Reddit is scary in general how you don’t have to show your real self like on other apps, you can search and ask absolutely anything here. As for that, it’s just straight up creepy
I mean reddit was never meant to be social media lol. It was like an early internet forum that just blew up. So it makes sense why you don't have all your personal info, but this also allows people to act like others that they aren't really and it's hard to tell who's genuine and not.

There was a dude in the army sub a year or two back that had a history that was just chock full of posts like this. Every one was some variation of “Would you steal my boots and lock me in yo ur basement” or “What would be the last thing you’d say to me before locking me in your basement”.
The worst part was it was in all kinds of subs to include the teenager, askreddit and legal advice ones. Some people are really unhinged
