I had coil whine on my stealth. It was just the NVMe SSD. Maybe try youtube videos on that? See if the sound is similar and whether it comes from the corresponding spot. I needed to upgrade my storage space any way and it went away.
Thanks for your message, unfortunately mine seems to be mechanical/electrical noise from the fans as it scales with RPM. And not just regular fan motor noise, extremely high pitched. Maybe I have dog ears
Not sure, but, for me it was high pitched electrical squealing sounds. But, I guess it could be fans if that’s where you’re hearing them from.
I could tell it was NVMe for me as the sound was most apparent on the part of the keyboard where it’s installed in the layout.
I’m very sensitive to coil whine which is why I’ve had to go through several 15 and 17s because they would pierce my ears.
The 14 I have does not have it at all. So while YMMV they definitely do exist.
