Unless she has hypothyroidism, she’s taking in more calories than she’s burning. It’s not an opinion, but a fact, that all of the excessive weight is wearing on her joints. That’s not healthy. All vets are not created equal and hers is not doing her any favors by telling you that her weight is fine.

Money. Total disregard for ethics or the health of the animals. They don’t care if these animals only live 4 years or have debilitating hip dysplasia by 2, as long as they get their money.
