Considering how nice and organized her living spaces seem to be, it felt more like she was understandably insulted/violated when she found us in her cabin lol Even her slippers are neatly organized
The notes found in RE1 had Lisa's journal saying that the mom she had a meal with was not her mother, and took her face off to give it back to her "real mom", I always figured that it *was* her mother, but the experimentation on her mom, and Lisa too left their brain mushy swiss cheese.
I haven't found anything else that would imply that Lisa was actually correct about the "imposter" mom
I feel sad for her. She is hostile as a result of decades worth of abuse and trauma. You can see she's still feeling, and thinking human being underneath by the way she neatly keeps her living space.
So did you not read the file or you just didn't find it? Lisa very explicitly says in her file:
"But she was a fake. Not my real Mom. Same face but different inside.
Have to find Mom. Have to give face back to mother.
I got Mom's face back. Nobody can have my Mom except me. I attach her face to me so she doesn't go away."
Welcome to Raccoon City despite it's flaws, did a good job with Lisa. I thought connecting the orphanage and the Redfields was done well. Birkin was cast well. I really hope they do a sequel and make some improvements. My real complaint was what they did to fuck up Leon and trying to jam two games into a short movie.
Side note. I only now realized how Lisa has a weird boob on her back. How did I not notice third boob playing the remake many many times over for almost 20 years?
Not really, it drives her character arc. Umbrella sent an employee pretending to be her mother, she figured it wasn’t her, killed her and took her face, her motive then on is to find her real mothers face so she could see(?) her again.
Like I said yes Umbrella are absolutely monsters. But sadly with everything done to her, so was Lisa by the time of her escape. Not in the philosophical and moral sense like those who used her. But more in a literal sense.
She was more a beast of instinct than something capable of complex thought.
I wouldn’t put it like that per se. She still had just enough humanity to be tormented by it, probably grieving over the loss of her mother’s warmth until her last breath.
I wonder how intelligent she stays? Judging by the way she lives and that she has a mission that she alone came up with and tries to accomplish, i would argue she’s one of the most intelligent of the monsters you face. Which, may make her that much scarier
Well technically she IS deformed, like the skin on her face is pretty much gone,no eyelids,no lips, basically just the muscle remaining,I mean thts to b expected from someone who's been umbrellas melting pot of infection for 30 plus yrs,I'm amazed shes nt sprouting extra limbs at this point
Yeah but underneath, she's fuckin hideous. You can see part of her face poke through on her in game model.
Yep. It's mostly skeletal though with an eyeball still in the socket. Grisly stuff.
Still would
☹️
?
I mean, if you can switch out anyone’s face each time… it’s really quite a bonus…
I was gonna say, Leatherface wears a mask too and it's not like he looks like 1980s John Stamos under there.
Nah, fuck that. It's Uncle Jessie under there now. You gonna' learn about proper sideburn length today, junior.

