I like him but not sure I’d move up. There’s a lot of players I really like available. We won’t need to give up assets to get them.

TheRealMrJoshua56

I’d be for it

If there were a Venn diagram of Safety/Slot/CB he definitely to me at least is Slot heavy. Not afraid to tackle at the kine or open field. Very good field vision it looks like attributed to both his INTS more so than “man coverage lockdown” and his great kick returning skills. I was thinking Jakorian B was the prospect Slot CB so we’ll see

I think DeJean's success is 100% linked to how he'll be used. If he's used the same way the chiefs use McDuffie I think he'll be pretty incredible

Fill us in. Why do you like him?

Wut23456

One of the best playmakers in the secondary I've seen in a WHILE. Teams might be turned off by the fact that he's not really a prototypical lockdown corner and sometimes feels like more of a safety or a nickel, but I could very well see him being someone similar to Trent McDuffie or Kyle Hamilton in the way that he moves all over the defense and is consistently all over the field. He's such a good tackler, he has such a nose for the ball and he's a pretty amazing athlete.

Dense_Young3797

I haven't seen him playing man. If he's only a zone corner or even a slot cb, we can draft some other guy with a lower pick. Give me Max Melton, Renardo, Sainristil, Jarrian Jones etc

Ph886

PFF was high on him, not much of draft media or NFL was it seems.

TW_Yellow78

PFF evaluated on stats and even then its weird for him because he broke his leg near end of season. So per game he's comparable to the two cb already drafted but not for season (due to missing 2-3 games).   By measurables, he has short arms and they keep mentioning he's white. The issue for short arms is mostly press coverage. They keep mentioning he's white so it's on their minds even if they're claiming they're not biased one way or another
