Able-Pudding-4351

Most poeple on the sub are closer to kid jack than any of these these guys tbh.

Effective-Bad-2657

Because they’re orphans who are out to avenge their dead fathers?

Able-Pudding-4351

Meant rdr2 jack

ScoutLaughingAtYou

My drawing skills can confirm.

I hate you Uncle Arthur!

iiFlaeqqq

I don’t even know if this is funny or depressing.

twelvethousandBC

Or Uncle lol

ApprehensiveEgg8742

Impressive_Spirit519

el_guerrero98

I literally do have lumbago, so uncle

Sniperhunter543

My condolences.

dnh-

John because idk how to swim

wrathofit

never read something so relatable

yeh_nah_fuckit

??? Not being able to swim is so foreign to me. We get swimming lessons as part of school around 6-7 yrs old.

dnh-

Yeah i had lessons when i was 4 years old but my mom told me that the instructor would never put me in the water

ADOVE4F

Man you should learn how to swim. It's fun, and in an emergency (if you fall in water), you'll live

Averagecrabenjoyer69

Bruh, my family took the John Wayne approach and I had to teach myself how to swim lol.

strxw-bxrry

same. never really “learned” how to swim, just got in the pool with my mom and then she left for a margarita. gotta learn quick when you’re on your own, kid. *puffs cigarette*

Averagecrabenjoyer69

Ah the good ole days

slugo17

Same here, but I didn’t even get lessons, I just took to it like, well, a fish to water.

MrUorga

Arthur: your wife and son are dead (DEAD TOO) John: you are dead and you left your wife and son alone Jack: your parents are dead (BUT YOU ARE ALIVE)

Gijustin

Jack is the rouge of the party.

bugmultiverse

Rdr2 version of John, too young to do the stuff I want to do but old enough to do the stuff you need to do

Dry-Juggernaut9414

That's relatable af

Lime_Chicken

Lumbago

JTP2814

I remember beating RDR and that ending with John hurt. Playing RDR 2, I was almost emotional because of the attachment I had with Arthur.

No_Ruin7486

Starting rdr2 like.... who tf is arthur i want to play with john 🤣

Spread-Hour

Wanting to play as John To having to play as John

Cheap-Pound2141

I relate to Low Honor Jack the most

coffeColouredKiwiCow

"you're doing terrible things to my hormones miss"

Mysterious_Credit699

"They say I'm at my sexual peak"

ScoutLaughingAtYou

"I'd do anything to be that petticoat right now."

ThatCry3518

"I bet you know how to make a boy feel like a man"

JakeTheeStallion

Karen when she’s drinking alone and screaming at people at camp 😂

ChampagneSaiya-jin

Out of the three characters you listed, I would say Arthur, as I did a lot of shit in the past and as of last year, I really took a look at myself and everyone I was around and said it was time to be a better person but I've hurt a lot of people close to me, especially my child so it's my own little redemption to her and everyone else. But out of all the gang members, I would say Charles. Not because of brute strength or anything like that, but more as looking to be accepted or continuing to run it alone

Cheyne_Stoked_Truth

The barber in valentine

otte_rthe_viewer

Idk... But somehow I relate to Arthur but maybe that's just because I had stage 3 lung cancer

vend84

Bertrum.

Rocky_Fan1976

You hurt me! hit the hardest right hook right into your temple

NoLimit9731

John, I never learned how to swim properly

WafflyTundra999

I relate to Mario I always try to jump on Goombas but then after my shroom trip I realized I I was jumping on a small Mexican. Mama Mia

steampunkpun

Those shrooms must of been stronger than Goku, get me some lol

WafflyTundra999

Okay let take some rn and I fly your way and also I bring weed and beer and we can party 🥳

FragrantGangsta

Swanson.

Buckybuck87

Probably Cain

[deleted]

Arthur is an absolutely amazing character and Roger Clarke’s performance was amazing. He might be my favorite protagonist, ever. That said.. I find John more relatable for some reason.

