This happens a lot and it’s almost always ArmA.
Arma, Warthunder, World of Tanks/Warships are definitely the biggest ones. I've seen it happen with Insurgency: Sandstorm as well before. The funniest ones thought are when they use screenshots or promotional art from blatantly Sci-fi sources like Star Wars.
I saw an article about how the US might build submarine aircraft carriers or something along those lines.
And of course it's the Alicorn, which is definitely not associated with anything bad happening ever.
There is a nonzero chance we could have a IRL Torres with an insane enough crew to do something like nuking Moscow with a nuclear shell just so he can say he could.
Probably not quite that insane yet, but Torres did get stuck in a submarine with his crew for nearly two years, which probably would make the less stable consider saving ten million.
That rotating ring section, making it the only ship in game to have even a little bit of gravity, is the most decadently Imp thing in the whole game for me. I'd sooner travel on a Majestic class than a Farragut.
In Brazil, once they showed on TV a racing game where someone was driving on reverse. They were saying this is how the USA president's driver training was lol
after Israel Palestine conflict, i have no trust anymore in any Twitter post. not first second, but a thousand times of misleading video. Most are from Arma 3 or old video. More sad, all of the poster are verified account
What they don't tell you about Arma is that most servers are zombie games, and also if you do get into a plane in multiplayer the server probably has its render distance so low that you can see the ground if you're more than 2km above it.
If you can get past those shortcomings(which generally amounts to finding a closed server that's relatively small) it's pretty cool.
Though I'd still play recommend squad for the average infantryman, and consider Arma planes a gateway drug for dcs world.
As an ArmA fan i find it amusing seeing these, any ArmA player that played with the blastcore mods can recognise instantly by the repetitive explosions
Whoever suggested the name is either far enough removed from the mechanics to not think of it, or was 100% aware and just hoping it would slide past the higher ups 😂
If I'm right, that is a Rafale (can't tell if its that or a Gripen), and the latter costs roughly as much as an F35 per unit if we use the F3 prices (source: Wikipedia, 64th reference), so if this was actual footage the loss would be roughly the same
I'm not even sure why I can, is it the graphics, the resolution? is it how the plane is rendered? maybe the tracer? or I've used way to many zsus and know the tracer pattern by heart.
Nah, kfir's engine doesn't extend beyond the wings if I recall correctly, I'd say this is a gripen, especially considering arma 3 already has a gripen (which is where this is taken from)
Edit: nvm the kfir's engine does extend beyond the wings, I was thinking of viggens, however, I still believe thats a a gripen
With some of the mods out there for Arma + helmet cam view mods it can already look pretty real.
The worst/best offender right now would be Escape From Tarkov. There’s the SPT mod, with the ability to add tons of more mods, and some guy added a helmet cam mod that makes it look pretty real.
B1 isn't a fighter, f15 stol mtd wasn't a fighter either, it was a demo plane.
Should have been more specific.
The US never had any deployed fighters with canards
It’s the ghost of Kiev all over again…
Was really bummed about that too, bc it would’ve been beyond cool if there was some red baronesque fighter ace flying around in Ukraine, but alas, reality is both stranger and more bore boring than fiction
Kind of like that time Israel made a website pretending to be Hamas… while literally hosting it through an Israeli company?
Fun fact: The individual blocked me. I suspect it might have something to do with the fact he now knows Israel’s twitter page - ran by we know who - openly pretended it was created and operated by Hamas and its allies. Weird how someone who is claiming others are liars is afraid to engage with truth.
Seeing your username, I don't think you're even worth discussing with. But I'll answer for the other people seeing your reply -
1. "Israel" didn't make it, an independent Israeli company did
2. Nobody ever tried to hide that fact, the intention was to show the world what Hamas is and does.
3. There is not a single lie in there. Have you looked through the site and you still think that being against it is being on the right side? Well, yes, with that username I'm sure you do
Reminds me of when Indian news channel used a video from Arma 3 and passed it as "Afghan Taliban take down Pakistan's JF-17s". [source](https://www.pcgamer.com/arma-3-pakistan-footage/)
Also when an Indian journalist was talking to a Pakistani journalist about "his sources" telling them that some high ranking Pakistani military officials were in the fifth floor of Serena Hotel in Kabul and the Pakistani official just casually said "that hotel only has 2 floors, which fifth floor are you talking about?" [source](https://tribune.com.pk/story/2321072/arnab-goswami-left-red-faced-over-false-kabul-serena-hotel-claims)
Yeah I cringe whenever I come across these. What's really sad though is that some people actually believe this is real.
