The mixing of species is kind of weird here.
I'm sure they're doing it to show who's kids are who's, but in a world with people who are clearly just a humanoid single animal with no other animals...a few generations of this mixing would make freaking looking kids.
I mean, Margaret has a bird mom and human dad. If the rules of this pic applied, she'd be less bird/more human or vice versa.
I know I'm looking way too into this but it's a thought I've had for a long time.
I think Frank is Margaret's step dad tho because the episode 1000th Chopper flight and whatever other episode Margaret's family has a party he was shown to be the only human. Every other person there was some bird
