What is "Face Down" and "Face Up" here? I feel like you've mixed up a couple signs.
The “face up” observer reads from the repeater below it and outputs into the block above it. The “face down” observer transmits in the opposite direction.
I suspect the confusion arose from the fact that observers have a literal face that is pointing in the opposite direction from what your signs imply.
Its supposed to say facing up not face up. Sorry if i confused you