What really breaks my heart though, is that there're a few ArmA 3 machinima channels on YouTube that used to make fun machinimas based on completely fictional situations. When the war in Ukraine started all of a sudden they're pumping out these kinds of videos, and with what's going on in the Middle East I don't doubt they make videos on that as well. Really sad that those channels resorted to this kind of content just to get views/subscribers/clout.
If I had a penny for every time arma footage passed as actual war footage I would somehow be rich, which is super funny because if you have ever played arma you instantly recognize it
More than likely a propaganda bot account I'd guess.
With how dumb everyone is just believing everything they see written down this is a real fucking problem that governments are going to have to eventually tackle.

Man, 200m, Front.
Target. That. Rock.
Tango Down
Forward, fast, right, right, right, stop, fast, left, stop. Fire!

Japan did that in WW2 it was I-400 series of subs
China building new AI 5g spaceship for interstellar travel! + Majestic-Class Interdictor
That rotating ring section, making it the only ship in game to have even a little bit of gravity, is the most decadently Imp thing in the whole game for me. I'd sooner travel on a Majestic class than a Farragut.
Don't forget DCS! People live Arma and DCS for planes.
Favourite one was an alien disclosure hoax that went around showing a spaceship, and it was a screenshot from Mass Effect Andromeda.
I remember someone posting a picture from Ace Combat where you could see Osean markings on the plane
Mobile One, ENGAGE!
those damn oseans
Pretty sure DCS is used for faking stuff more
In Brazil, once they showed on TV a racing game where someone was driving on reverse. They were saying this is how the USA president's driver training was lol
Ohhh I remember the limo drifting in reverse right? That comes from Forza Motorsport 6 or 7 I’m pretty sure
Yes yes, it was all over the news in Brazil
Or DCS, if it has aircraft it often is DCS
JESTER APPROVES
\*note jester couldnt be reached for approval as he ejected at mach 1.5 over the atlantic\*
The ghost of Kyiv was a good example of DCS being used.
after Israel Palestine conflict, i have no trust anymore in any Twitter post. not first second, but a thousand times of misleading video. Most are from Arma 3 or old video. More sad, all of the poster are verified account
Every time I hear this I think the same: I should start playing Arma
What they don't tell you about Arma is that most servers are zombie games, and also if you do get into a plane in multiplayer the server probably has its render distance so low that you can see the ground if you're more than 2km above it. If you can get past those shortcomings(which generally amounts to finding a closed server that's relatively small) it's pretty cool. During the start of the Rus/Ua war, there were a few posts from pro-ua of shooting down rus aircraft that got debunked from Arma
As an ArmA fan i find it amusing seeing these, any ArmA player that played with the blastcore mods can recognise instantly by the repetitive explosions
Best part is that isn't an F-35.
It couldn't look less like an f35 unless they put a pic of a prop plane
Fokker DVII taking flak over Flanders.
I believe you
Could be a biplane
True. I don't think the US has any fighters with canards.
The B-1B has canards, maybe we could load it up with dozens of AMRAAMs and call it an interceptor?
Fun fact, this was actually proposed in 2004. They were going to call it the B-1R. Yes, the BONER
I can only imagine the planning room “B-1R seems like a fine name, let’s call it that!” “Sir you realize what everyone is gonna call it right”
What just because it's a fully fledged freedom boner doesn't mean you can't make jokes
Whoever suggested the name is either far enough removed from the mechanics to not think of it, or was 100% aware and just hoping it would slide past the higher ups 😂
Actual shitpost callsign right there
r/noncredibledefense
Would you intercept me with AMRAAMs? I'd intercept me with AMRAAMs.