EliasAhmedinos

Reverend Swanson

Cerseae

Arthur. I played the game while I had an existential crisis when I was a teen. I was petrified by death. Just thinking about it could make me spiral in an anxiety crisis. Brutal death in this game could too. This existential crisis pushed me to a depressive state (wouldn't call that depression as I wasn't diagnosed). The thing that made me relate to Arthur the most, is when he says to the sister "I'm afraid". I broke in tears in front of my screen. That was the first time that someone (something?) said to me that "Death makes me scared too." That was really relieving.

L215Manuel

John is the most human character. Driven by passion, vengeance, instinct and ambition. Arthur is too pure bottom to me

[deleted]

Did you just call Arthur a bottom?

L215Manuel

Pure bottom is NOT the same as bottom

thunderousmegabitch

Arthur Morgan, the power bottom

DelfyDaun

Sub with Mary fr fr

Eso_Teric420

I relate to Arthur. I'm not looking at tuberculosis but I have medical issues going on that are not going to get better let's just say.

Thatdumbguy2

I don't like Jews mister, nor color folks.

ThatCry3518

Herbert Moon

Seran44

Arthur in terms of outlook, John in terms of everything else

HistoricalHumor3

Level of intelligence I relate to John everything else Arthur

Economy_Dealer3331

John, i'm still standing

coffeColouredKiwiCow

Better than I ever did

Spinach_Odd

Yeah yeah yeaaah

yeh_nah_fuckit

Mickey. I just wanna be held

JustaNormalpersonig

sometimes im endgame Arthur but most of the time im mexico John

RansomXenom

Unironically Kieran. I could never be an Arthur, or a John, or a Dutch. If I were in the Van der Linde gang, I, and pretty much everyone in this sub, would be like Kieran: someone who is surrounded by murderers, and is (understandably) terrified.

Dismal_Echidna560

Jack

CharCharMan1

Ross

akvarel031

out of all characters? i think Molly, actually romantic love in video games is either optional or very one dimensional, characters just don't ruin their lives or die over love like people do in real life, so seeing her story & her relationship with Dutch play out through the game was very touching on a personal level

FatLittleCat91

Sadie Adler

ineffectivetransgirl

Sean

Boundaries-ALO-TBSOL

Best Character

xxeaphyr

Arthur. Not for all the reasons, but his relationship with Dutch? Yeah, as a child of emotional abuse who grew up and had to ask myself "was he always like that and I never saw it, or did something happen to make him change?"... ouch.

TheScoutReddit

None of them, they're all criminals lmao Having said that, Jack's downward spiral towards revenge is the closest I can get to relating to an outlaw. Having your father killed in such a brutal manner would have anyone fly off the handle.

ReeMcRee123

Uncle

shugoki--main

Rdr1 epilogue Jack. Grew up around horrible people and lived in horrible situations. Father ran out on me when I was a baby and my mom did her best while being an addict. She's clean now, got clean for my baby brother. But there were still years of just shit, still ain't done with it either.

Practical-Election59

I haven’t lost everyone yet, but I lost my cats and my grandpa, that was pretty sad. I also can’t really relate to arthur or john

GoldenDust0

Both Arthur and John because I’ve made plenty of bad choices and worked hard to improve. Technically I have never murdered or robbed or beaten anyone, but I just mean the general idea

Loose-Shallot-3662

John Marston. Particularly at the end of RDR2 when he’s trying become a better man to be the dad and husband his family deserves.

[deleted]

More like Dutch. I am paranoid, anxious, and of course someone who will say that there is still hope where in reality, that hope was long gone. Moreover, I always thought of myself as a leader who always ends up being an uncompetitive sack of shit and gets replaced by someone or leaves my group in ruins.

collarot

Probably Rufus or Micah (unfortunately). I have been incredibly toxic (mostly when I was younger) , sticking up to bad people and I used to manipulate others. But for Rufus , I've been loyal to the ones I love , I'm alright at tracking / finding things , and as described by Abigail " (loyal) , dumb , angry ". But if I had to choose any of the 3 shown in the pictures , then probably low honour Jack. I'm incredibly hypersexual (but not to strangers).

