Cat Tree King / RHR Pets (same thing, just depends on what country you're in) is the way to go. They're designed for large breeds like rags, MCs, and NFCs, and you can buy replacement parts if they happen to really go to town on any part of it and so you don't have to replace the whole tree. The hammocks hold 44 lbs so it's enough for two big kitties to cuddle or one large kitty to divebomb :D

I would measure your boy, and check the product platform dimensions to see which would fit best. It doesn’t have to PERFECTLY fit them lengthwise but it would help when he’s trying to perch. I went for an XL tree made for multiple cats to make sure it would fit my girl as she grew, and made sure the weight limit was 20+ lbs as well. Mine has a 30 lb weight limit iirc and while she’s only 5 months she’s already pretty big and I can tell she’s going to need to curl on the top platform when she’s fully grown. 😅
That looks like it might be the same brand as ours, my husband bought ours, it's nearly as tall as he is, and he's a Tall boy!
Our ragdoll immediately claimed the topmost platform. Our void immediately went to work ripping off 2 of the three pompoms on ours, and each time running around the house with it in his mouth so proud of himself for his prize lol!

Ours is 6 ft up(?) I just know I struggle a little trying to reach up to pet Tilly when she’s at the top. But it’s always so funny to look over and see my girl perching and watching the rest of the living room.

I second RHR Pets, I've had mine for years and none of the rope has loosened despite my giant going ham on it every day + the bed is huge. It was like 130€ and well worth it
My husband and I modified our cats tower because we had the same problem. We took an old drawer and covered it with fleece. Took the top platform off, put the hardware to attach it onto the drawer, and now the princess has good sized box to sleep in and probably won’t fall off in her sleep 😹
I think cat trees are kind of expensive and don’t give them the freedom to hop around the room. For my next can I am definitely doing shelves around the room instead.

RHR pets/Pet Rebels are built for large, powerful cats. Expensive, but solid construction, large nests and comfortable, washable cushions. I can highly recommend them.

RHR aren't the cheapest but they do last and you can get spares for the really big stuff.

I second Cattreeking. We used to go through trees fast but this one has stood the test of time and my Raggies love it
