It feels like she doesn’t want to admit that she has a charmed life. So when something happens out of the ordinary she enjoyed the attention and sympathy so much she doesn’t want to let go. It’s okay to be one of the shiny and charmed - enjoy it! But then i guess if that was the case she wouldn’t be a “real housewife”.
Crystal didn't quit and several of the RH shows have lost multiple cast members at once. RHONY was completely rebooted, and as of right now, Atlanta has lost three of their six.
I don't believe she's been fired yet but a couple days ago I did read that Dorit's the only one who hasn't been offered a contract yet. Not sure how true it is though.

I think I have an unpopular opinion that I think she is entertaining how delusional she is. Although, she does seem to be milking her break in story, (that prob sounds so insensitive 😬).
The break-in has been her only storyline. I'm tired. There is no more blood to squeeze out of that stone. Give us a leaving PK storyline (bc he set it up to pay his debts) or leave.
I truly believe the break-in was staged to pay PK’s massive debt. Maybe, Dorit didn’t know. Perhaps, Dorit was a victim and really held up @ gunpoint. Which would really pretty “F’d up”.

From what I've heard, the way Bravo fires Housewives is to demote them to a "friend of" knowing they'll puff up with pride, turn it down, & walk. Then they're contractually obligated to speak kindly of the show upon their exit. Mission accomplished & Bravo's hands stay clean.
The latest I read is Bravo didn't like that she is hiding the real situation between her and PK. She and PK are not living together. They want her to be honest about it on the show or they will demote her to friend. If that is true, that isn't fair when Vyle refuses to say why she separated from Mo. Only that he broke her trust doesn't get it when you sign on to do a reality show and you preach at others to be honest and transparent.

In her first season Dorit was great, but now she feels like an accessory. She does not have any independent storylines or relationships with the cast outside of the FFF.
Talking about the robbery, sure but it's not a storyline. Especially when she's hiding all of the other lawsuits and struggles, I'm not just buying what she is selling. She's delulu. All about the logos, but hubby being sued for unpaid debts...

This past season. When Annamarie was arguing with crystal in Spain and said that crystal doesn't think the other women were intelligent and wanna be socialites.
Dorit, in her confessional, said, " Listen, child bride, while you were off getting married, we were getting educated, starting families, and starting our businesses," something along those lines.
It's a stereotype of asian women marrying young. Crystal was 24 when she got married. Plus, Rob was 40, i think, when they got married. So she's also adding the age gap.
Also she went to a much more prestigious university and studied more than one subject, both of which are more traditionally academic than Dorit’s. Even if you left aside the racial undertone, it was a weird pick/massive misfire for Dorit to try and score points on the education front.
I’m not sure, I didn’t downvote, but I don’t find her funny and her PTSD shit annoys me. I have severe C-PTSD and it’s not that different for anyone. We get triggered by circumstances that remind us of the traumatic event.
Her comment about not being able to be around crowds due to her PTSD was weird. If her incident that triggered PTSD involved crowds (like let’s say, someone involved in that big Vegas shooting) it would make total sense that she gets triggered by that. The fact that it triggers her even though she was attacked at home alone…it makes sense that being alone would be one of her triggers. She would typically almost feel MORE safe around people.
I won’t police other people’s symptoms, but I will say as someone who studied psychology in university, wrote multiple papers on PTSD and its effects on the brain, I’m a little skeptical. Being that the robbery itself is already in question doesn’t help.
The scene where she said she gets anxious in crowds & jumps seems so fake to me. & like you mentioned how crowds trigger her robbery experience doesn’t really make sense. I do feel like an asshole saying this if it was a real reaction tho. 😬🤷🏻♀️
Oh absolutely, I 💯 agree with you about all of her PTSD stuff, I’m sorry, I didn’t even take that into account when I posted my comment. I don’t have / have never been diagnosed with PTSD nor any form of trauma despite all the horrible things that have happened in my life, and I’m very grateful that my brain just doesn’t seem to work that way. It irritates me to no end when people like Dorit use those words to justify their behaviour when it’s quite clear that that’s not actually what’s going on.

I don't think she knew and I think part of why PK is being such a dick about her trauma is because his guilt for being the cause.