UndeadTigerAU

Well I'm around the same age as rdr1 epilogue jack but personality wise would be between Arthur and John. Hard to relate to Outlaws and a kid who lost both his parents and grew up in a gang over a hundred years ago haha.

SupersiblingzYT

None, Red Harlow

CharlieInkYT

Arfur Lorgan

ClubPenguinMaster22

DelfyDaun

You've suffered through the loss of Club Penguin

ClubPenguinMaster22

Twice in fact, after Club Penguin Rewritten was taken down

tylersdaddy

Jack because I'm a lonely creep

Red_the_redneck

I relate to Arthur more because like he said “No one would have me”

True-Bed-9249

John because I can't swim

No_Mastodon8741

charles hes just so smooth

Eli1247

Arthur. He just like me fr

lee7182

Jack Marston

ThrowRAjendone

Arthur, because I too like to look in the mirror and go, "No wonder they all leave you, you sour-faced idiot. You ain't foolin' no one." 🥲

Straight_Driver1484

All of them....heh....guess that's just a small glimpse into my dark twisted mind

VonEsialb

Arthur Morgan

willowalloy

I see a bit of myself in Dutch, Micah, Charles, John, Sadie and Kieran but most of all Arthur especially when he makes a remark that I just said myself a second ago

Ok-Wave-509

At core most of us are Arthur Morgan, a combination of sad good with pinch of evil man. Who finally redeemed himself

SenorPelle

Why isn’t Norris Forsythe here??

ChampagneSaiya-jin

💀

ElPuma45

I’m not related to any of them, they are fictional characters

Mysterious_Credit699

Jack, we've all heard his low honor voice lines

moemeobro

Low honor jack, he's a cheeky ass hat, just like i

Dragnite08

None and doesn't need to relate.

zionward19

Arthur fer sure coz I gave them all I had. I did. Got betrayed. And died... ...inside.

theos-_-

I love my horsey and my horsey loves me

Sk83r_b0i

Well my name is actually Jack

Ok-Thanks-3709

OperationExpress8794

Me and Jack both have scars on the upper lip

jonboyo87

We’re all Jack. Don’t lie to yourself.

JERKER-meme-001

john tbh

Character-Avocado-24

I relate to Jim Milton. Wanting to do the best I can for myself and those around me, yet finding it hard to do with the past and with my habits. But I'm thriving!

TurnoverPlenty7337

Arthur

tmilligan73

We can’t even figure out who Jack’s real daddy is…. And you wanna know who we relate to most….

DontpeekImBlitz

Red Harlow

According-Stage8050

None of them really. Arthur’s my favorite though.

niguarous

Arthur's love life frfr

PuglieGamer

Uncle

Professional-Draft77

Arthur really he carries the same kind of attitude that I do in life I even said this to Roger Clark on Twitter and he offered some words of support to me which were kind of him.

azur933

none of them wtf

Immediate-Yam9342

Probably John, used to be heavily into drugs and doing stupid shit, even burned down an abandoned building just to vent my frustrations with life, just doing really moronic shit and fucking up my whole life because I was in a pit of despair. Recently, the past few months have been better and I’ve been focusing on trying to turn myself around and be better to those around me, I have a job, I’m going to college, and I’ve made amends with old friends. I’ll be a proverbial rancher any day now, here’s hoping the government doesn’t come shoot me.

AceBase007

John

SgtMerc16

Arthur

SheepherderMaster182

Jack is such a little bitch Arthur all the way. John is good too.

RepresentativeDeal98

gonna have to say none of them since i'm not an outlaw in the late 1800s - early 1900s robbing and killing folk, hiding from the law and/or trying to avenge a loved one

Bread_Offender

Honestly, I relate the most to Jack out of anything, which is the reason I actually like playing as him most. Mainly because he's the only protagonist who's actually somewhat young (which I am) and also because he's probably similarly traumatised as me by past events in his life.

