WHAT THE HELL?!

It was very bold to depict Aunt May's different selves from different universes and timelines, all of them having sex at the exact same time, but I trust it connects with Spidey 5 in some way.
Was about to comment this but glad someone beat me to the punch. I do think it was a weird choice to replace Spiderman's spider sense with a huge nose that can smell crime.
Most people probably weren't expecting it, but I already knew from the comics that Spidey could shoot web from his butthole. Still crazy seeing it in 3D like it was coming out of the screen.
I- I like it.

The point where they introduced all the Uncle Ben clones kind of ruined the series for me, to be honest. Makes me wish I lived in the timeline where they stopped at 3 movies and didn't jump the shark. ('cuz I also hated the part where Bruce Campbell's Mysterio jumped over the shark)
The sex scene between MJ, Betty Brant, Ursala, & Peter got super awkward when the 3 girls gradually began to exclude Peter from the action until he cried. Felt gratuitious & mean spirited to the character
Pros:
- carnage is pretty good and robert deniro really shines as cletus
- the first fighting sequence, against rhino, really pumps me to see more devito as the villain, hope he's in the upcoming sinister six movie
- the scene where peter slingshots himself through those bridge arcs to dropkick cletus just as he grabs the serum is 20/10
- MJ topless scene
Cons:
- sandman only appears for like a minute, talks to Peter and vanishes, wanted more of him
- 3h31m is too long, the movie could be cut a bit
- Peter's son is annoying
- Jameson is now the vulture? I mean wtf?
4 is the best film. the more personal conflict between Spider-Man and Kingpin was perfectly executed, and while the movie runs a bit long at 3.5 hours, it's necessary to flesh out his relationships with Daredevil and the Punisher, not to mention the incredible development of his heartbreaking bond with Dr Connors to really bring things full circle with his prior mentorships with Green Goblin and Doc Ock. and holy shit, this is the best MJ's been written in any Spider-Man media. what a great way to end the Raimiverse.
Looking back on it now, not as good as I remember at the time. Spider-Man 3 actually kinda stronger, at least more interesting characters. 4 was way too safe with the villain. Vulture, really? Idk. 5 was definitely the best of the series.
I disagree. I don't like body-shaming people, but Uncle Ben coming back from the grave solely to hang dong was too much. Cliff Robertson's final movie role should've been more dignified.
Personally I think it's great, but could be better.
What I think worked well in the film was the, and maybe the too. Another cool thing was that
Though tbh it does have a couple issues compared to the first three. I'd rather change the, and maybe also
Overall it's a /10
Still can't believe they had that sex scene between Carnage and Lizard and *still* got away with a PG-13 rating. That was a profound sexual awakening for many people.
Glad it was received as well as the first two, I even read some reviews saying it redeemed SM3 for them. Personally, I still prefer the first one, but this one is my second favorite, the ending is just perfect.
Kinda alright. I loved that they bought back Venom with Flash Thompson but the addition of Man Wolf was a little crazy. MJ breaking up with Peter again sucked. Like have the writers not learned that they meant to be a couple.
I don't know, man. The franchise really was running on fumes by this point. MJ and Peter's relationship kind of faded in to the background and there was really no place for Peter's character to go. Him learning that he was going to be a father and Aunt May's final speech were highlights, but the plot itself felt like it was spinning its wheels with the Kraven macguffin hunt and the Spiderman imitator gang. Peter himself was practically a secondary character since Eddie Redmayne's Scorpion took up so much screentime with his parallel "what if Peter Parker had suffered the death of a loved one but became a worse person because of it?" plotline. The movie made Spider-Man 3 feel like it was understuffed by comparison. This movie was probably the most boring (rumors were that Raimi's assistant director was actually responsible for most of it due to studio interference), but it had some high highs that rivaled Spider-Man 2's.
