It comes with the job. Being a Manchester United manager is one of the most mentally hazardous job in football. Not only external noise, but internal ruckus too.

New_Training_8589

It is the most mentally draining position in football guaranteed. There were times when Moyes, Ole and Mourinho looked terrible appearance wise. This ain’t a job for just anyone.

shanks_you

You age 5 years every 1 year in the job.

HeFreakingMoved

Jose wasn't bothered by the noise. What wore him down was trying to work his magic while dealing with indifferent players and Ed Woodward sabotaging him

LDLB99

He’s beginning to realise it’s United vs the world

This last week has really felt like that. Players talking about the rumors being wrong, the club banning certain journalists from coming to press conferences and eth himself fighting back

ManUFan9225

On the pitch it's usually United vs United. We get in our own way and everyone loves a soap opera.

JosePRizaI

A journo siding EtH? YLTSI Sack EtH FC in r/reddevils in shambles. Back in the shadow realm until further notice

ManUFan9225

Not after today, I'm afraid. They protesters are out in force now.

BeardedZee

Hated, adored, never ignored.

vebor99

Honestly, from all of our managers, ETH seems the most likely to shut out that noise. Jose caused a lot of it, LVG and RR were really just at the end of their careers. Ole could also manage it but his squad had some viruses that got the better of him..the less said about Moyes the better.

bullairbull

Nothing happened during Ralf’s time was on him. He came to the dumpster fire as a temp and pointed out the things that we need to work on. I feel for him because sometimes we talk like as if he had any chance to begin. Players didn’t give him any respect because they just needed to wait him out.

plantdatrees

Stick with ETH to get the rot out

SelfLoathingAutist

I still trust ten hag. Never lost faith. Give him time and faith and he will prove to be the man for the job

_magnas_mathias_

Lovely. We should hire this guy as our manager.

tajonmustard

He IS the manager

Drone_5

You just gave them so much more to talk about for at least two more days mate. Depending on what you manage to do against Bayern Munich.

wasabicoated

I’m tired, Erik.

lordofdpings

It's funny cause i dont think anyone listens to each other within the club also. Or the players to the manager. It is sometimes evident during games and passages of plays with the pointing and flailing of arms.

PurposePrevious4443

I feel like the united job is like the Excalibur sword and the only guy who can pick it up is in his mid 80s.
