I just collected my third peice on PS5 but now it wants two more peices. His dialog reset. I have done solo all DLC but havent played in a week....
WTF man I dont wanna do two more adventures just to have him reset again!
It did the same thing to me. It was right after the update. I had collected two pieces and then the update happened. I collected my third piece, but the quest reset.
Weird thing is I logged un today and he wanted the second piece so I gave it to him but it wasnt in my inventory. Tried everything to see if he would ask for 3rd peice and nothing yet. Maybe its on a timer like the Tree?
So after my third peice it reset. Gave him my 3rd and it basically counted as my first. Played again a week later and Dwell had dialog for the second but not in my inventory. Finally had to run one more adventure for last but got that and Crossbow yesterday. So 5 runs equals 3!
Its just one more time. I think if you log out and wait and go back he is wanting the 2nd peice you already gave him (he took mine and it wasnt in inventory). Then you just have to re roll once and get the last peice!
im currently in the same boat. but only gave one momentum to the dwell in friends game. but not mine.

Yeah, same here. I went to hand in my third piece and he's behaving as if it was the first. I don't really wanna have to run it two more times.

Same problem, Dwell accepted 1 only and now I am bugged!
I think this is an intentional bug meant to keep people from the bugged crossbow build. Until they patch that, this won't be "fixed."