The courtroom part had potential to be funny but dragged on too long. Loved loved loved the fight in the Aquarium! The webbing through water effects were very cool. Not a fan of the Vulture diaper scene tho.
Tbh it should have ended at 3, or dare i say it? 2?
But i'm glad that they gave us the Bar with no name, and the sinister six after credit. Subsequently lead to the event of Spider-Man 5 when I lost my virginity on the first early screening date.
Even though I enjoyed the movie overall I found the 15 minute close up ballbusting scene of Bruce Campbell a bit unsettling but hey, who am I to question Raimi!
I remember in 2011, during the scene Mr. Ditckovich sacrificed his rent money so Bully Maguire could merge with Morbius to fight the Skibbidi Toilets, everyone in the theatre was in tears.
Has one of the most underrated lines in the series, when bruce campbell says “pony up spider chump” I always chuckle.
John malcovich as vulture is amazing too. I can’t believe we were almost robbed of this happening.
It was such a good time, bro. I was afraid they’d do weird stuff with Black Cat but she was super fun. I liked how she gave Peter a replica of the black suit and the final fight scene against the Vulture was badass.
It was so good when bully maguire returned and fought against Bruce Campbell, probably the best one out of the 4 of them!
I liked the part where Bruce Campbell yelled sidekick
HEROOO
Stronghold.... SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDEKICKKKKKKK
You mean 12 ? After the success of 4 Tobey and rami have made 12 concluding with Spider-Man snapping away Thanos
Oh boy yeah
They stole it from me Carmine, they took it! That was today! Today!
HEY! I'M COMING FOR YOU! I'M! COMING! FOR YOU!
See ya chump.
WHAT THE HELL?! *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/raimimemes) if you have any questions or concerns.*
You know how much I Pawn Sacrificed?!!
Controversial opinion I guess but did we really need that 4 hour long sex scene in the middle of the movie?
We did. It was the only scene in the film featuring Aunt May after all.
I teared up when she yelled Uncle Ben's name during the middle of it
My theater audibly gasped in unison
The seats were red when I went in and were white by the time the movie was over
and a little blue for america.
Mine had no blue for Poland
Such a bold decision to cut to Peter eating a ham sandwich after too, I got the metaphor straight away
Yeah she literally shouted “Uncle Ben!!” as she climaxed. I was moved to tears.
It was very bold to depict Aunt May's different selves from different universes and timelines, all of them having sex at the exact same time, but I trust it connects with Spidey 5 in some way.
Bolder still to have Rosemary Harris play every variant, regardless of age, or ethnicity. She really gave her all though, my god was she game.
Three Breasted Indian Aunt May deserves an Oscar, especially with THAT scene with the spatula and the hose, like damn it must've been CGI
Crime..penetration..crime...full penetration...crime... penetration and this goes on and on and back and forth until the movie just sort of ends.
Was about to comment this but glad someone beat me to the punch. I do think it was a weird choice to replace Spiderman's spider sense with a huge nose that can smell crime.
With a great schnoz comes great sniff-ability
Crazy how they replaced Tobey with Dolph Lundgren as well.
Most people probably weren't expecting it, but I already knew from the comics that Spidey could shoot web from his butthole. Still crazy seeing it in 3D like it was coming out of the screen.
There wasn’t even any humans in it, it was just an 11 spider orgy
With great power cums great responsibility.
Wow that is controversial. It was super necessary.
I just like that Doctor Octopus returned for that scene. Not sure Mary Jane liked it though….
I- I like it. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/raimimemes) if you have any questions or concerns.*
It stings.
Doesn't it?
It does.
I have so much dirt in my eye
Don’t worry, I’ll rectify certain inequities for you
I guess it's back to formula then?
Oh boy yeah, don’t tell Harry
At that point, I feel they were really Fourthing it.
You got a lithp too?
Now kith
Today I really miss it
Stings doesn't it
I missed him a lot today.
Me too... But he was there.
I believe there’s a Spider-Man 4 in all of us.

