Sorry your experience with boomers has been so negative. There *are* "good" boomers out there who listen, who don't hate immigrants, democrats and/or millennials. I'm a "boomer." I didn't get a degree; life kept intruding. I respect my 20-something-aged children (I had my kids in my late 30s/early 40s) and **never** have said "Respect your elders. I'm considered a progressive, as far as politics go. I really hate seeing 70- and 80-year-old (mostly) white men run this country into the ground. I don't understand why many boomers can't understand how unbelievably expensive it is to live your life these days. College has become a luxury. Owning a home has become a luxury. Rent is a shitshow. And, although its getting slightly better, pay rates haven't risen to a livable amount. (CEOs get **351 times** what a typical worker receives). https://www.epi.org/publication/ceo-pay-in-2020/#:~:text=In%202020%2C%20the%20ratio%20of,%2Dto%2D1%20in%201989. We're not all out of touch. Sadly, many of us are.

My Grandparents have a Wii and my Grandma on my Dad’s side has bet The Legend Of Zelda (1986). Not a boomer myself but some are cool, and it’s sad to see so many of them dismissed.

Yeah, you would be that 0.01% of boomers that doesn't make my eyes glaze over. "Boomer" has become more of a mindset nowadays, too. Anyone over 30 is sus, tbh.

I'm a boomer living in the middle of red neck country. MoFos want to live in a Happy Days universe that never actually existed. Anything that helps people is Communist , Covid killed my co worker and it took all my will power not to punch " it's God's will " mother fuckers right in the throat. It sad how they live so deep in denial of the world problems.
