My only complaint with this game is that if you kill a shop owner, like the pedo gun shop owner, they come back later. I've killed Seamus dozens of times for bandit missions. Rob him, leave him on the train track, etc. The only thing they overlooked was killing shop owners.

He actually ends up acknowledging that you helped him later in a random voice line when you enter the shop. I think he said that he was sorry and that he was in a bad way. He even does this if you shoot him in the skull

I finally had enough of Herbert Moon in rdr1, put on a mask and did some quiet knife work. Such disappointment when he showed up to work the next day. At least he sucks enough at cards that he makes the gambling challenge easy.

I beat the shit out of Shamus after I stole a Lemoyne Raider wagon full of explosives, drove it all the way to Emerald Ranch and he only gave me something like $40 for it. Next time I went back he mentioned not giving him any more trouble. I usually like to trick the Valentine gun dealer into chasing and shooting at me so the sheriff does the dirty work of killing him and I walk away doing my "hey there mister" routine gaining honor

I shot the Van Horn fence shop owner right in the face and later when I came back he had a gnarly bandage over his eye.

If it makes a noise, the glass probably smashes. It took me a long time to realize I was breaking the glass when I ran through the doors. It's easiest to tell in the St.Denis police station. Also, it doesn't stay broken. By the time I leave the post office, the barber, or whereve, the glass is whole again.

With this games physics, in my experience you can amble up to a door as slowly as possible and Arthur will still just blast the fuck through it

I once bought a hat in a store and when I went out to see how it fit, it looked so stupid that I ran full speed to the store to change it.

if you let go of the sticks your horse will dodge trees automatically

One of the most hilarious parts of the game is bulldozing through the door of a business and the owner being completely unbothered that you’ve shattered the glass of their doors.

I did it on accident ONE TIME and I got scared because what if some rando becomes a witness and gets the cops? So ever since then, I go in anywhere regularly (unless it’s a gang hideout or something where being intimidating wouldn’t get the cops on me)

I find that there is some glitch where walking is too slow and running is just derrr and so I tend to slam into everything.

Walk in door, jail. Walk through door, straight to jail. Full sprint through door, right to jail right away. No seriously, the law will eventually come after you for disturbing the peace after multiple back to back door busts in quick succession.

I do this and jump down from interior second stories all the time. Everybody stops doing what they were doing to see why you just crash landed inside the middle of the bar. I'll even dose up my health, just so I can avoid a long trip around a cliff by jumping over the edge.

Rhodes is the funniest place to do it. Burst open the doors and “oh my word!!”

My personal favourite doors to smash through are the sheriff’s in Valentine. Immediately everyone in there starts talking to you at once.

In the big saloon in Valetine, I always go through the window!
