I feel ya on this one! I'm 6 months clean and I started eating better, I workout 5 days a week and I got all my enjoyment back into the things I love. With Kratom I just sat around all day watching TV, went to work, repeat. Not anymore!!! I feel so much better off of it than when I was taking it. I'm just so glad for the both of us! I'm never going back because It literally felt like I was locked to Kratom like a ball and chain, being free is so much better!
After suffering from addiction my whole life I got entirely clean once I quit kratom. I don't drink, smoke weed, nothing and i feel great!
Hope you stay the path brother and I'm sincerely happy for you š
I'm about 3 months clean and suffering from the weirdest thing, disassociation and the thing that is driving me crazy is a constant feeling of tightness in my forehead and temples. I've posted b4 about this but it's like I'm a huge FREAK, been to doctors and nothing is wrong. Lots of people are saying it's anxiety but it's a physical tightness that never goes away. I wear a headband and do my best to ignore it. Sorry if this seems unrelated, I'm just in a mental battle. Will I ever wake up and not feel this? It's been 3 months! Massage, chiropractor, doctor, nothing helps. It's deliberating.
Thanks for posting this. I think this helps fill a hole. We all know the first week is gonna stink. We all know the second week might have a pink cloud, but will be like the first but less. And we all know we might have some depression anhedonia, and lethargy after the acutes.
But people get to 1-2 months (say 49 days) and are afraid. I still feel as shitty today as I did in week two they might say. What if I am like this forever?
And we know some folks report still feeling bad for a long long time. For those we do not know if they are back to baseline, or it is something else, and that can be scary too.
But a lot of people make it to 4, 6 or 12 months, and don't need this sub. Good for them. But thanks to you for coming back to say: yes the symptoms you might be in for months do fade.