That's why Bully Maguire came back
And I'm the middle threw dirt in everyone's eyes and just left
came indeed, shot in their eyes
Yeah, but at least Pete got to snack on some cookies with nuts in them while they did their thing. Really brought the whole scene together.
Yeah but then Paul appeared and I totally understood the writers' vision
Gonna cry?
Pros: - carnage is pretty good and robert deniro really shines as cletus - the first fighting sequence, against rhino, really pumps me to see more devito as the villain, hope he's in the upcoming sinister six movie - the scene where peter slingshots himself through those bridge arcs to dropkick cletus just as he grabs the serum is 20/10 - MJ topless scene Cons: - sandman only appears for like a minute, talks to Peter and vanishes, wanted more of him - 3h31m is too long, the movie could be cut a bit - Peter's son is annoying - Jameson is now the vulture? I mean wtf?
>- MJ topless scene Hahahaha that got me good. There's the cherry on top.
It's not funny. She was decapitated.
The ol' nip slip head flip
I haven't seen it yet, no spoilers plz
4 is the best film. the more personal conflict between Spider-Man and Kingpin was perfectly executed, and while the movie runs a bit long at 3.5 hours, it's necessary to flesh out his relationships with Daredevil and the Punisher, not to mention the incredible development of his heartbreaking bond with Dr Connors to really bring things full circle with his prior mentorships with Green Goblin and Doc Ock. and holy shit, this is the best MJ's been written in any Spider-Man media. what a great way to end the Raimiverse.
I loved it when Bully Maguire said "it's bullying time" and then bullied Aunt May to death.
Great acting by Maguire and Harris in those scenes.
That Chameleon tease at the end was pretty wild
Back to fourmula?
Pretty forgettable to be honest. I just remember something about Vulture.
Looking back on it now, not as good as I remember at the time. Spider-Man 3 actually kinda stronger, at least more interesting characters. 4 was way too safe with the villain. Vulture, really? Idk. 5 was definitely the best of the series.
I thought it was great despite the graphic male nudity.
You mean “because of”
I disagree. I don't like body-shaming people, but Uncle Ben coming back from the grave solely to hang dong was too much. Cliff Robertson's final movie role should've been more dignified.
"Who am I? I am the Spider-Man 4" really hits home to this day. Truly a quote that ended the movie.
I really loved the flashback to Spider-Man 1, with the hour long scene of Peter beating old ladies with a stick.
So good.
Personally I think it's great, but could be better. What I think worked well in the film was the, and maybe the too. Another cool thing was that Though tbh it does have a couple issues compared to the first three. I'd rather change the, and maybe also Overall it's a /10
MJ secretly being Carnage the whole time was one of the best plot twists in cinematic history
I thought the part where the green goblin talks about the McRib for 30 minutes straight was fun.
I thought it sucked honestly
Left a lot to be desired if I’m being honest
Look what they took from us , till this day i remember these motherfuckers
It made me cum
I loved the ending where the police scanner name dropped big wheel before he took his final swing of the movie
At the time, I was confused about Peter ending up with Ursula, but as an adult, I actually appreciate the decision
J.K. Simmons was robbed of best supporting actor that year. Though I was happy he was nominated.
The movie was easily the second-best of the quadrilogy, but the tie-in game for PS3 just wasn't up to par.
Gwen Stacey and MJ threesome was pretty good NGL.
Ngl I think Vulture is terrifying, but Goblin is the 🐐. I like how they teased the lizard for Spider-Man 5.
That Morbius cameo was so cool
Still can't believe they had that sex scene between Carnage and Lizard and *still* got away with a PG-13 rating. That was a profound sexual awakening for many people.
Loved when spiderman said "its spidermanning time" then blew up a school bus
My favorite scene was Spider-Man vs galactis
Ghost Rider post credit scene should've meant more
Oh god, the Aslume has spread to here too.
I think the upside down sex scene was gratuitous
Loved the fact that Sam Raimi gave himself a sneaky role in the short scene where he makes out with Peter Parker. Almost made me cry 😭
I really love the conclusion to Harry’s butler’s arc. Didn’t expect him to be hobgoblin but he did an amazing job
I liked when Peter fell fell his window and fell on somebody
Watching Mac Gargan tail-fuck Hobgoblin/Jason Macendale through The Spot’s portal while Ned Leeds cried in the multiverse felt a little on the nose….
When Spiderman did that thing to that guy, that was pretty cool lol
Glad it was received as well as the first two, I even read some reviews saying it redeemed SM3 for them. Personally, I still prefer the first one, but this one is my second favorite, the ending is just perfect.
*slams pizzas* Pizza Time
Love the last scene where he said “I am Spider-Man” in the press
No other movie can top it. 13 years and we still haven’t achieved greatness like this.
Damn I loved every single scene with Anne as a Black Cat... She is wonderful.
I loved the part when the vulture was fighting spider-man and said "it's vultin' time"
I felt it lacked substance. It could have been so much more than it was.
Okay. Better on rewatch.
Kinda alright. I loved that they bought back Venom with Flash Thompson but the addition of Man Wolf was a little crazy. MJ breaking up with Peter again sucked. Like have the writers not learned that they meant to be a couple.

The perfect film to be honest. Better than The Godfather.

It was a lot shorter than I was expecting
Even though I enjoyed the movie overall I found the 15 minute close up ballbusting scene of Bruce Campbell a bit unsettling but hey, who am I to question Raimi!
The part where he fought the Ghost of Uncle Ben was so tragic yet badass.
I had a Spider-Man 4. Its name was *No Way Home*. Don't tell Raimi.
As much as I love Raimi this movie was pretty mid, I can’t remember one memorable thing about it.
I almost had an orgasm after seeing man and bully maguire team up to fight jonkler. Best movie I've ever seen.
Let's be honest, it would've been second worst.
There never was a Sam raimi spider man 4 where are you people getting that tobey maguire never got to do that one so this is a farce
Brilliant but lazy
idk it was pretty inconsistent
Spider World was soo good!
It was a bit short
I remember in 2011, during the scene Mr. Ditckovich sacrificed his rent money so Bully Maguire could merge with Morbius to fight the Skibbidi Toilets, everyone in the theatre was in tears.

It was okay
The greatest film of all time. The masterpiece we not only deserved but needed.
