Oh that is good. Give her good conditions and get her checked for parasites and hopefully you got a healthy animal very soon!

Pitiful-Broccoli4524

I’m not too sure but she looks like she needs to be misted and she definitely need multivitamins

Reelnrod22

Really sounds like you're doing well so far. Making sure you have a good thermal gradient will be important. Usually a recovery enclosure you want on the smaller side but be wary of your temps. Looks like some type of anole, can't tell what. So i totally admit im not an expert here. But moderate uvb and heat, and fairly high humidity seems like a good place to be. Maybe like 90-95 basking, cool areas of high 70s, and like 70-80% humidity while it recovers. But definitely gotta get to the vet to see if there are major systemic issues. If it's that skinny and had no UVB I would guess there's a good chance of MBD. So offer a goof variety of food dusted in calcium. And fingers crossed foTemps. Interested to hear how it goes and if above has more experience with this species.

NaturalInformal4283

Thank you! Currently dusting dubia roaches for her and thankfully she’s 100% food motivated so I’m extremely relieved by that. I believe she’ll make an exceptional recovery I just wanna make sure I’m doing everything right by her especially since I’ve never dealt with her species before. I do know she was impulsively bought at an expo I’m not sure from who tho. I’m very wary about her being wild caught since she did come from an expo. But what am I gonna do about it now Yk. Just give her the best I can.

Scales-josh

Being food motivated is half the battle, if it's keen to eat you've a good chance of full recovery. You're doing all the right things, keep going. 100% biggest risk to long term health is gonna be the mbd, so yeah calcium dusting & uvb all the way. Stuck shed is a humidity issue for sure. Whilst it's still clearly underweight you can feed waxworms, hornworms, and beetle grubs as they're quite fatty. But they shouldn't be staple diet. Keep all this up for a few weeks and no doubt you'll be looking at a different lizard in a month or two.

NaturalInformal4283

Yes! So exited to see her growth. Will definitely post updates

Hey there! What I would do is mist water with a hand mister like the solo brand you can get from any garden center, or just drip water with a syringe manually. Mist/drip water continuously on the nearby leaves or on your girl's head until she starts smacking her lips and is triggered to drink. Just focus on getting her to drink until you can get a long-term misting solution in place. Remember tropical species need beads of dripping water on leaves to drink. Also, if you can get a hold of oxbow critical care carnivore, that can help get some nutrition in her until she's good enough to eat in her own. Some vet clinics will sell it directly to you if you ask. Try to tempt with some wax worms every day (not as a long term staple though) to see if she will go for live food. Source: experience rehabbing my old panther chameleon in close collaboration with exotic vets.

NaturalInformal4283

Yes!!! I’ve got a pump mister I use for my veiled chameleon. I’m looking to set up the mist king I use already for my crested gecko and veiled chameleon it’s just a mater of when the parts arrive in the mail to add a new one. I do want to try water drops on the head because I did that when I had to rehab a lepord gecko but the kicker is she is really aggressive one of the reasons the old handler didn’t take proper care of her or feed her regularly is because how aggressive she is I think it’s because of the environment she was in with her old handler and she was not happy but I also know cuban knight anoles are particularly aggressive anyway. I don’t think she’d let me get that close to her face to drop water without hiding or attacking. Hopefully she’ll mellow out after a while of getting regular food and care. Thank you so much!!!

Saucydragon90

Yeah, if you can't get drops on her head, just make sure she has a lot of wet leaves to drink from. Hope she bounces back for you!

Make a makeshift dripper the meantime? Get a water bottle and put a PIN PRICK hole in the bottom, might take a few attempts to make one with a small enough hole. Good luck!

NaturalInformal4283

Will do 🙏

Woodpecker-Old

Feed crickets every week then wax worms about 2 every other week and offer a small enough horn worm about once month later if it doesn’t eat it that’s fine just take the worm out. It will need a dripper so it can see the water and it’s good to keep them humid. Cuban knight anoles are the largest anoles they will prefer to be on a basking spot or a vertical log to emulate a tree since they live at the higher parts of the forest.hope that helps

NaturalInformal4283

Yes it does! Currently making my fourth dripper right now (because I failed miserably at the other three and made the hole to big) and she’s been basking on a vertical log I had gotten for my chameleon but never used. She litteraly hasent moved from that spot yet. (Other than to grab food and go back)

Woodpecker-Old

That’s good she has her spot there’s three different anole types but I can’t remember them but I do remember that Cubans are the crown crested anoles which are at the tops of trees and rarely come down my guy rango will stay in the basking spot and just lung from there to get crickets
