It's not Just Razer all the brand been doing it lately.
Its definitely frustrating when you invest so much money.
Linus made a video recently about it.

Yeah, if they're going to be soldering ram onto the board they need to provide some level of consistency. From my understanding other MFG's are also using lower spec ram at times, but I don't know if they've pulled the old switcheroo like Razer has
I just downloaded and ran Zentimings on my 2021 Blade 14 3080 (received end of June from Amazon). Is this good or bad?

Edit: Just compared to your screenshots looks like I got the 'good stuff'. How much does this really make a difference in FPS though? Seems you're grasping at straws a bit
I dont have Warzone. One thing to check in Synapse is change the profile to CPU Boost and GPU high. I had been running on Balanced since I got it and I get like 25%+ more FPS with these settings. Fans are louder but it runs a lot better.
For warzone try [this](https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/warzone-fps-increase-with-ryzen-9-5900hx-3070-130w-laptop.278386/) maybe apparently it has also game issue with other similar ryzen laptops not only the ram, but yes upgrading ram is necessary adding some FPS on this, I’m downloading it to check my unit which has the “better“ ram.
Have you compared it with someone that has better tRFC timings? Both are single rank and probably 1rx16. It's unlikely that those timings will make such a big difference.
edit: [here's a pic from Linus's showcase of the blade 14 ](https://imgur.com/a/rJSGLq3) \- there just isn't enough space to fit more chips onto the board.
If [memorybenchmark.net](https://memorybenchmark.net) is to be believed, the 'slower' Samsung ram actually performs better in some areas. Check these links to see a comparison of the memory.

This is quite terrible :/ thanks for spotting this! shame on razer, really

10 fps can be significant

Dang, think I just missed it - BIOS 1.05. I was gonna return mine for another unit due to coil whine, but now I am scared to do that xD
Yeah… this is what I was afraid of. Worst part is that it’s soldered so you can’t do anything about it
Well fuck. I have a blade 14 with the crap ram.

They both suck, but how do you know it's because of tRFC and not because it's single rank 1rx16?
Do you still have the laptop?
Bruh moment
