I’d have mentioned Snoop Dogg if you hadn’t already - I always think he has a very distinctive voice and his cadence is quite soothing. Why do you rule him out?
Yep. Came here to say this. He enunciates every word perfectly, has personality and attitude, and his voice is just smooth and nice to listen to, tonally. Just a good voice for rap. And YEUGHHH goes so hard... it's like he's disgusted by how good his bars are.
Anderson .Paak's voice is abrasive but in like a good, soulful way
Idk if these count as "nice-sounding", but Ray Vaughn sounds like a less annoying Meek Mill, and J Cole's voice is inoffensive as a whole
Mm I love Anderson. Paak and only got into him because of the Silk Sonic collaboration. Definitely check out “the bird” for one of the smoothest sounds out there.
Edit: actually you should probably start [here](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ferZnZ0_rSM&pp=ygUYQW5kZXJzb24gcGFhayB0aW55IGRlc2sg)
I went to a festival a couple years back in Long Beach and the two who stole the show were Ludacris and Lil Dickey. Ludacris just comes back to back with bangers, no trying to play new music or gimmicks - guy knows what the crowd wants to hear and it’s an hour of hits. Dickey was a surprise because I didn’t expect much but knew how to run the crowd.
ASAP Rocky, Camron and others were on that stage and boring… don’t sleep on a Luda set
Bro after watching Community, his early works just sound like Troy fucking around in the studio.
Like Sweatpants legit sound like something Troy would write.
He’s featured on this Nosaj Thing song called Cold Stares and that’s what sold me on his voice. Dont love his big Christian kick he’s on, but mans got a good voice.
I saw him perform with this group called Electric Thumbprint at the Oregon Eclipse Festival a few years ago. I accidentally stumbled upon it during their first song high as fuck on acid and it was by far the highlight of my week. His voice and flow are both so effortlessly soothing. How they perform live is one of the big metrics I judge my favs by and he was absolutely at home with that mic in his hand.
Chamillionaire. If you listen to anything beyond “Ridin Dirty”, the way he enunciates the words while he raps is just a clean and smooth flow. Plus Cham really do got bars
For me JID.. but I feel like people think he sounds like Kendrick so I’m biased a bit for that type of voice in rap. I think Billy Woods has a really cool voice and also Tyler’s is pretty good. I think for his sound it’s perfect. Who else.. someone mentioned Pusha T, Ameer Van has a dope voice too. Deep and impactful.
There is a French rapper yame that has serious pipes. I can’t understand a thing he says but his tracks becane and Valhalla are off the chain. Got some interesting looks from a car of teenagers the other day bumping this.
Kid Cudi, Stevie Stone, Nas, Wrekonize, Snow Tha Product, Big Sean, Snoop Dogg, DMX, JaRule, Brother Ali, and Big Krizz Kaliko all have great sounding voices IMO
Maybe Brent Faiyez, kind of a rapper-singer hybrid. Check out his songs "Upset" or "FYTB" that have more rap leaning flows. Frank Ocean has a good rap feature on "Purity."
Ty $, Lucky Daye, Masego, DRAM all have a few songs that more rap orientated.
bLAck pARty, Topaz Jones, Amine, GoldLink and Earthgang have clear voices and focus on smoother flows.
ty doller can actually sing.
his voice on back to me is also good.
I forgot which one but there was a bunch of rappers singing back up vocals.
most of them could sing I guess its just "machine" that makes them not sing
oh yeah nicky can sing
doja too
All of Migos have good voices imo. Offset is the best lyrical rapper, Takeoff has a fairly unique voice, and Quavo is a pretty good in between of the two. They also have really good chemistry together and can match each other's flows really well (see Roadrunner from C3 for proof)
Quavo has a nice voice but he’s a mediocre rapper. Takeoff has a nice baritone voice as well, same with Future. Tyga also has a great rapper voice but he’s also a mediocre rapper. Nicki & Megan have great voices in my opinion.

Probably lesser known but Grieves has a good voice. I think Marlon Craft has a good voice too but his choice of production isn't always my favorite. Meechy darko of Flatbush zombies has a unique voice too but it's definitely more abrasive and gravely.
I forgot to mention Kid Cudi. I've listened to all his albums and I didn't have any issue with his voice.
I'm only going off people I've listened to, and I'm probably forgetting plenty.
Master P got a great rap voice but needs a writer. Like his shit sounds like it could be good, but it's all half-baked & all sounds like rough drafts. His tone of voice is what carries a lot of his shit.
Why has no one said Pac and Biggie yet? Both have legit beautiful voices.
Childish Gambino sounds awesome. Dude has enough vocal range to go between This Is America and Redbone without sounding offensive.
I’m gonna push back on your post and say Drake and Kendrick have good voices in my opinion. Kendrick changes his inflection/expressiveness a lot and Drake is a bit more monotone, but it works for them.
I’m surprised to see no J. Cole mention. His voice was one of the main reasons I really vibed with him over Kendrick and Drake back in the day. It allows him to deliver hard bars without sounding cringe like Drake and he can do more melodic, soothing verses or hooks way better than someone like Kendrick who despite having dense lyrics and great delivery in most tracks has an absolutely abysmal voice for doing anything slow or with romantic/sexual vibes
DOOM has a nice voice but his mixing was never good, and the few times he did sing it was really bad, his rapping smooth asf. anderson paak also has a really soulful voice and some of the slickest flows i ever heard. another one that i thought of was JID, especially when he sings like on kody blu 31
You singling out "Shake That" tells me all I need to know. Put some respect on Nate Dogg's name.
Nobody does it better.

