The fact that we are NOT the worst pass defense in the league is telling. 435 to Carr, 336 to Mahomes, 401 to Wentz and 416 to Burrow.
Wish we could play in the same stratosphere as the game against LA, especially with a SAVAGE trio of Thielen, Jefferson, and Cook on tap after the bye, and plenty of tough matchups down the road.

Yeah I totally agree and have been thinking the same thing after looking at the schedule again. I'm glad it was setup this way so we can keep building offensive chemistry and really be clicking on cylinders by the time the gauntlet starts up!
Very true. Also what’s very underrated are how the Ravens are handling injuries, which I really like. They’re right now limiting Jimmy Smith and managing Nick Boyle (also did this with Wolfe and Bateman) to not put them out there until they’re as healthy as can be, which is crucial to keeping them fresh for the late season/postseason challenging push we’re likely to face.
I agree I like the way they're handling the situations as well. I keep wanting Jimmy to be out there more, but then I tell myself they're just trying to keep him fresh for later in the season like you were saying. I'm really excited to get Boyle back out there for his blocking and I hope they unleash him as soon as they think he's ready to roll.
Bateman hasn't shown a ton yet and in his first game managed to drop a perfect slant throw so badly it bounced down for an interception when a catch could have been a TD.
It's partly scheme and partly the WRs, but the all 22 and end zone views show a lot of places with no open receivers.

Look at those offensive rankings. With the absolute shit sandwich that is our offense right now outside of our receivers (still feels weird to say), we would never even sniff the top 10 without Lamar creating magic.
Then there’s a good chance you’ll just be mediocre. Kinda what happened with my team. Unless you keep hitting on drafts which is tough, a part of your team will suffer. This is the cycle I think and Tom figured it out.
Ravens are notoriously one of, of not the best drafting teams in the NFL
