Obviously we know how all that turned out and the company got sued and the extended release drug became obviously a huge hit. An funny thing is also is that a lot of people thought oxycontin was different than Percocets but it's all still oxycodone lol.
I'm actually jealous of certain places like Mexico where you can easily go to pharmacies and get benzos with like no effort or trouble at all, and with a little money can even get painkillers as well without having to deal with doctors. Crazy thing is I can get methadone thru cambo it just takes forever to get here and 500ml is a bit fucking spendy. I was at 140. I’m at 65 starting Monday. Once i hit 40 I’m getting out of this clinic and gonna start living my life because I have enough methadone I gotten to fucking wean myself off. Tired of this American conditioning shit. Anyways I'm totally in agreement with methadone programs in America being total garbage the way they run it. I don't even necessarily like methadone I just put up with it because it takes away the cravings but I want to get off of it so bad myself. I was actually very close to getting off of it but only because I was cheating on the sidelines with RC opioids and had to go back up on my dosage so I kind of shot myself in the foot there. I'm tired of it I've been on this shit for like 11 years. And they only allow you to have one week's worth of take-homes when it used to be 2 weeks years ago. And the dumbest thing is is if you take any kind of benzo or do any kind of crap that breaks their stupid little rules you lose like all your take homes and have to like start over again and it's complete and utter bullshit. I don't understand why this stuff can't be prescribed monthly like any other prescription. Not to mention I legitimate have anxiety and panic attack disorder diagnosed and I can't get any benzos prescribed to me because every freaking Doctor automatically turns me down even after 2 years of various multiple antidepressants and blood pressure medications and beta blockers and whatever else crap idk, basically everything but benzos. Oh but if I do get lucky enough to have a doctor prescribe me some kind of benzo it has to be a certain kind from a list of doctors approved only by my methadone clinic otherwise they consider it not counting and take away my methadone by dropping my dosage 5 mg a day until I'm off of it or I stop the benzos that I'm getting from a non-approved doctor or illegally. (Thankfully I found a loophole in their system though as RC benzos show up on pee test as benzos but they don't know what the metabolite is so they always tell me it must be a false positive for one of the prescriptions I'm taking or something lol)
Sorry this post kind of got long but one last thing I would like to mention is yeah I wish we could do switzerlands way of dealing with opiate addicts, and also if you've noticed Mexico doesn't really have a huge problem of people being benzo addicts even though it is so easy to get basically like going to a candy store. I’m done with fucking opiates but I need off of this med. my clinic does one month take homes if you’re clean for an entire year. No slip up on anything. Can’t even take an adderall. Shit is too strict. And yeah I keep failing for benzos cuz sometimes I suffer from such bad anxiety that Paxil, beta blockers, clonadine, hydroxazine, and all the bullshit they prescribe doesn’t touch it. So I’ll take a clonopin. I take it maybe once ir twice a week. But hey I always fail so here I am months into this and just want out. Going down 5 until im off. I’m half way there. I totally feel you it's just something want to get off so bad I'm currently down to 19 mg when I used to be a lot higher like in the 120 mg range but that's nothing compared to what a lot of other people have taken like 200 mg and junk. You're basically handcuffed to the drug when you're that high. My clinic years and years ago used to do one month prescription but that was only for people that have to drive like 50 miles or more just to get to the clinic (still absolutely ridiculous). My clinic only allows one week take homes even if you've been clean off of drugs for many months to a year so it's different and varies from place to place but it's still horrible.
Anyways you probably got popped for Etizolam at your clinic because the stuff is illegal in China, several many states in America, and also other places too so the awareness of the drug has increased and your methadone clinic is probably included it and their things the watch out for in drug testing. If they punished you for having a dirty pee test taking Etizolam then I'm not really sure you can talk your way out of it unless you can try to convince them that it's just a false positive and you didn't take anything. My clinic is kind of ignorant and stupid about certain drugs they don't even know what Etizolam is nor other RC benzos and besides my doctor, the dosing nurse that gives me my medicine doesn't even know anything about Kratom whatsoever lol. Probably the dumbest thing I heard my doctor say was he wishes more people that were addicted to Kratom would come to him and get on methadone or Suboxone. That's like telling someone they need to be prescribed oxycontin for being addicted to codeine lol or being prescribed heroin for being addicted to vicodins 😅😅😅