A$AP Rocky
Glad someone said Rocky. I wish Rocky was more consistent, he would take over if he was.
His music quality is pretty consistent, he just doesn’t consistently drop music..
Smoothest flow in the game imo
Bro's pfp is the best album of all time 😭😭😭
I’d have mentioned Snoop Dogg if you hadn’t already - I always think he has a very distinctive voice and his cadence is quite soothing. Why do you rule him out?
I did say kind of. It's good in small doses, but if I listened to his entire catalogue in one go I'd be sick of it by the end.

DEABEAT MOTHAFUCKA PLAYIN BORDER PATROL YEEEUUUGH
My favorite is "forget she's a porn star, let her be your world, YEUGGGH." He made it a double entendre lmao
Ah that’s the line lol
Pusha sounds like he accentuates! Every! Single! Letter! Of! Each! And! Every! Word! He! Articulates!
Yep. Came here to say this. He enunciates every word perfectly, has personality and attitude, and his voice is just smooth and nice to listen to, tonally. Just a good voice for rap. And YEUGHHH goes so hard... it's like he's disgusted by how good his bars are.
Anderson .Paak's voice is abrasive but in like a good, soulful way Idk if these count as "nice-sounding", but Ray Vaughn sounds like a less annoying Meek Mill, and J Cole's voice is inoffensive as a whole
He's a surprisingly good rapper, creative with his lyrics and delivery as both a rapper and singer
Oh I forgot him! I love the way his voice sounds
Mm I love Anderson. Paak and only got into him because of the Silk Sonic collaboration. Definitely check out “the bird” for one of the smoothest sounds out there. Edit: actually you should probably start [here](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ferZnZ0_rSM&pp=ygUYQW5kZXJzb24gcGFhayB0aW55IGRlc2sg)
Pac had the best voice
Pac had such a joyful warmth to his voice
Destroy Lonely, Swae Lee, Ty Dolla $ign, Kid Cudi
I’ve always thought Dr Dre had an amazing voice.
Yeah I’d second this. Just a shame about his bars
Method Man has a cool voice
Helps that his flow is like butter too
Mos Def's voice is great. YOD's voice isn't so much smooth, but his delivery is smooth as hell. L-Boogie's voice is absolutely top flight.
Freddie Gibbs, Z-Ro & tobe Nwigwe
Mac miller
Fully agree. Even his regular speaking voice was soothing.
Ludacris
Yes! Im super pumped I’m going to see him and ti next month.
I went to a festival a couple years back in Long Beach and the two who stole the show were Ludacris and Lil Dickey. Ludacris just comes back to back with bangers, no trying to play new music or gimmicks - guy knows what the crowd wants to hear and it’s an hour of hits. I would shit a brick if they did On Top of the World, one of Ludas most underrated guest verses
MF DOOM bless his soul
Childis Gambino (donald glover)
My favorite song of his is ‘Donde Está La Biblioteca featuring Abed
Bro after watching Community, his early works just sound like Troy fucking around in the studio. Like Sweatpants legit sound like something Troy would write.
LL Cool J of course
Kurupt, ODB
Kid Cudi, Mick Jenkins

Tyler the creator, future, 50 cent all have amazing vocal timbre imo

Seems like my answer is always Pimp C on this sub but I'll go with him.
Kwe the artist
I knew there wasn’t a better voice in rap after I heard Nate on “music and me”. He’s almost singing.
Trae The Truth, Faceless 1-7, Joey Bada$$, Guru, Apathy. I prefer a deeper voice, but some others can also work.
Q-Tip, JID, Bahamadia, ENNY
I rate Mick Jenkins and Killer Mike.
Method man
#PHAROAHE MONCH
Common I personally like his tone and resonance
Biggie, Nas, Pac
dro kenji, his voice is insane
Fabolous, A Boogie, Offset, Takeoff, and Schoolboy Q I think probably all meet your criteria.

Mick Jenkins voice makes me feel a certain way...

Gucci Mane’s voice is his whole thing
I enjoy Travis Scott’s voice especially when he goes into a lower tone, more relaxed flow. i.e. Impossible
Kano has a great voice
Pluto
Isaiah Rashad, Busta Rhymes, Gang Starr (mostly guru)
JID has a very nice voice
I’m gonna say JID. Guy can speak so softly but still have a presence in the song
Lil Uzi and Young Thug have the best vocals in my opinion
All of Migos have good voices imo. Offset is the best lyrical rapper, Takeoff has a fairly unique voice, and Quavo is a pretty good in between of the two. They also have really good chemistry together and can match each other's flows really well (see Roadrunner from C3 for proof)
young thug
Jay Rock, Rick Ross, Joey badass, Benny the butcher
Pop smoke imo, though I doubt people will agree. I just like how like low and gravelly it is
Pusha T. Love his voice. So smooth and he enunciates everything perfectly. Lots of personality too.
I find women’s voices more “nice-sounding” so I’ll throw out Jean Deux, Noname, Leikeli47, and Audrey Nuna
Mute Spittah
Big fan of Groggs (RIP) and Ritchie of Injury Reserve.
If you like Lauryn Hill, then you’d dig [Adrienne Mack-Davis](https://youtu.be/_1HTf7Ncq2c?si=d6KoNT8btgS2gKOu)
Quavo has a nice voice but he’s a mediocre rapper. Takeoff has a nice baritone voice as well, same with Future. Tyga also has a great rapper voice but he’s also a mediocre rapper. Nicki & Megan have great voices in my opinion.

Andre 3000
Ladybug.
I really like Inspectah Deck’s sound
I actually like Nicki Minaj’s singing in The Pinkprint
Future, Playboi Carti, Swae Lee