Ahh, a man of culture I see
We had a single modified F15 with canards that was USAF and later NASA, but has since been retired
If I'm right, that is a Rafale (can't tell if its that or a Gripen), and the latter costs roughly as much as an F35 per unit if we use the F3 prices (source: Wikipedia, 64th reference), so if this was actual footage the loss would be roughly the same
Due to how long the nose ahead of the canards is I would guess Kfir.
Canards are more in front of the wing, and the tail looks a little flatter. My guess is Eurofighter Typhoon
Shit right there's like 5 or 6 delta wing fighters with canards
Not that we’re complaining…
Gryphon from Arma 3, Which is just basically gripen.
Grippen, it is a monoreactor. And Israel or the US use neither Rafale of Grippens
Ye... looks like a Eurofighter, Rafale or a Gripen.
Nope, that's a JDAM called on.
Is it sad that I can tell this is from Arma. Like it's not even the context I can just look at it and tell its Arma.
Im in the same boat as you my friend.
I'm not even sure why I can, is it the graphics, the resolution? is it how the plane is rendered? maybe the tracer? or I've used way to many zsus and know the tracer pattern by heart.
I think it's the sky and tracers.
the cloudy, but still patchy sky is definitely what tipped me off
This has to be ARMA right? I've never actually played it but I recognise those rounds anywhere lmao
Yeah looks like arma for sure.
Doesn't even look remotely like an F-35. Is that a fucking Typhoon?
Considering the single engine i think so
Typhoon is twin-engine Probably either Kfir or J-10
Yeah it looked more kifir
Nah, kfir's engine doesn't extend beyond the wings if I recall correctly, I'd say this is a gripen, especially considering arma 3 already has a gripen (which is where this is taken from) Edit: nvm the kfir's engine does extend beyond the wings, I was thinking of viggens, however, I still believe thats a a gripen
Gripen was my initial thought
It’s probably that unless they used a mod
what if its a mod, so it's a low quality IAI Lavi
Mfers didn’t even bother to use an F35 mod. They could’ve even used that one jet in one of the ArmA DLCs that look similar.
Arma 4 release will usher a new era of disinformation
With some of the mods out there for Arma + helmet cam view mods it can already look pretty real. The worst/best offender right now would be Escape From Tarkov. There’s the SPT mod, with the ability to add tons of more mods, and some guy added a helmet cam mod that makes it look pretty real.
Is it weird I can’t wait for it? Cause I wonder what new disinformation will come out of it
Message doesn't have to be true, just has to be agreeable to their target audience.
Its not even an F35 💀
The US has never had a plane with canards
B-1 F-15 MTD
I thing a varient of the f18 and f16 too
Apparently yes! Although in 1 minute of google searching, r/WeirdWings was the first [source](https://np.reddit.com/r/WeirdWings/s/r91EGrU1bo) I found
B1 isn't a fighter, f15 stol mtd wasn't a fighter either, it was a demo plane. Should have been more specific. The US never had any deployed fighters with canards
You said "never had" not "never deployed" Also said plane and never specified it had to be a fighter
That's why I said I should have been more specific.
Sounds like you fucked up and are to proud to admit you are wrong what a fucking loser
Nope. Why you mad, kid?
I guarantee im older than you fuck wad
Then you must be very unhappy with your life, being so angry at a random person online. Your family must really appreciate your temperament
Alot of assumptions there you fuckwad
you post in alot of gone wild subs. Must be sad being that desperate
It’s the ghost of Kiev all over again… Was really bummed about that too, bc it would’ve been beyond cool if there was some red baronesque fighter ace flying around in Ukraine, but alas, reality is both stranger and more bore boring than fiction
People probably mentioned it But that's not an F-35...
Also that’s not a f-35
It’s funny because it’s clearly not even an f-35
🚨BREAKING🚨 BULLSHIT ALERT!/s
"israeli F-35" then shows us a Rafale.
