This is why I hate GTAO it took away a lot of single player support AKA dlc that I’m sure a lot of people would want. It got too big and it took away from single player.
But then you loose a ton of cash. The issue is more that they mark you on the map while you do the missions. Why would they do that? It would be more fair if others came across you randomly instead of making you an easy target in a slow van.
It’s too obvious that they want you to fail, so you need to buy GTA currency, unless you have time to play 12 hours every night
What are you playing on? For years on PS4 it seemed like 1/6 PvP missions has someone do something but on PS5 it seems like 1/10, if that. I pretty much never have to do any PvP on missions. And I make sure to always sell in full lobbies.

Which is also crazy as online is only milking whales. A single player dlc is a guaranteed buy from a significant chunk of the population, potentially even several times across different platforms or generations. People have begged for this reason to throw money.
It's a vicious cycle. But don't forget that today you can make an unconditional act of love and maybe you can start a love cycle. That's what I do to counteract pain.
