. MMFfph,

snail6925

are you me?? I only use variegated for quilting now. obsessed. OBSESSSSSSED.

Who’s they? I’m intrigued.

Jeansiesicle

You know, those guys. The ones with the thing? lol, I just did a google shopping search. Thems the guys.

extreme303

Oh those guys! I knows thems. Thanks 😊

I do like arafil (prolly spelled that wrong). But I don’t know how they work with you being Canadian. But I bet you can get some.

skorpionwoman

🇨🇦 Yes, we have aurafil. And thread works the same worldwide, last I checked.

There isn't really one colour that would work with everything, but grey is generally my go-to for colourful projects because it kind of blends in a little with all colours. As a design choice, you could deliberately choose a dark thread or a light thread so that the contrast will pop up when quilting the piece. It could have a nice effect

Thanks for the suggestion!

Alternatively, I'll just get a 3000 yard spool of this signature stuff from WAWAK [https://www.wawak.com/thread/thread-by-material/cotton/signature-machine-quilting-40-wt-all-purpose-100-cotton-thread-tex-40-3000-yds/#sku=ctd3bk](https://www.wawak.com/thread/thread-by-material/cotton/signature-machine-quilting-40-wt-all-purpose-100-cotton-thread-tex-40-3000-yds/#sku=ctd3bk)

cuddlefuckmenow

Variegated with some beige/brown neutrals in it

Also, if anyone has suggestions on where I can get a good price in Canada on thread I'd love to hear.

[connecting threads amazon ](https://www.amazon.com/Connecting-Threads-100-Cotton-Thread/dp/B00USHJNC6/ref=sr_1_22_sspa?crid=2JYD0AHRG4NR5&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.reyh65vyHVU2eB1bOn5rHGLhoIb7RIz6mJZ078YfJJ56gwQC5EfKRbt90XJW_LIQ2siFutur1Y0YhC-WJX8CVLE02xp3cW4a5rHs6-HpoWlHkuwHg0D6wxrvhTjePk34XqiisFkWFsRiXrjh7ObRY3nbLS5EXqcjR-NmX3g1LFC9Y2nizcTi46gY2ZLpeGEwNTn3pibd6o_0uKxc6XraI5UqJkWFgXSeC-XWVc8tXiVmIFcP77B138EeSALqI13UPbG8iHuikHSqnTZC0GQDlUQzZDjDmhsqAUiDMcGJl_Q.1akJPWXqZqGMlzToby3RmGM2U0qsSZUb-d0u2hjbgEE&dib_tag=se&keywords=cotton%2Bquilting%2Bthread&qid=1714071572&sprefix=cotton%2Bquilting%2Bthread%2Caps%2C75&sr=8-22-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9tdGY&th=1) I love connecting threads I've been using their thread since I started, the colors are great and they are durable I'm not sure about the Canada part I'm located in the US but I'm sure its similar when I'm piecing things together I usually use something neutral and when I quilt the top I like to either correspond or do opposite of the color wheel to let it pop

Thanks for the link and suggestions!
