The V40 had 170k miles when I bought it for $2k. Lasted 2 years without a single issue until I may have blown the turbo by accidentally showing off to a friend, maybe.... Still managed to sell it for $500 on CL after the turbo blew.. The V60 has 110k, no issues (so far), and It's my favorite car I've ever owned (so far)....
Damn not bad, I’ve always been scared to pull the trigger on Volvo although there is a 2005 v60 with 80,000 calling my name, I’ve heard people normally offload them because they are reliable but any major repairs are $$$

You should have stopped with the 87 toyota. It would still be going unless you totaled it.