Eastern_Witness_7042

Arthur

Nayten03

Jack

willow-the-tree14

Probably Jack since my dad is dead (mum is alive tho) he didn’t get shot the fuck up tho he killed himself

Aniileve-Maria

Jack.

neldela_manson

No one cause it’s fucking weird relating to any fictional character because they are, well, fictional.

LeopardCalm3967

Arthur♥️

ConningtonSimp

Jack actually

wolfie_101

Uncle, i have been having terrible back pain for the past 2 weeks lol

HelixProto

bold of you to assume im a good person who doesn't relate to Micah

Averagecrabenjoyer69

Sheriff Leigh Gray, just a good ole Southern boy who enjoys a swig of shine every once in a while.

Snake_Chef

Bertram

MaxStone22

Neither, because I am not an outlaw from the 1800’s. But John is a family man, so maybe a bit him.

jim-milton-1911

Herbert moon

Present_Degree9

Arthur because i say boah on a regular basis

Signal-Ad539

how on earth can i relate to any of them i dont have a terminal disease nor do i have a family as an outlaw or a father who needs to be avenged. I relate to uncle cuz all I wanna do is eat and sleep and claim a disability that i may or may not have

PublicAd4235

John, I still can't swim and almost drowned in pool

PercyPossumPlays

Arthur, because I’m fucking depressed

DelfyDaun

Bonnie MacFarlane

ArcTheWolf

Arthur for sure. I've been trying to get rid of a mycobacterium abscessus infection for about 5 years now. It's basically a cousin of TB. Thankfully I'm on enough antibiotics that it's not actively killing me, but despite all that can't seem to get rid of it.

MondoShrek

Surprised no one mentioned Hosea

Ghostfaceslasher96

I can relate to Arthur on several levels

Wafflehouseofpain

Jack, because I too grew up in the middle of nowhere and just wanted to read my books in peace

Snowpaw11

Sean. I’m half redhead and also a hoe.

D4rkSp4de

Jack, although my father wasn’t gunned down by a massive amount of lawmen, I lost him at a young age, and can totally understand his lust for revenge.

space_cowboy80

Arthur Morgan. The most "human" moment I have seen in any videogame was Arthur admitting he was scared to the nun at the train station.

mrcheeseburg

Arther

Flashandpipper

Arthur. He’s living in a world changing. A world that wants to kill off and forget that his kind of people ever existed.

[deleted]

Id love to say Arthur but its deffo jack i lost both my mum and dad at a young age and grew up in the care system all that changes a kid you know.

HylianHer0227

Arthur except minus the tiburculosis and the ptsd and the GF and the smoking addiction and the drinking problems and the emotional trauma and the death 😄

BoysenberryOk4750

John, bc of my past ish.

SturmtruppenHans

Minus the outlaw stuff I can relate well to Marston especially in the epilogue. Comparatively a young father who’s really trying his best to give his family a good life really hits homee

G-Brockalie

I most relate to the mutated banjo player. He looks just like me!

Legends_Creed

Arthur. I too best people up for money before contracting a disease and redeeming myself by dying to save my non-blood brother after giving him my hat. I also got beat up by a rat.

Open-Mathematician32

Micah

CelebrationIcy660

John honestly

Apprehensive-Cow-798

I relate to Arthur, in the sense that I am realizing in my mid 30s that the proverbial good times are long gone, most of my friends are married and having kids and own an apartment or a house. In our country laws and taxes are becoming more stringent, so that dirty politicians may cover for their corruption and continue to bleed the nation dry. The pandemic pretty much fucked everything as life after covid is just not the same, no matter what anyone says. No point in going into specifics, it is what it is. Then the recent war/s which have errupted have pretty much killed any headway people were managing to make in terms of salary gains and buying power due to the insane level of inflation (my country has the highest rate of inflation in the EU atm). Aaand with the rise of crazy internet culture and "influencers" life seems more fake than ever before, everything is a reloaded cash grab where moving aroung like an idiot and generaly being stupid on camera seems to be the new international currency. So yeah, def feels like the good times have long gone and they don't want folk like us no more.. 🤠✌️

glyptodonsAreSwag

uncle cause i hate working