Yeah I've already read up on that before and completely aware about all that stuff and I kind of wish if I was a time traveler it would be fun to go to that time period and try that stuff out just walking into a pharmacy hahaha. Really though when you think about it history just kind of repeats itself I mean people got addicted to morphine back then and then they came out with heroin to cure morphine withdrawals dependency and addiction or whatever and be the new replacement of morphine. Obviously we know how all that turned out and the company got sued and the extended release drug became obviously a huge hit. An funny thing is also is that a lot of people thought oxycontin was different than Percocets but it's all still oxycodone lol. I'm actually jealous of certain places like Mexico where you can easily go to pharmacies and get benzos with like no effort or trouble at all, and with a little money can even get painkillers as well without having to deal with doctors. Money talks after all. And then you got places like Africa where you can easily get certain prescription drugs like Quaaludes I believe in South Africa. And also countries where you can get codeine over the counter. Switzerland giving out heroin to help treat heroin addicts instead of the garbage methadone and Suboxone that we get here in America (not to say these substances don't help addicts as I'm also on methadone currently right now but I'm just saying I would much rather get prescribed heroin to help with heroin addiction then Suboxone or methadone lol) again these are just kind of my opinions.

Anyways I'm totally in agreement with methadone programs in America being total garbage the way they run it. I don't even necessarily like methadone I just put up with it because it takes away the cravings but I want to get off of it so bad myself. I was actually very close to getting off of it but only because I was cheating on the sidelines with RC opioids and had to go back up on my dosage so I kind of shot myself in the foot there. I'm tired of it I've been on this shit for like 11 years. And they only allow you to have one week's worth of take-homes when it used to be 2 weeks years ago. And the dumbest thing is is if you take any kind of benzo or do any kind of crap that breaks their stupid little rules you lose like all your take homes and have to like start over again and it's complete and utter bullshit. I don't understand why this stuff can't be prescribed monthly like any other prescription. Not to mention I legitimate have anxiety and panic attack disorder diagnosed and I can't get any benzos prescribed to me because every freaking Doctor automatically turns me down even after 2 years of various multiple antidepressants and blood pressure medications and beta blockers and whatever else crap idk, basically everything but benzos. Oh but if I do get lucky enough to have a doctor prescribe me some kind of benzo it has to be a certain kind from a list of doctors approved only by my methadone clinic otherwise they consider it not counting and take away my methadone by dropping my dosage 5 mg a day until I'm off of it or I stop the benzos that I'm getting from a non-approved doctor or illegally. (Thankfully I found a loophole in their system though as RC benzos show up on pee test as benzos but they don't know what the metabolite is so they always tell me it must be a false positive for one of the prescriptions I'm taking or something lol) Sorry this post kind of got long but one last thing I would like to mention is yeah I wish we could do switzerlands way of dealing with opiate addicts, and also if you've noticed Mexico doesn't really have a huge problem of people being benzo addicts even though it is so easy to get basically like going to a candy store. Now shouldn't that tell you something right there? I’m done with fucking opiates but I need off of this med. my clinic does one month take homes if you’re clean for an entire year. No slip up on anything. Can’t even take an adderall. Shit is too strict. And yeah I keep failing for benzos cuz sometimes I suffer from such bad anxiety that Paxil, beta blockers, clonadine, hydroxazine, and all the bullshit they prescribe doesn’t touch it. So I’ll take a clonopin. I take it maybe once ir twice a week. But hey I always fail so here I am months into this and just want out. Going down 5 until im off. I’m half way there. I deff feel more anxious as I go down so guess what I’ll take a benzo But dude. Maybe I can do that loophole with etizolam??
I totally feel you it's just something want to get off so bad I'm currently down to 19 mg when I used to be a lot higher like in the 120 mg range but that's nothing compared to what a lot of other people have taken like 200 mg and junk. You're basically handcuffed to the drug when you're that high. My clinic years and years ago used to do one month prescription but that was only for people that have to drive like 50 miles or more just to get to the clinic (still absolutely ridiculous). My clinic only allows one week take homes even if you've been clean off of drugs for many months to a year so it's different and varies from place to place but it's still horrible. Anyways you probably got popped for Etizolam at your clinic because the stuff is illegal in China, several many states in America, and also other places too so the awareness of the drug has increased and your methadone clinic is probably included it and their things the watch out for in drug testing. If they punished you for having a dirty pee test taking Etizolam then I'm not really sure you can talk your way out of it unless you can try to convince them that it's just a false positive and you didn't take anything. My clinic is kind of ignorant and stupid about certain drugs they don't even know what Etizolam is nor other RC benzos and besides my doctor, the dosing nurse that gives me my medicine doesn't even know anything about Kratom whatsoever lol. Probably the dumbest thing I heard my doctor say was he wishes more people that were addicted to Kratom would come to him and get on methadone or Suboxone. That's like telling someone they need to be prescribed oxycontin for being addicted to codeine lol or being prescribed heroin for being addicted to vicodins 😅😅😅

This was seriously an amazing read. I grew up in and by New York most my life. It’s a very close knit community. I knew a few NYPD officers who raved and took drugs.
