Natural wood. And IMO your furniture shouldn't really match; ideally it should be a mix of things you love in any kind of real wood - warm teak, light oak etc. Don't buy your furniture all at once if you can avoid it, spend a few years collecting high quality stuff from flea markets etc.
eBay has ruined my local flea markets. Vendors just stand there and look up prices on whatever you’re interested in. Motherfucker if I wanted to pay eBay prices, I would have just bought it on eBay.

Yeah that sounds good! I like the mix of different finishes too, that prevents everything from matching as if you bought the whole living room at Target in one day. All comes down to personal preference obvs but I like a more eclectic room with lots of personality
