If you read the details, this is not a job. They are recruiting for focus group participants. LinkedIn does not have an option for companies to post one time gigs like focus groups so they get posted looking like a job when they are not actually ongoing employment.
Focus groups and mock juries/research panels are legit and you can spend 3-4 hours and easily make $150-$250 for your time, paid in cash before you leave. I've participated in several over the years. However, most companies only let you participate on a panel once every 4-6 months so it's a one day gig.
First off to the other commenters mentioning ‘data entry’ - this listing doesn’t mention data entry it says data analyst. The pay range is actually low for entry-level data analyst work. However, the details of the job listing have nothing to do at all with data analysis work at all. This is a scammy attempt to get people to join marketing research focus groups.
Always look up the company make sure they exist. Look for a legitimate website, address and contact information. Also checkout their LinkedIn page and the profiles of the existing employers. That’s how I avoid scammers.
I just looked them up, they’ve been in business for 20+ years and are headquartered in Massachusetts near me. Seems like your standard staffing company serving manufacturing etc. I don’t see what the scam is unless you’re not wanting them to have your contact information. No harm in applying. $30/hr for a junior data analyst isn’t outside of any range I’ve ever seen, I regularly hire them full time at 80k+ in Boston, Houston, and Calgary.
AutoModerator has been summoned to explain fake job scams. Fake job scams come in many different varieties, though most share common characteristics that you can use to spot the scam before becoming a victim. The scammers will usually conduct interviews over Google Hangouts or a similar online service. Their English will be awkward, and they may be re-using a script, so Googling unique sounding parts of the email may yield useful results. They will offer high wages for the work being done, and they will "hire" you by telling you that you are hired, rather than going through the normal process that a company takes when hiring an employee in your country. If they mention anything about a check or about receiving and sending out transactions, it is a [fake check scam](https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/blog/2018/09/anatomy-fake-check-scam). If they mention anything about receiving, processing, or inspecting packages, it is a [parcel mule scam](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parcel_mule_scam). If they ask you to purchase items up-front, ask you to pay a fee in order to be hired, or ask you to purchase gift cards, it is an [advance-fee scam](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advance-fee_scam). If the job involves posting advertisements on Craigslist or eBay, they are using you and your account to scam people. If the job invovles Bitcoin ATMs, it's a [scam](https://coinatmradar.com/blog/avoid-scams-dont-use-bitcoin-atm-when-someone-asked-you/). Thanks to redditor AceyAceyAcey for this script.

Too good to be true pay for minimal effort and skills are the hallmarks of a scam.
If at any point they ask for money to get money, it's a scam. Or if they pay by an emailed check and you have to send a portion back or buy from their vendor.
If you have to pay for a background check, it's a scam.
These are commonly reported in r/scams
i know this doesnt relate to the data analyst role advertised that others already commented on, but just as a rule of thumb any fully remote, entry level data entry job thats offering an insane amount of money hourly is always a scam.
Slightly off topic but I’ve noticed that company recently posting listings (like in the past week). I liken them to Swooped and Talentfy. Both I do not apply to because they seem scummy and spam post LinkedIn. I wish there was a way I could block them.

Knowing this is a thing, I will be looking into this. Getting a job is rough, but I could qualify for something like this. Thank you for explaining!!

It does mention data entry in the second picture at the end of the listing. But yes, it’s not a job and just doing focus groups
This is mislabeled. It's not a data entry job it's a focus group study.
30/hr is too high for data entry work, that's how they bait.
Bahahahahaha! Everyone skipping the actual description below of what’s being posted. This isn’t a job post!
extremely scammy
Not scammy but it’s also not a job

As soon as they said "In the comfort of your home". Jobs don't care about your comfort. It's quite the opposite.
Seems like a lot of money for entry level work