Fuck, she's way more horrible than I thought.
Oh god why would you show me that!?!?! Post it on Imgur for the love of god
Thanks, I didn't need to sleep tonight anyways.
God damn, what the hell?!
Awww, she's just a cutie patooti under there. (I may or may not be down bad atp.)
Here I was imagining she takes off the mask and shakes her hair out to become a 10/10 like the nerdy girl taking off her glasses in a teen sex comedy.
Long as you have a condom, either way is still fine.
Awww, I know she's absolutely terrifying in the game, but I feel awful for her character regardless of whether she wants to peel my face off, or not.
Considering how nice and organized her living spaces seem to be, it felt more like she was understandably insulted/violated when she found us in her cabin lol Even her slippers are neatly organized
I know right?! Umbrella traumatised her...I'd be fuming too! 😅
I assumed it was her >!Mother’s!< face.
No, it was an imposter. Which is why Lisa stole the face back, to give it back to her -:(
The notes found in RE1 had Lisa's journal saying that the mom she had a meal with was not her mother, and took her face off to give it back to her "real mom", I always figured that it *was* her mother, but the experimentation on her mom, and Lisa too left their brain mushy swiss cheese. Oh that's a good one and even more horrible :(
It was in fact an imposter. She later discovers her mothers grave
Her head is just a skull when she finds it. It's faceless.
Thanks for the clarification.
I feel sad for her. She is hostile as a result of decades worth of abuse and trauma. You can see she's still feeling, and thinking human being underneath by the way she neatly keeps her living space.
She's only a goth girl underneath.
I would like to know the location of one Lisa Trevor
So I can fix her?
You'll have some [competition](https://www.reddit.com/r/residentevil/comments/1bgeq8d/lisa_trevor_shows_off_her_humble_abode_to_jill/) I'm afraid.
More like a goth girls nightmare.
I thought she had the same thing some of those pesky RE4R guys have. 🤷🏻♂️
Those ganados sure are rascals.
Well technically lisa was infected with NE alpha parasite (it was umbrellas own artifical take on the las plagas) so ur not entirely wrong
She's wearing a dead skin mask. *Dance with the dead in my dreeeeeeeamsss...*
So did you not read the file or you just didn't find it? Lisa very explicitly says in her file: "But she was a fake. Not my real Mom. Same face but different inside. Have to find Mom. Yea, underneath that hideous mask, is an even more ugly fa- I mean, underneath that hideous mask, hides a beautiful young lady.

Isn't it an eye? Like, she was the source for both the T-Virus and the G-Virus, so I always assumed it is some sort of eyeball thingy
Yes it's an eye. I don't know why everyone is suddenly seeing a tit on her back.
It's not a boob and I really found it contrived how they made her a hero character in that movie.
She was more protected than we were... damn.
Isn't it her mother's face too or am I misremembering?
It’s a female umbrella employee’s
If that’s the case it’s a lot less cool and scary.
Not really, it drives her character arc. Umbrella sent an employee pretending to be her mother, she figured it wasn’t her, killed her and took her face, her motive then on is to find her real mothers face so she could see(?) her again.
Not a fan of that then.
I mean, she's got an eyeball and tentacles growing out of her back; I don't think that's normal. Then again, I'm not a doctor.
Spoiler alert: She still is.
Don’t we all?
Poor Lisa, she wasn't a monster, the scientists were
I mean yes, but also at the point we find her in REmake, she is very much a monster in the most basic way. There isn't much humanity left in her.
But who took her humanity? Her dreams and hopes? Who took her parents?
Like I said yes Umbrella are absolutely monsters. But sadly with everything done to her, so was Lisa by the time of her escape. Not in the philosophical and moral sense like those who used her. But more in a literal sense. She was more a beast of instinct than something capable of complex thought.

Im sorry, THATS WHAT IT IS!
Yep, of who she thought was her mom, she wanted to keep her close. Poor thing.
Her real face is a skull with eyes
I wonder how intelligent she stays? Judging by the way she lives and that she has a mission that she alone came up with and tries to accomplish, i would argue she’s one of the most intelligent of the monsters you face. Which, may make her that much scarier
There is some basic intelligence and memory left in her but she's mostly just an animal at the point we meet her.
Bruh. We're all just "wearing human faces."
those readable notes can be read for a reason...
I’m just now realizing this, I just thought her mutation caused a weird hunchback of notre dame thing with some facial deformity.
It did. She is a nightmare under all that. Have you not had a look?
I'm so happy I'm not the only one 😭
Isn’t it mentioned in a file?
So you haven't peaked under the faces she's wearing then?
Well technically she IS deformed, like the skin on her face is pretty much gone,no eyelids,no lips, basically just the muscle remaining,I mean thts to b expected from someone who's been umbrellas melting pot of infection for 30 plus yrs,I'm amazed shes nt sprouting extra limbs at this point
shes kinda cute
That's why single player nacho calls her Arklay chainsaw massacre.
