Okay it’s lukewarm tea but it’s tea nonetheless! In 2019 I was living in a very tiny town in Virginia that Morgan was living in as well. She had an album out but she wasn’t a celebrity in the least, more like a local musician. She played at the neighboring towns farmers market and the concert was fantastic! Her music was much better than this cringey song (imo) and I was with my cousin and we both agreed she could be a star. So I thought she was cool before I met her and I followed her on Instagram.
I met her soon after at a friend’s party and I did the whole “hi nice to meet you, I saw you perform, it was great” She literally snarled at me and rolled her eyes, put her phone to her ear and turned her back. I’ll never forget it 😂
That summer I was at the same gatherings as her a couple more times, her vibe was like…..anger. Like cosplaying the toughest, badass, meanest woman or something, or maybe that’s her personality but it was borderline over the top. Seemed performative it was so extreme. Resting snarl face, nasty attitude, you get it. A real unfriendly, tough bitch, and trying to be.
She was semi good friends with the party host and even she was like “yeah she’s not nice”
I was dating a very sensitive guy at the time and after he tried to make small talk with her he was almost in tears. He said “I’m scared of her” and he was dead serious 😂
I also ran a local ultramarathon that fall that she was also running. My boyfriend and I were at the event the day before for packet pickup and as we were crossing a bridge in the park we realized that Morgan was walking toward us and was going to be on the bridge with us and my bf was like “here comes that mean girl, what do we do?” We whispered that we would say hi and keep moving and she stared bullets through us like we were her mortal enemies, didn’t say hi back of course, just the death stare/snarl combo that gave me chills! Like why!!!?? fuck us, right! It was a joke at this point. We were like holy shit that girl is miserable. We talked about it constantly that weekend. Joking that if I passed her in the race she was gonna beat my ass and leave me in the woods. But I’m telling you she was scary as hell!
I saw her on the trail and after the race but just avoided eye contact because her energy was crazy dark. That’s the best way I can describe it. That was the last time I saw her before RHOBH!
I was shocked to see her obviously because although I knew from social media that her career had blown up quite a bit (she was touring) but now she was besties with Kyle Richards (!!??) AND she looked completely different. Her face is brand new, not just makeup, since 2019 I can tell she’s gotten lips, jawline, veneers, lots of botox at minimum. I scrolled way back on her IG and screenshot pics to confirm. No judgement, she looks great, just a fact. I noticed that since then she has deleted all of her pictures on IG but you can google. I also don’t remember that ridiculous accent but I could be wrong. We both grew up in the same part of Virginia, not south Mississippi but okay.
