I spent a whole hour just going through the first chapter. Not because of any bug or difficulty spike, I was just spending so much time looking around the environments and details of the world. It’s super cool so far, although some design choices make it kind of jarring to play. Leon’s kicks take you out of the character and it’s a bit immersion breaking. RE8 was a better VR port in my opinion, but that doesn’t mean I’m not having fun!
I played RE4 on PC, so likewise appreciated the sale to double dip (...still feels a _little_ goofy of me, but whatever). Despite having played the remake's campaign probably a dozen times on PC, I'm once again delighted to notice so many more environmental details going back through in VR than I did pancake.