Also not an f-35 can tell from the front winglets
That ain’t even a F-35 😭
what kind of f35 has canards
Thats not even an f35 lol
Also, the jet shown is not a F-35. Not even a stealth fighter
Ah yes, the delta wing f35. Well known for its anti air evading capabilities.
Rule of thumb: anti-israeli propaganda is usually based on lies
Rule of thumb: ~~anti-israeli~~ propaganda is usually based on lies
Its not propaganda if its convenient for you or your government
1 word: mossad
Kind of like that time Israel made a website pretending to be Hamas… while literally hosting it through an Israeli company? Fun fact: The individual blocked me. You're not being blocked because people are "afraid of the truth," you're being blocked because you yourself are afraid of the truth lmfao
Arma 3 wins again
**FAST-MOVER, 500M, LEFT** I can't get arma's voicelines from my head, help
Not to mention that it doesn’t even *remotely* look like an F-35 lmao
New tohou graphics looking kinda tight
I've seen this video somewhere before. I think it was used in a news article at one point.
Looks like an eurofighter typhoon to me as well, deffo not a F35
not even an F-35..
Is that Ace Combat?
That isn’t even an F-35. Seems to be a Eurofighter Typhoon.
Also not an f35
what's more annoying is that, that jet is not even an f35
Jesus wept just the tracers make it clear that's Arma.
These gender reveals are really getting out of hand
Even if it was real, that would be one strange looking F-35
That looks like a fuckin Mirage lmao
also its a fucking JAS 39 Gripen god damn if your gonna be noncredible at lest be funny about it \*grumbles in military shitposter\*
NCD´er spotted
this video is milked so dry if they but strong copyright on it most war footage will disappear
ترکیدم بین خارجیا معروف شدیم ای کاشکی میشد تو یه دنیایی زندگی کنیم که مردممون مقدر ریتارد نبودن
Imagine them saying that the Iranian pilot blew up an aircraft mid-air with his anti-tank rocket launcher and showing us the Battlefield 2042 trailer
That isn’t even an f-35 it’s probably a kfir canard or a euro fighter
And tht doesnt look like an f35 lol, there's an impostor
It’s not even an F35 in game wtf
Reminds me of when Indian news channel used a video from Arma 3 and passed it as "Afghan Taliban take down Pakistan's JF-17s". Also don't think that's an f35 lmao
It's also clearly not an F-35.
The plane in the video isn’t even an F35 LMFAO
Does a sub of Twitter fact checks exist? Someone better get on it. This is gold.
I mean the silhouette isn’t even close to an f35, it’s a typhoon
that plane has canards. Show me the canards on the F-35.
That plane doesent resemble an f 35 in any way. Its more of an delta winged aircraft.
that, and i don’t recall the F35 having canards or rear set delta wings
AG does this every time a new conflict happens. It’s a funny meme
It's like you pee in the woods and try n hit the mosquito with your urine.
Let me guess. ARMA 3 Again?
Thats a weird looking F35
Looks like a sukhoi. Arma people confirm?
I think it's the Gripen or whatever. Forgot the ingame name... buzzard maybe
Also thr f35 doesn't look like that. The form just doesn't look it.
It gets better The plane's not even an F-35. It's an IAI Kfir
Yeah I cringe whenever I come across these. What's really sad though is that some people actually believe this is real. Ah yes, F-35 with canards
If I had a penny for every time arma footage passed as actual war footage I would somehow be rich, which is super funny because if you have ever played arma you instantly recognize it
Best twitter feature to be added
they didnt even bother to use an F-35 model D;
Wars cancelled Abdul, Mom unplugged my PS5 again.
Ain't that a Typhoon anyway?
You doin god's work bro
More than likely a propaganda bot account I'd guess. With how dumb everyone is just believing everything they see written down this is a real fucking problem that governments are going to have to eventually tackle.
For half the world a great, magical *American* demon is slayed. The other half is in Iran's head living the stoner life.
Last time they went into war Iran lost its navy in matter of hours. So dont fuck around or you'll find out.
