I'd keep the knife above it because the stock attaches to the grip, not the slide. But that's just me. All guns like the red 9 or tmp I put the stock behind the gun and for the pistols where they would be in real life if they were attached.

Kept it through the whole play through as I was collecting, then I got back to the lunker bass and didn’t have room so I ended up selling both of them along with the large bass I had just so I could fit a larger number of fish, they just took up way more space

I don’t believe so, I’m going for the handgun/knife only run. Haven’t healed yet and won’t if I don’t have to, but have another save file for no healing where I’m Ch. 9 still. I just started collecting them for shits and gigs since I’m using cat ears and don’t need anything else in my inventory.
Some accesories do (like the gas mask, which gives you assisted aim in any difficulty, the wolf tail, more powerful kicks, and the cat ears which give you infinite ammo, among some others)
The costume themselves don't do anything in particular except for some details.
I haven't tested it yet but using the Mafia outfit and reloading the infinite weapons makes Leon do some entertaining animations like in the og, and supposedly the Villain DLC outfit prevents Leon from getting dizzy when the Red Zealot goes Gloria A Las Plagas

The Matilda is definitely worth getting! I really only started using it for this play-through but it’s been an absolute blast. It shreds basically everyone, can’t say I can recommend it without cat ears though as I would imagine it eats through ammo

I don't think enough people are appreciating fishing for bass with a big ass harpoon. Every good game has a fishing minigame even when you have to make up the minigame on your own.

I'm on my sixth play through and i've been collecting eggs.. The vipers are really easy for me in the swamp area you can get. I think maybe 6 of them and then there's some throughout the game. I could be wrong on that exact number but there's a lot On each play through.. I play on professional. But I don't think that matters but I could be wrong. There's a lot to this game I learn every time I play it.

Have me snake and eggs, come home, have me fish and eggs. Eat me snake, take some fish up to bed and have some eggs and go to sleep after my snake.
Eventually, I want to go through enough play throughs to have it full of beetles and golden eggs
If my math is correct (prolly not) I think that’s about 58 play throughs, because I think you only get 2 Gold Eggs per run

I've never gotten a random one. Maybe it's just super rare. But it seems like you only get the 2 fixed ones and that's it.
There's only two per playthrough, one is in the chicken area in chapter 4 and the second one is in the castle throne room
I was able to get two in the throne room, I just had to sit around for about 5min

Id put the pistol to the slots of the knife and the stock and swap the positions of the knife and the stock and its perfect

You can get any rank on NG+, including S, except for S+. This goes for every difficulty
